We first tried to eat here on a Thursday evening, but when we arrived there was a 25-minute wait if you had not made a reservation. It was raining that day, so we opted to just find another place to eat. The following evening (Friday), we had a bit more time to prepare so we made a reservation with them at 6 p.m. The layout of the restaurant is somewhat unusual. You enter in a small space (which may have had a couple of tables at sidewalk-level, but I'm not sure). You then climb a half-flight of stairs up past a kitchen area to the main dining room. Here they had several tables along each wall extending towards the back, where they had an additional 2 - 3 tables. We sat in the back. If the weather is nice, they may have a couple of tables out on the sidewalk, but again I'm not certain of that. If anyone in your party is disabled, you may have a limited seating option. That wasn't an issue for us, though. Where we sat in the back, we got to watch them prepare the cocktails. The place was busy but our server kept checking on us. Our drinks came out fairly quickly. The entrees took a bit longer, but the timing was still reasonable. I got a noodle dish which was quite good. The portion was reasonable and I finished it. I think both the others in our party got soup-noodle combinations which they also liked. The place appeared to be a family-run business (potentially). The staff managed the crowd well. Though you need to plan ahead a bit, the meal here was worth it. If I were back in Brussels, I'd consider returning here for a meal.

We placed our order on 30 December and had planned on using that food as part of our New Year's eve celebration. When I arrived at 20:50 on 31 December, the lady serving customers asked me if I had ordered from ToGoodToGo. Then some murmuring followed between her and her colleagues busily preparing Sushi in the kitchen. I could not understand what they were saying as they spoke an Asian language. After a few more minutes of making me wait, the lady then informed me that YouSushi could not fulfill the ToGoodToGo order, which they knew of 24 hours in advance of already. I informed her that I had just driven 25 minutes to get to the YouSushi location and asked why she had not cancelled the order well in advance to save me the unnecessary driving and such a poor service experience. Her BS excuse was that she could not know until the last minute if there would be any food left to sell via TooGoodToGo. Clearly, YouSushi does not fully understand that reliable service, fulfilling a customer order and communicating properly with customers applies just as much to TooGoodToGo as to their regular business.
