Rice with 3 sauces (soy, vinegar and chilli)

Ordered Singapore Noodles and Gravy Manchurian(with plain rice), both were good in taste. Manchurian balls still need to be in gravy for some time to get the gravy in them, but no complaints. Packing was good to avoid leakage. Service was quick.

I was looking for Indo Chinese in the area and this place came up! This is one under rated place for indo Chinese-Loved their chicken corn soup Chicken chow Mein/Chicken tikka- Everything was freshly made, and service was good and attentive. Would love to go back!

I'll start off by saying this is not your typical Indian or Asian restaurant. This is a very specific Indian/Chinese fusion called "indo-Chinese." That being said, if you like this flavor or what to try it this place has unbelievably good indo-Chinese food at a great price. I have yet to find a better indo-Chinese spot in the city and trust me I've tried! The absolutely best part is the momos, the veggie ones are huge and stuffed with so much paneer and veggies with great flavors and great dipping sauce. I've ordered take out from here multiple times and it's shocking how good it tastes because i feel that take out usually ruins the quality of food, but not the case for this food. My favorite things are the tibetian momo, Hakka noodle, and the chilli garlic noodle. The braised tofu had a very Manchurian like sauce. I've gone in person once and the service was really nice, the waiters are very sweet and friendly. The ambiance however is average, the building doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside has nice tiled ceiling to give a "cloud" feeling. But It's definitely not the "fine dining" by any means. Bottom line- The food is SO good, this place needs more hype! Ubereats has great buy one get one free noodle deals so I'm going to continue ordering from here forever.

This was my first time trying an indo Chinese place in the states and it's pretty comparable to places in India! Got the classic indo Chinese dishes: - gobi Manchurian - chili chicken - Hakka noodles Also got the tandoori momos which were very good!! Went on a weekday for an early dinner and it wasn't crowded. Prices were good for the amount of food we got, under $15 a person!

The flavors pack a punch here at this Indo-Chinese restaurant with a charming name located in the heart of curry hill. As with many restaurants in the neighborhood, this seems to mostly be a takeout operation. Despite this, they've actually invested in the interior with a sky blue ceiling and reflective cherry blossoms which make you feel like you're immersed in some LED lit garden, and I mean that in the best way. I chose to dine here and while our server was taciturn and responded to all my questions about the food with a dismissive "ah, it's good, just order it," the food spoke for itself. I actually found the lack of fanfare from our server quite endearing. Here's a breakdown of the dishes I ordered: Fish pakora- White fish with light breading and a tasty seasoning. The fish was fresh and plentiful, and the sliced red onion gave it just a hint of aromatic allium flavor. chiangmai noodles- these turned out to just be sauteed instant noodles with vegetables. They were definitely tasty, but I felt cheated ordering something I could've made in 5 minutes at home, and when I asked our server what this dish was before I ordered it, I didnt get any explanation. Again, they just said "it's good, order it." coriander shrimp- This was very saucy and aromatic, filled with cooked peppers and large pieces of shrimp. It had a nice amount of heat on it and paired well with white rice. The menu is extensive and evidently the chefs know a thing or two about flavor, so if you don't know what the dishes are and don't mind rolling the dice, you may come away with a surprisingly satisfying spread.

I loved the creative fusion food here. I had sweet corn soup, vegetable chili momos, gobi manchurian, soya banh mi, and vegetable American chop suey. My favorite dish was the vegetable momos - the dumplings were crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor with just the right amount of heat. I also really enjoyed the banh mi - the bread was soft and fresh, the soya was perfectly chewy, and the sauce inside was flavorful. The other dishes were also decent. This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit.

Came in an hour before close and it was pretty empty on the inside (which is a shame because it's nice in there) but there tons of orders for delivery being picked up. It was also nice they serve beer along with a frozen glass. The food was excellent and the medium spice level was exactly what we were hoping for (enough to excite your palate but not enough to make you sweat)! The chili garlic noodles were packed with flavor and the hakka noodles were pretty good too!

However, we never really got to it, having been busy exploring the Semmas and Bungalows of the city. On a cold Saturday evening my partner and I decided to give Indian Accent a shot - got rather last minute reservations over the phone. They were kind enough to accommodate us for a 7 pm slot, and once we got there we were seated immediately. We chose the four course menu, and found each course to be better than the one before! The shorba (soup) and garlic kulcha amuse bouche was a nice touch to get things started - loved the tiny terracotta mugs. Proceeded onto the shakarkandi chaat and the chilly pork roti - the former reminding me of the delectable street food in Delhi winters with the latter being a very good Indian rif on birria tacos. The star of the show for me was the Tofu medu vada - so unique and flavorful and melt in the mouth! I've not had anything quite like it before. My partner had the wagyu kebab that he said was excellent! For mains we had the chicken malai and the paneer - both tasty, but by this point we were already so full, and had to get most of the mains to go. But because there's always room for dessert, for our final course we scarfed down doda barfi with ice-cream and sticky toffee banana pudding - both of which were finger licking delish! Our service was great too - Ty our server was so nice and had the best recommendations. I'd have never gone for the tofu medu vada among all the other options and he urged me to, and it really turned out to be the highlight of my meal. The cocktails were good too. All in all, I think this is such a nice upscale Indian dining spot for a night out in the city. Having tried most of the other trending newer spots, i think Indian Accent sits right among the top! I'd highly recommend and cannot wait to be back!

