I live a few blocks away. I have been coming to Wolf Auto Center for almost 10 years. From regular maintenance issues, mechanical issues and big accidents--Jose has always taken care of me and my families cars. This is a small, family owned business in Silverlake. There aren't many small autobody shops like this left. Jose and his family are honest, hard-working people. They have always been fair, transparent and try to get me the best value on what work is necessary. Make sure you call before you go. They are a small business and can get busy sometimes. They are good people. read more

I have a 50 yr old motorcycle, so almost continuously it needs to be maintained and have to order parts when needed. But this time as I rode the gas tank was vibrating like mad. I took the tank off and saw that the mounting bracket to the frame rusted completely off. Called around to numerous portable welding places and they would cost an arm and a leg for something this small. I coasted down to the shop and Jose and Emilio were the best. Quoted me an awesome price and started the work right away, taking great care to protect the other parts of my bike. And when Emilio was done, noticed I needed a little bit of extra welding on my tailpipe. Did it for free. Honest people and phenomenal service! read more

Very unprofessional takes forever to work on your car body shop owner Jose said it would be done it 2 months and 5 months later the car was finished. Very bad time management and it's a nightmare to get in contact with someone and once the car is finished there are some noises the car makes and when I attempted to return the car to rectify the issues he kept the car another month only to have scratches on the hood from what I believe is keys or a belt. They do not take care of your vehicle please stay away there are other good body shops to go to. read more

The worst place to repair your car. They scam the insurance and leave the cars poorly fixed, they charge for parts that they never put on your car and besides, if you ask for all the old parts back, Jose tell you that he already threw them away, this place has been fraud for a long time. SCAM be careful read more

My husband when to this place because it was recommended by a friend. They tow the car because the front side was crash and damaged, this guy who works there give him a price. When the insurance came back with a check this guy changes his price. This place is not a honest place to do business. The cost of the repair was for much more less. read more

Great local repair shop. They were very friendly and responsible and were able to help us right on the spot. They are relatively new in town but offered us a very fair price and even gave us a complimentary rental car so we could grab lunch while they changed our tire. I've been coming back to Wolf Auto for maintenance and repairs ever since and have recommended them to everyone I know who needs a solid, trustworthy mechanic. Jose does amazing work and is always great about laying out your options and giving you a fair price! read more

Full paint job for 2008 Dodge Avenger was fantastic Took the car in during the summer of 2021 and was completed in abput 4-6 months. Affordable and willing to work with the customer, also make makes honest and fair recommendations for upgrades on your vehicle (replacing my rusty hood and front bumper was cheaper than getting them "fixed") read more

This place is the best! Never have I ever been to an auto shop and have had such a great service. I came in after my bumper fell off and others shop said that unfortunately the only way to put it back on was with visible screws through the bumper. But Jose did magic and went beyond, my bumper got fixed with no apparent screws. And my car was cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Beverly is incredible business woman and she will make sure you understand all the repaid before charging you, such a unique and refreshing attitude in the auto repair industry. I couldn't be happier. They deserve 10 stars! read more

I was in a minor car accident the night before I was totally bummed out and assumed the worst when it came to repairing it. But I was fortunate enough to have found this spot. It was the best, and fastest place I have ever been to. No wait. They took me right in and Im very satisfied on the turn out looks good as new. I received a complimentary car wash, they were so nice they placed a personalized note with candy thanking me for being a costumer. And if you've been to most body shops no one takes the time to do that anymore and I love the care they have for their costumer. I absolutely love this place they took care of everything and made me feel cared for. Thank you so much Wolf Auto Center I can't thank them enough. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I honestly never expected my first experience at an auto shop to be this good. After a long tough week, Wolf auto was the ray of hope I needed. Jose and Beverly are just the nicest people you will ever meet. They treat you like an old friend and take care of your car like it's their own. After hearing so much about dishonest mechanic centres, I was afraid of what I might experience. I needed my left headlight replaced and though it was an extra financial burden at the moment It had to be done. However when I came back to collect the car, they had just happened to get the headlight working without replacing it. It was an extra 35$ inclusive of labour which they could have easily capitalised on, not to mention the complimentary car wash. In this day and age, when it's so hard to find honest mechanic work done, Wolf Auto is the exception.10/10 would return and recommend to anyone, the way it was recommended to me :) read more

I was recommended to Wolf Auto Center through a friend of mine. I am happy that I came. I was truly taken care of from start to finish by Jose. I brought my car here because of a collision that happened. He notified insurance, took care of paperwork, communication was on point, fast turn around, and the car came out brand new. Very shiny! I was very impressed. I didn't have to contact my insurance company, not one time though the whole process. Jose is the man!!! I will recommend any one to Wolf Auto Center. I had a great experience. Wolf Auto is hands down the BEST auto shop I've ever worked with in 9 years of living in LA. And I genuinely mean it! Jose has always been so up front & honest with me about what my car needs. As a woman who isn't mechanically skilled, I really value that I've found someone trustworthy who I know isn't trying to take advantage of me. He's also alerted me of several recalls on my car that I didn't know about and was able to catch. I found Wolf organically as I live nearby. Since my first visit, Jose has been doing repairs on my car for the last year. I've had everything from tire replacements to bigger air bag sensor work done with him. My car ended up being totaled in an accident that is not my fault early this month. I haven't seen Jose in 5 months and stopped by today to request itemized receipts of his work this year for my insurance. Not only did he REMEMBER MY NAME (what! that means so much to me), he's taking the time to gather all of those for me free of charge and in a 1-2 day turnaround. This is the only body shop I've felt completely satisfied with in the city and I'd recommend to anyone/everyone, ESPECIALLY women (or uninformed men!) looking to not be ripped off. Run by good, hard working people who want to do their best work on your car. Bonus points for the CUTE office pups! read more

