Months later I had to cancel an appointment due to a work emergency. I called ahead to let them know I couldn't make it, rather than being 10-12 minutes late to the appointment. Four days later I received a letter in the mail saying I could no longer be seen as a patient there. EXTREMELY disappointing.

They squeezed me in, cared for me, and fixed my tooth the next morning. Such a relief! Because Dr. Cochrane and my experience were so great, I was compelled to make a treatment plan for my dental care. He put me at ease, explaining everything, giving me options to move forward. His Team is INCREDIBLE. I just got back from get 2 crowns put on that they 3D printed in the office SAME DAY. His Superstar Dental Assistant Sophie deserves hazard pay for helping me with my anxiety through this difficult appointment. (I have had several appointments at RIvertown, in Viroqua and at the La Crosse Office. Shout out to Maddy and Heidi who are also incredible Assistants!) Listen, it's a great place. They are kind people. State-of-the-Art Equipment. They REALLY know what they are doing. And they care about their patients. I had my wisdom teeth out last week at Grand River Dental. I have been incredibly afraid to get…read morethis procedure done for my whole life which is why I put it off for so long. It finally became something that I could no longer avoid so I went to Grand River Dental because I really trust the dentists there to do the best job. It turns out that I was correct to trust them because they made the whole process seamless. I was in and out with four less wisdom teeth and barely any pain and no swelling (granted i was on pain killers) I was back to work the next day and minus the obvious healing curve, everything was back to normal very quickly. My wisdom teeth were fully grown in so it's possible that my procedure went smoother than someone whose teeth are not fully grown in or impacted, but even then, I would trust this team to do the best job they could to minimize the trauma from this surgery. Nothing that I was scared of happening happened and I am so grateful to this dental team!

Dr. Malin is a real expert at his craft and his chair-side manner is fantastic! I was particularly impressed by how much state-of-the-art equipment Dr. Malin had in the office. I've been to other doctors for CT scans and all the rest, but Dr. Malin was able to do it all in his office the same day. To top it off all of the staff at GRD are all very friendly and helpful as well! Definitely will come back and definitely recommend Grand River Dental! Thanks, Dr. Malin!

After a cleaning the dentist told me I had 3 cavities which was odd for me to hear as I haven't had a cavity in years. They gave me an approx. insurance quote which would cost $200 out of my pocket. I went to get a 2nd opinion (Thank you Smile Care) and was told I have no cavities. Scam for sure. Beware. I will not be going back.

I had to pay out of pocket at MooreSmiles (much better experience!) for a temp crown before a wedding I was in. Midwest of course destroyed that during a first permanent attempt but refused to cancel my services to go elsewhere. The second permanent attempt, I was told "this is the best they could do" and I "should have gone to a cosmetic dentist". 0/5, would not recommend!!!!

But I did receive 3 reminders about my cleaning in the month of April. Secondly, a dental hygienist that didn't completely cover me in water. Literally running in my ear and down my neck. I had to ask her for a towel and dried off several times while she was doing my cleaning. I'm 59 years old so I've had an extreme number of cleanings in my lifetime. Never before was I being drenched in water. Never! I also had no idea that the dentist I used last time had left. It seems like Midwest Dental only hires professionals that have a traveling contract (the hygienist told me she was). I have a tooth that broke and was told the only way to fix it was to have it pulled. At this appointment though, the dentist told me he could put a crown on it. I said really? I was told it had to be pulled there wasn't enough of my tooth for a crown and he said, well, I think I've done a crown on a tooth like yours before. That was it. Even after the cleaning,,there was absolutely no way I would ever go back to that office.

I've been seeing Dr. Christine Jones for many years and she is absolutely wonderful. She is very…read morecaring, pleasant to talk with, very gentle, and I feel, does very good dental work. (I used to be a Dental Assistant, so I've seen a number of dentist's work!) Dr. Jones does anesthetics (numbing) exceptionally well, and honestly, you barely feel anything! She makes going to the dentist easy and not something you are "dreading." I would highly recommend her. I have recommended her to all of my family and friends.
