There's a second room that has more tables. We came for my belated birthday dinner and kind of went ham and ordered a bunch of stuff. Everything was delicious - comforting, tasty, fresh, creative. It's all Asian fusion and it all just works. Some stand outs - enoki fritters, genius. Umami fries - love the shoe string size, fish sauce crust and taste. Creamy udon - a crowd favorite, so comforting. Green beans had a nice tangy taste to it as opposed to the usual garlic green beans. Parking can be tough, just street parking. Lots of good stuff around Kuma too!

I stumbled upon it while scrolling through Google Maps and I'm so glad I went. All the dishes were delicious, and I was so pleased by the genuinely unique options. We got the banh mi smash burger, umami fries, Laos style street tacos, and the kho kho udon. Our favorites were for sure the banh mi smash burger and umami fries. I really liked that the fusion dishes were well balanced and that they truly felt like a fusion between two types of food instead of a discordant combination of flavors. The restaurant is deceptively small, but there's plenty of seating in the back room. The servers were friendly and did their best to serve us as soon as possible. If you can find parking, I'd highly recommend trying out Kuma!

We knew we wanted Chinese food so we made a point of trying more than 15 places before choosing here. The food was so fresh and delicious. We ordered several trays of food for the event along with other Western catered food. At the end of the event, the food from Asian Kitchen was completely gone while we still had other catered food left over. It was clearly a hit. So much so that one of the attendees ended up ordering catering from here for one of their events and we are also ordering catering from them for another upcoming event. We have been so impressed with the quality that we have made special trips out to Asian Kitchen to eat and we live more than 45min away. It has been fantastic every time. Check out the Orange Chicken. It is one of the best we've ever had. That said, everything we've had has been amazing so I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. :)

I ordered the Szechuan Beef with won ton soup and fried rice. 12.95! Real rare find in Seattle now and hard to find a lunch special combo at all. It's also nice to have the won ton soup option. It just has 2 wontons broth and scallion but was good. And a really good veg egg roll! The Szechuan beef was very good and pretty good size. Not entirely authentic Szechuan but I would order it every time. It needed a little chili sauce per my tastes. Service was quick with family operators and grandpa was my water and food runner. Their menu looks pretty good and reasonable pricing so we are going to try this for dinner sometime.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, and even though their kitchen was backed up with orders, they did their best to serve us quickly and the food was still top notch. The marine-like atmosphere was also fun and made dinner really casual and enjoyable. We got some of the best sellers, the bo la lot, the ma la beef cheek noodles, and the Hokkien wok noodles, and they were all a hit. I enjoyed the different Asian-fusion dishes they had from different cultures as well as their wide selection of drinks. The dishes were all very rich and flavorful, and you get a good amount to share for the price. It was the perfect place to eat while chatting and catching up with a friend. Our waitress (her name wasn't on the receipt) was outstanding....super friendly and patient with all of our questions regarding the menu.

We were glad to dine here on a cold, rainy day, as they had noodle soup to warm us up. Sen Noodle Bar is located on a popular street in Ballard, so is easy to find with street parking around. In particular, we dined here after visiting the Nordic Museum, which was a short walk down the street. On a Thursday night, the place wasn't busy, with just a few patrons dining in. My partner ordered the suki talay while I had the coconut turmeric noodle soup with chicken. It didn't take long for our bowls to be out, and everything was solid. My coconut turmeric noodle soup with chicken was flavorful, and liked the bean sprouts for some crunch with the liquid and tender chicken. I also love turmeric, so was glad that this was the base of the dish along with the coconut. Overall, if you're looking for some southeast Asian noodle dishes then Sen Noodle Bar has you covered, along with local taps, appetizers, friendly staff in a fun setting where the string lights shine in every color inside all year round. Solid stuff.

Even though it was past the prime lunch rush, there was a tiny wait--but we were seated quickly. The place is deceptively spacious and super comfortable. Our server was an absolute sweetheart. She did accidentally ghost our request for hot water, but honestly, with the deal we stumbled into, she's completely forgiven! Turns out, they're celebrating their 15th anniversary with a special menu: $15 bowls and $5 drinks! Talk about perfect timing. We ordered the Beef Pho and the Grilled Chicken Vermicelli from the anniversary menu. The pho broth had that deeply comforting, "hug-in-a-bowl" flavor, and the meat was incredibly tender. The vermicelli was just as impressive--perfectly grilled chicken and a great mix of fresh veggies. Delicious food, amazing prices, and great vibes. I'll definitely be back (and I'll remember to bring my parking luck with me)!

My husband and I were staying in a hotel nearby, and it was convenient to walk to. I thought we might get turned away because it was 20-30 minutes before closing, and to our surprise, my husband and I were quickly seated. I wanted to try a Vietnamese plant based coffee drink, but the waiter explained that it was really strong, so I thought it best not to try caffeine late in the evening. I ordered from the vegan menu, and my husband ordered from the other menu. Vegan side has a separate menu and ordering area for to go orders, but when eating in, you have the option of both menus (restaurants). As a result of two restaurants in the same space, there's reviews for both places which makes it confusing. Service was good. Food came out fairly quickly. I had the tamarind vegan soup, and my husband had the non-vegan tamarind soup. The food was good. Are you confused yet? Keep along, :) it's a plant based restaurant and a non-plant based restaurant sharing the same space, but each has a different kitchen for preparation, ordering, and cooking. The plant based is mostly takeout as there's a takeout spot for that, but when dining in, you can order from either menu. This review covers both places.

So, the Asian in us ordered all the expensive noodle dishes. I was a BIG fan of the Garlic Shrimp Noodles (hell, you have shrimp and garlic in a dish - can't go wrong), but the Lime Leaf Pork Rice Noodle fell flat because it was trying to be both a Pad Thai and Pho, and that didn't work out. All the other noods fell somewhere between those 2 dishes. My main feedback for Baguus is to make dishes that are more classic instead of creating a hybrid dish out of the OG ones. I'm thinking of Pad Thai and Beef Chow Fun. We also got the Balloon Pancake which had an amazing curry dip (that I took home and ate over white rice afterwards) and solid chicken wings. For dessert, I will say that the Triple Coconut Panna Cotta and some other dish with kuromitsu (Japanese black sugar) was pretty good, so def save room to try some of their desserts at the end. There's also a beer wall if you feel like partaking. My friends and I were too health conscious to, so we just stared at that wall without dispensing alcohol out of it.
