After taking my first bite my initial thought was 'I will never order this again". I got the pork…read morebelly rice bowl and I absolutely and fully regret eating it. I feel gross and it was such a let down. If y'all know me, you know I'm big on being greeted within the first few seconds of walking into an establishment. The gal didn't say anything to me, just stood at the register waiting for me to order. I asked her what she would recommended between the pork belly bowl or the curry chicken noodle soup and she just said it just depends on if I wanted noodles or rice.. that should Have been my first clue. I hate leaving bad reviews... but this is not my first visit here. The first time I ordered the dumplings with chili sauce, and the older lady was super sweet and it was super delicious. My only qualms were how FILTHY the trash can was and how empty the place was... I was the only customer. It was the same this go around too... no customers, and the trash can was STILL FILTHY!! (And I know they're not busy enough to not get up off their butts and clean!!!) I digress.... The reason I feel grossed out is because the fried egg was barely fried, and there was no seasoning or pizazz to it at all... just a sunny side up on rice and pork belly. The pork belly itself was not fresh. It must have been cooked either earlier in the day or a few days before. I know this because of how the fat in the pork belly tasted. It wasn't cooked well either... there was no crisp to the top part whatsoever and the fatty part.... Well that was the grossest part. It was that gummy slimy texture and that is anything but pleasant. I'm really hoping this place turns itself around.. because I do dig the vibe, but they need to get un lazy and start caring a little more. And I'm not seeing their vision... are they a donut shop.... Hot dog shop... or Asian food...??? I think they would attract more business with a more definitive theme. Like I said, I hate leaving poor reviews, but I'm doing so in hopes they see it. (Oh ya, because calling with a critique is out of the question.... They don't answer their phone!! Tried calling to put in my order). Come Mochinut, do better!!! PLEASE!!!

I'll probably ask for less ice next time. The Caramel Churro Mochinut was excellent!! Service was excellent as well.

This place was very gluten free and…read morevegetarian friendly in my opinion :) I tried the NA wine and she had a mocktail, so also very sober-friendly (thought the cocktails look sooo good) We shared the green beans, Brussels sprouts and japchae- sooooo good We had a reservation, which I'd reccomend :) it was a really nice date spot because you'd feel comfortable dressing up or dressing down - we sat inside but they had outside seating as well. The best part was the mango sticky rice - sooooo good It was really such a special date, I'm so glad she picked Ruby Chow's - I've been wanting to go foreverrrrr Would go again for sure!

I made a reservation for Ruby Chow's based the reviews for my niece's birthday. Overall, we really…read moreenjoyed it. The restaurant is beautiful, red velvet curtains, baroque flowered wallpaper. The service was excellent. They have a very nice wine, cocktail, and mocktail list. I had the purple rain, light and bubbly. My friend enjoyed her gingery King's Ransom. The menu is Chinese and Asian fusion, and a short list of sushi. Chinese is always meant to be shared. We had the miso truffle salmon and each of the steam buns to start. I thought the salmon was very good, I do not normally like capers, but liked the way they prepared them. The katsu was probably the best of the buns, nicely crispy. The tofu was good a well, with a nice kick, the young one in our group found it too spicy. I would not order the short rib again, it was fine, but I've had much better short rib. We then had the chicken satay, roti canai, and the miso cod. The chicken satay had good flavor, and paired well with the peanut sauce and pickles. I did find it a bit too fatty. The miso cod was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was just right. Note that it is a very small portion. The best dish was the roti, a yellow curry with chicken and veggies with two flaky peice of roti. So good. The star of the meal though was the mango sticky rice, with sorbet and small bits of mochi. This is one of the best versions I've ever had. Do not miss this dessert! The issue I had with our visit is we, a group of three, were seated by the door, which was also near the kitchen door. The seating felt cramped, and every few minutes one of the doors was slamming, which made it a less pleasant experience. There were also several other tables open that we could have been seated at instead.

Let me start by saying that, for me, customer service will always come before the food. The…read moreattention to detail and the way you treat your guests never go unnoticed. I want to thank Dave for reaching out and taking the time to understand my concerns about my previous experience. That effort mattered. I recently had the chance to visit again on a Friday evening. It wasn't overly busy, I was seated promptly, and my server was attentive throughout. I tried a few new items along with some of my favorites, including the Korean BBQ Sticky Ribs (hopefully I got that right). This time, I left satisfied with the overall experience, and I felt it was only right to come back and share that update. One thing I will say, Friday evenings seem to be a better fit for me than a midday Saturday visit, especially with how busy the BeltLine can get.

My friends and I embarked on a delicious little tasting adventure, sampling a bit of everything and…read morenot a single bite disappointed. The ribs struck that magical sweet-meets-savory harmony, like a perfectly composed song. The pork bao buns? Pillowy clouds of joy, cradling glossy, sweet glazed pork that practically melted on cue. The dumplings were tiny treasure chests of flavor, so good they didn't even need a dip to shine. And the bibimbap? A layered masterpiece, each bite a new surprise that had me doing a quiet little happy dance in my seat. The ambiance felt light and breezy, with charming wooden booths that invite you to linger... though the seats themselves seem to encourage just a slightly shorter stay. Service, however, was a tale of two moods. Our main server was an absolute gem--warm, attentive, and lovely. But one food runner brought a storm cloud to the table, delivering dishes with an energy that felt more "battle scene" than "dinner service." After one particularly dramatic plate drop, we kindly asked for a different runner. Thankfully, the food worked its magic and kept the overall experience glowing brighter than the brief shadow.
