After a cleaning the dentist told me I had 3 cavities which was odd for me to hear as I haven't had a cavity in years. They gave me an approx. insurance quote which would cost $200 out of my pocket. I went to get a 2nd opinion (Thank you Smile Care) and was told I have no cavities. Scam for sure. Beware. I will not be going back.

I had to pay out of pocket at MooreSmiles (much better experience!) for a temp crown before a wedding I was in. Midwest of course destroyed that during a first permanent attempt but refused to cancel my services to go elsewhere. The second permanent attempt, I was told "this is the best they could do" and I "should have gone to a cosmetic dentist". 0/5, would not recommend!!!!

But I did receive 3 reminders about my cleaning in the month of April. Secondly, a dental hygienist that didn't completely cover me in water. Literally running in my ear and down my neck. I had to ask her for a towel and dried off several times while she was doing my cleaning. I'm 59 years old so I've had an extreme number of cleanings in my lifetime. Never before was I being drenched in water. Never! I also had no idea that the dentist I used last time had left. It seems like Midwest Dental only hires professionals that have a traveling contract (the hygienist told me she was). I have a tooth that broke and was told the only way to fix it was to have it pulled. At this appointment though, the dentist told me he could put a crown on it. I said really? I was told it had to be pulled there wasn't enough of my tooth for a crown and he said, well, I think I've done a crown on a tooth like yours before. That was it. Even after the cleaning,,there was absolutely no way I would ever go back to that office.
