It took a while for us to get round to trying this place. It seems somewhat uninspired looking at it from the outside and most times quite empty inside.
Initial impressions aside, we opted to go on a Friday night and ended up wishing we'd tried it out earlier. We were delightfully surprised by the quality of the food; everything we ordered was really very good. They do Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, so we stuck to what we know best and went with a bunch of Chinese mains. We were mightily impressed by the tofu hotpot, and very content with the slow cooked beef and braised duck dishes. Overall we were very happy and have vowed to go again to try a few more things. Prices were also very correct.
Service is friendly, which makes up for the look and feel of the place. It is all a bit monotonous but for some rather silly artificial decorations.
It may not look the par but the food speaks volumes in its defense. Well worth a visit. read more
