Chicken with garlic sauce, pork fried rice.
Sergio B.

Not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but DEFINITELY the best in the area. I got the L5 lunch special - chicken with garlic sauce and I substituted the egg roll for crab Rangoons. The food was very fresh and hit when I got it. Normally when I get this from other Chinese restaurants it's very greasy, but it wasn't this time. The garlic sauce had a small kick (spice) but it wasn't spicy for me at all - I do have a high spice tolerance though so it might be spicy for others. Lunch costed me around $9 which included the extra fee I paid for the substitution. Definitely worth it overall. Can't wait to go back and try something else next time!

After buying a Christmas Tree and spending 2 hours putting lights on it I lost track of time and forgot about dinner. So I just placed my first order at Wok n' Roll after living 5 miles away for 12 years! I was pleasantly surprised...food was very tasty! We ordered basics; House Special Fried Rice, House Special Egg Foo Young and some Dinner Combo Plates that included Teriyaki Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Fingers and Pork Fried Rice. It took exactly one hour from order to delivery...not too bad. The driver was very pleasant and the whole family enjoyed what they ordered. We'll definitely try some more of their offerings on another night soon.

There are many things on this menu I'd avoid at all costs. I know our options are limited out here, but I'm not trying to get sick.

I think this is one of the best Chinese restaurant around this area. Besides going to Lowell or Boston it's great.

Middle of the road, typical Chinese place. Have had worse and have had better. Take out has been very fast the two times I've ordered it.

I have been to this place a few times. Not a fan of the chicken wings. The chicken fingers on the other hand were really good.

Sushi-forward pan-Asian eatery right in the center of town on Main Street. Decent atmosphere (more…read morebistro yearnings than a "joint"), friendly service, and just-okay food if not getting sushi. First visit in a few years: -- Salt and Pepper Wings: Small, fried, seasoned, and unsauced, with jalapeños and such for assistance. Decent tenderness and moistness, but light on flavor without the jalapeño and a little bland despite the name. -- General Tso Wings: One fewer wing, but much larger ones, with a sweet, thick sauce, good crunch, and decent moisture underneath. No heat to counter the sweet, but that's the case for most General Gao or Tso these days. Still very solid. -- Teriyaki Salmon: Lunch special with choice of salad or soup, choice of Rangoons or gyoza, and choice of white or fried rice. The salmon itself was sensible of size, but dry inside and topped with a gloppy sweet sauce that helped the dryness but not the cause. The gyoza were small and most likely frozen. Overall, seems like going to an Olive Garden that happens to be serving Asian cuisine. I've been a few times before, with similar thoughts (and half the coworkers I've gone with agree, and half love it). Pleasant enough, and easy street parking, but I don't see myself rushing back. Maybe sushi is the way to go.

Mixed bag with highs and lows. -- Hot and Sour Soup (on a lunch combo): Pleasing rendition, with many mushroom types, a just-thick-enough broth, and some mini bits of red pepper in addition to liquid heat. Above average. -- Magnolia Special Chicken Wings: Big plate of wings in a dark sauce combining sweet, heat, and a bit of sour, but not to be mistaken for sweet and sour. Outside, not much crispness. Inside, not much tenderness, and barely moist (forget juicy), but nice marinade flavor deep down. Above average to well above average, but previously elite. -- Pork Egg Foo Yong (on a lunch combo): Two naked patties/omelettes with thick brown gravy on the side. Exterior not crisp, but firm. Interior perfectly tender with a profusion of large chunked onions and tasty pork, and fairly fresh pork at that. Good flavor to the gravy-- served as a big bowl with no monkey dish or spoon. Near-elite. -- Pork Fried Rice (on a lunch combo): Fresh and nice texture but subtle of flavor and not old school style. Decent amount of pork. Rice-a-Roni flavor. Average to slightly above. (Yes, maybe slightly above. Rice-a-Roni has its place.) -- Chicken Fingers (on a lunch combo): Standard issue with the usual low meat-to-batter ratio. Nothing noteworthy on the positive or negative side. Average. Servicewise, I felt ignored the entire meal. Had to grab my own napkins off another table. Hoped for a chance at a water refill that came too late. Long wait for the check. Nothing rude, but not present, alert, or efficient.

My family has had a few meals from Panda Wok since they opened, and I was especially happy when…read morethey implemented Online Ordering. Their food has been fresh, and flavorful -- and in the area, consistently good Chinese food can be hard to find. Unfortunately, we need to resume cycling through other area Chinese restaurants as the situation I am going to describe below has happened on more than one occasion. Fortunately, special food preparation requests I make are not due to any severe allergies or special dietary requirements -- they are really just about personal preference. I totally understand that this is a "first world problem", and nothing to lose sleep over. But I am sharing this for those of you that MAY have medically necessary dietary requests/severe allergies, etc. My order: 1 large Wonton Soup 1 Moo Goo Gai Pan 1 General Tsao's chicken (NO Veggies please) 1 Roast Pork Fried Rice (NO Veggies/Onions, only Roast Pork and Egg). 3 Steak Teriyaki 1 Bottle of Diet Coke Hot Mustard Duck Sauce Ginger Soy Sauce I was pleased to see that the General Tsao's chicken for my son had no veggies, as requested. Unfortunately, the Roast Pork Fried Rice had MORE than enough vegetables for both the General Tsao's AND the Fried Rice combined -- so two family members would not eat -- and it was specifically ordered for their lunches only. The Diet Coke I received was a 16oz Bottle and NOT a typical 20oz Bottle. I probably should not have assumed that a $3.00 of Diet Coke would be 20oz, so that's my bad. But 16oz bottles are not packaged for individual sale and at $3.00 it quite a bit of markup. Mistakes happen, no big deal - but when one does an online order AND leave a generous gratuity for whomever coordinates getting the order to the kitchen and to the counter, I would expect that the order would be double-checked/confirmed to be accurate. When I arrived today at the typical lunchtime (12:30pm EST), my order appeared to be the only Take Out order waiting to be picked up, and the dining room and bar were not crowded. So while honest mistakes happen, as I mentioned -- it's clear that someone was able to see/accommodate the special request for the General Tsao's, they should have accommodated the fried rice request or contacted me to see if I still wanted it. The food I had (no special requests for mine) was fresh and delicious. My finicky vegetable and onion hating folks won't eat the rice and turned their nose up at the 16oz bottle of Diet Coke (which they have always done, saying the taste of the soda between the two bottle sizes just isn't the same -- no idea if that's true but they swear it is). Special Dietary Requests? Make sure you either Call and/or triple check before you leave the restaurant so you don't get all the way back to your house (a different town) before you find out and have some hungry, disappointed folks to deal with.