First off , let me say that I first met Jose out and about while I was spending time with my family. Jose's family and mine were sharing the bowling area for kids. I started to talk to Jose and one thing led to another He was painting the grey mustang you see in the photos. Man am I glad he did. He was on time, kept me informed about every step of the repair and always gave me enough time to prepare for things we might need in the future.. he did everything he said he would do , even doing extra touches to make sure it came out clean. When the car was finally finished and I seen the finished product, I was more than pleased with his quality of work. All the lines were perfect and everything was installed and working in proper order. He has a clean shop and a very nice spay booth.. the car always gets compliments everywhere it goes , people always comment about how wet the paint looks..its been about 2 years and the paint is looking good. I wash it about once a week and use hand wax every couple washes , looks like glass. He will definitely do my 67 faskback when I'm ready. read more

I've taken several of my vehicles here for body repair work. Jose is an absolute genius as I'm quite picky and yet can never see any evidence of where he has made repairs.  He's worked on several of my friends cars too, and we've all been very happy. I think another thing which sets this place apart from other auto repair shops in LA is that Jose is a genuine and honest person who won't screw you over, hence why I'm always happy to get work done here, and will continue to do so. read more

It was the first time I went to this place and the experience was amazing. New owners, super nice and professional. I had a bump from an accident and many scratches on my car and they fixed it and it looks like new. On top of it, they cleaned my headlights, the body of my car and vacuum the inside, what a great customer service. Also, pricing is very competitive, $160 everything included. Free quote. Will be back for sure and would suggest anyone who needs some work on their car to check this place out! read more

I usually don't write reviews on Yelp but after the great experience I had with Jose' Ramirez at Wolf Auto Center, I am writing today. I brought a car in that I purchased recently that had been parked outside for years and the paint was is bad shape. Not only did he remove the scratches and damage from bird droppings, he also made the head and taillights look new again and cleaned the wheels and put sealer on the tires. Jose' went above and beyond what I expected and his price for the work was reasonable. He was also very knowledgeable and professional, a pleasure to deal with! Thanks Jose', I will bring any future body repair to your shop. RJ Noel read more

I wish I could add another 3 STARS !!! for Wolf Auto Center. Beverly and Jose were so gracious and kind. The shop was so clean, I didn't think I was at an auto repair shop. I was visiting my son in Silverlake, driving hundreds of miles with my daughter. and not surprisingly, the LA roads punctured one of the tires. They lent us a car so we could go have lunch and spend time together while they repaired the tire AND washed the car for us. Then about a month later, when my son had to have his brakes replaced, he didn't hesitate a second to go back to Wolf Auto and once again, the way they thoroughly explained the options and didn't gouge my son, the musician, with exorbitant pricing, is very rare these days. And, as his mom, I was confident that the work they did on the brakes would keep him safe. Wolf brings back craftsmanship, kindness and honesty! This place is amazing! My car was broken into and my window was completely smashed. My car insurance company was being really difficult and Wolf Auto handled the whole thing for me. They were so sweet and made a bad situation into a good one. Highly recommend! read more

Wolf auto shop did an excellent job on my vehicle. I had them replace and repaint my front bumper, dent pender right above the tire and replace the rear side mirror of my cars. I went to many different body shops previously and most of the body shop didn't match the paint color with original. Only this body shop had matched original paint color. The owner, Jose was very professional from begging to finish. He always answered my call, his team was very polite. When I ready to pick up my car and I was very surprised that looks like a brand new car. They did great job done, my expectations were exceeded. In addition, I had a big scratch key marked on the drive side door, then the owner removed for the free service. A deep scratched mark is gone now and his team did an amazing job! One thing that I was a bit disappointed when the owner made my rental car arrangements and rental car had over 60k miles. After 2 days, I returned their rental car then I had enterprise rental car. Over all, I highly recommend to my friend, and who looking for professional body shop! -Connie C.- read more

After having my car go through so many different trials of endurance and several minor accidents, I was now desperate to restore the beautiful Beyonce that was once my car. While searching for a place that could provide me great service at an affordable price, I happened to bump into the owner Beverly. She was incredibly nice and helpful and listened to my issue and offered to help me out. When I drove into her store she and her team immediately went to work and diagnosed my car and was able to give me a quote for her work. It was a fantastic deal and they were able to get it done in a very reasonably short time. I have had some shoddy work done on my car before, and they went out of her way to correct the mistakes of previous services. Needless to say, I and my wallet are very satisfied with the work the team provided me. With such diligence and kindness; I have already recommended a couple people to this shop and won't stop til WOLF AUTO CENTER is known for being the best shop in town. (: I would definitely recommend anyone to visit the shop even if it's just for a quote. (I can guarantee this will be your final choice). You guys don't want to go to any other shop but the WOLF AUTO CENTER! I fell in love with the service provided by Beverly and her team. Thank you for the amazing job done on my baby! :) read more
