The worst chinese food restaurant ever!!! I cook way better than this restaurant called wok's up! Basically all the food we ordered have no flavor whatsoever, i ordered rice beef bowl with kungpao sauce and it taste nothing like kungpao sauce. My friends ordered chicken curry rice bowl, no coconut sauce was used and he said my cooking is way better and I can open a restaurant if I wanted to. Complete lack of customer service. We felt like we were bothering the cashier by coming in to order. There were multiple choices for "seasoning" but regardless of what you got it was all as bland as Iowa grits. My fiancé got kung pow and it was about as as spicy as ketchup. This is a Chinese sit down place that has been doctored up to seem not like a walk up Chinese spot, but it is. They cook every order fresh with huge Woks yet the food was similar to a your Chinese walk up restaurants. You do get to make your own bowls of rice, noodles or Stir Fry with a couple of appetizer option. I order the shrimp noodle bowl with soba noodles shrimp, mushrooms, broccoli, and carrots. I was charged$.50 for the extra sauce which they initially forgot and then it was not sauce at all... It was dry seasoning. I let her know I expected sauce I could dip in. She seemed to not care. She offered no apology. The steak was tough and well done. The salad consisted of a handful of lettuce at the bottom of the bowl that was now wilted. The veggies were scarce. The chicken was good. But the overall flavor was over powered with the saltiness. So if you are watching sodium, not sure if you need to let them know that. If you are looking for salad, know it means only a handful of lettuce. And if you enjoy jerky, order the steak. I think I will pass in the future in eating here. read more

This is fast or casual Asian food. The specialty is stir fry bowls. They make your food fresh using rice, noodles, meats, fresh vegetables. Stand in line to order and they bring to your table. The other items like tempura shrimp, fried mushrooms and wontons are also very good. The family that runs this place is friendly and courteous but cooking delicious food is what they do best. We got take out here because they do not offer inside dining. We used their recommended app to order which was very easy. My wife and I both got the build your own stir fry. We both opted for chicken fried rice, your choice of sauce and five vegetables. I chose the General Tsao and my wife got the Kung Pao. My chicken was lightly fried and hers was grilled. This is not your typical "fast food" oriental restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find quality food.... and lots of it! Walking in it feels like a very sterile environment, not warm and welcoming. However the employees immediately greeted us and began to explain how the ordering works. You look at the options and plan your own "feast". Everything is made to order and the ingredients are fresh. Choose your protein, vegetables... and more vegetables, and sauce. If you want double of one vegetable just ask. I expected a small amount of shrimp on top of all the vegetables that I chose... how wrong I was. I stopped counting at 20 shrimp in the dish. The tables could use a good cleaning and the floor is sticky from the spills from the self service soda machine. We will definitely return next time we head to the movies. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I was getting a to go order after running errands and the menu looked really promising. I got a couple of eggrolls and both the meals I ordered had chicken with maxed out veggies. One had Asian bbq and one had Kung Pao - two typically very flavorful sauces. So the good: this place was very clean when I visited and the staff was courteous. All the ingredients seemed to be very fresh and high quality. Also the eggrolls and yum yum sauce were awesome. The bad: both meals could have used more sauce, and the sauce could use more flavor. With the Kung Pao, all I tasted was a kick of heat, very little flavor. The veggies were also VERY undercooked - the broccoli seemed as though it barely saw any heat. My husband and I agreed there's nothing actually wrong with the base ingredients, so instead of eating this for lunch, I'm going to throw it in the skillet with some more sauce and actually cook those veggies. Delicious! We were lucky to stumble upon this place soon after they opened. Wok's Up allows you to make a custom stir fry bowl by picking a meat, some veggies, a sauce, and a base. The menu has some suggestions on which stir fry veggies to pick with which sauce but you still need to pick your meat and base. I initially ordered the General Tsao's chicken but after ordering they told me they were out of chicken. But to be fair, they are new, and we arrived fairly close to closing. It was okay also because I loved what I ended up with. The shrimp with veggies and curry soba noodles. The curry is dry and has a great flavor. My husband got the black bean sauce. Though I didn't try it, he said it was very tasty and would be getting it again. Overall the bowl was delicious and had a nice sautéed and grilled flavor. The only downside to the bowls was the oil. There was a pool of it once I got to the bottom. I realize stir fry requires oil but it was a bit much for me and my tummy. I still plan to return though! The service also was excellent. We were greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be the manager or owner and he was very helpful. Explained the menu to us, answered our questions, and quickly took our order. I also was in search for some hot sauce but only for a moment since one of the employees came up to me almost immediately to help when he saw me looking around. Definitely will be back! Wok's Up is located in the new Epps Bridge shopping plaza next to Groove Burger. It was suggested to me by a coworker and I decided to give it a try. The staff were super nice and friendly. They were able to answer any questions I asked. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The food was mediocre. I had a half order of fried cheese wontons as an appetizer. Those are delicious. I made my own bowl with chicken, veggies, Mongolian sauce and soba noodles. The chicken was cooked well. The veggies were fresh and good sized. However, my bowl was underseasoned and overly greasy.