I believe there are other Indian Accent locations in India, and was excited to try their NYC spot. We went on a weekend evening around 5pm and had a really enjoyable experience overall. Nice ambiance inside, didn't feel overly packed where we were sitting. Service was great for the most part. Shane, our main server, stood out and he was SUPER helpful in walking us through the menu and making thoughtful suggestions. That said, it's definitely a team-service setup, so multiple staff members will assist your table throughout the meal. Everyone had great energy and made the experience feel polished. We did the prix fixe menu and went with 3 courses each across our group of 3. Two of us opted for the "midis" and one went for dessert, but we ended up sharing everything. Even though the portions initially seem small, we were surprisingly full by the end. One important note: go into this with an open mindset. This is not your typical, "generic" Indian food experience - it's much more modern, creative, and experimental. We did a lot of research before deciding what to order, so here's what we got/ordered: Amuse bouche (complimentary): A pumpkin shorba (soup) served in a cute little cup and blue cheese naan. Both were a great start, and we actually asked for more of the shorba. They said they'd bring it, but it never came, which was a bit disappointing, but still appreciated the palate cleanser concept. Appetizers (ordered 3): * Phulka jackfruit: Kind of like a taco - really nice flavor with these crispies on it and a nice sauce. * Kashmiri morel mushrooms: I'm not usually a mushroom person, but this was excellent. Loved the creamy base and overall flavor. * Potato sphere chaat: Probably the weakest of the three. It was more sev than potato, and didn't quite hit for me. Midis (ordered 2): * Yogurt kebab: Very interesting texture with a nice chutney base * Sweet pickle pork: I didn't personally try it, but the other two in my group loved it Mains (ordered 3): * Sweet corn vadai: Really unique and flavorful - one of the standouts * Paneer kofta: Not my favorite; different from what I expected * Chicken tikka meatballs: Surprisingly good! I don't usually love meatballs, but these had a great texture and flavor Accompaniments (ordered 3): * Butter chicken kulcha: Easily my favorite - would come back just for this, but note it can be a little "greasy" * Daal with black garlic naan: The naan was unique with a slightly sweet taste; the daal could've used a bit more depth * Chana masala kulcha: A little spicy but still very flavorful Dessert (ordered 1 + 1 complimentary): * Banana sticky date cake: A lovely, satisfying end to the meal * Makhan malai (complimentary for a birthday in our group): Very airy and unique texture - not really for us personally, but appreciate the team supporting our birthday celebration We skipped drinks even though the menu is extensive - we wanted to focus on the food Overall, I really liked this place. The dishes were a mix - nothing was outright bad (except maybe the makhan malai for our taste), but not everything was a hit either. Still, it's a fun, elevated dining experience with creative takes on Indian cuisine. I'd definitely go back, especially for the butter chicken kulcha. Only real miss was the forgotten re-order of the amuse bouche, but otherwise service and vibes were strong.

A little corner of London magic right here in Hell's Kitchen!…read more If you've ever stood on a rainy London street, desperate for a bowl of proper Northern Indian food, you can stop romanticizing -- Jaz Indian Cuisine on Hell's Kitchen has that exact magic, and it's right here in Manhattan. The star of the show is Jaz herself -- the owner, hostess, and bartender all rolled into one wonderfully warm, charming British woman who somehow makes you feel like you've been a regular for years within thirty seconds of walking through the door. She's the kind of host who remembers how you like your chai and makes the whole room feel like her living room. Now, the food. The Chana Masala is deeply spiced, rich with tomato and chickpeas, the kind of dish that makes you question every mediocre version you've had before. The Saag is silky, fragrant, and genuinely soulful -- spinach that actually tastes like something. And the Onion Kulcha? Pillowy, caramelized, absolutely yummy -- the kind of bread you'll be tearing into long after you're full. The flavors here are the real thing -- bold, layered, and unapologetically authentic. This isn't watered-down, please-everyone Indian food. This is the genuine article, executed with care and a distinctly British-Indian sensibility that you rarely find outside of London. Every dish tastes like someone's nana's recipe, if that nana happened to be a brilliant chef. Do yourself a favor: add some spice to your life and get yourself to Jaz Indian Cuisine.
