We first tried to eat here on a Thursday evening, but when we arrived there was a 25-minute wait if you had not made a reservation. It was raining that day, so we opted to just find another place to eat. The following evening (Friday), we had a bit more time to prepare so we made a reservation with them at 6 p.m. The layout of the restaurant is somewhat unusual. You enter in a small space (which may have had a couple of tables at sidewalk-level, but I'm not sure). You then climb a half-flight of stairs up past a kitchen area to the main dining room. Here they had several tables along each wall extending towards the back, where they had an additional 2 - 3 tables. We sat in the back. If the weather is nice, they may have a couple of tables out on the sidewalk, but again I'm not certain of that. If anyone in your party is disabled, you may have a limited seating option. That wasn't an issue for us, though. Where we sat in the back, we got to watch them prepare the cocktails. The place was busy but our server kept checking on us. Our drinks came out fairly quickly. The entrees took a bit longer, but the timing was still reasonable. I got a noodle dish which was quite good. The portion was reasonable and I finished it. I think both the others in our party got soup-noodle combinations which they also liked. The place appeared to be a family-run business (potentially). The staff managed the crowd well. Though you need to plan ahead a bit, the meal here was worth it. If I were back in Brussels, I'd consider returning here for a meal.

So good we ate here twice during our trip…read more 1. The rice paper rolls here are so yummy!! And they have so many flavors/fillings to choose from. 2. Between our two visits, we've tried the peking duck, minced chicken, and beef meatloaf rolls. All of which taste super fresh and flavorful. Our favorite was the peking duck. The pineapple inside is the cherry on top. 3. I also have to comment on their take out packaging. The rolls come in a box and are separated by a sheet of parchment so they don't stick to each other. Each roll has its own sauce pairing, which comes in a cute little container. Really thoughtful imo.

There is a pleasant garden patio outside and some dark indoor seating. The wItress brought me an english menu by chance. I then told the waitrss that i was going to move inside and thats the last i saw of her. Eventually the cashier came by to ask what i ordered so i think she only serves outside. He brought my food but no tea. The food was pleasant, a little spendy for what it was and perhaps good for Brussels Vietnamese. Overall nice people, ok food but spendy. There isnt much in that area.

She order the Miso Tofu Soup and said that it was very tasty. We also ordered the Fried Chicken and the Pumpkin Croquettes Curry. the Curry was very light in typical form and super yummy! Everyone ate all of their food. Now the servers were pleasant to European standards, which meant they let you be and came over when asked. The prices were a little on the pricier side of things but for the tourist area we were in seemed reasonable. The restaurant itself was in a shopping district with lots of great stores nearby. I found it cleaned and comfy, but other than the food nothing to write home about! If you are in the area and would like fast good food, I would give this place shot!

I have been a loyal customer since many many years and the prawn red curry is undeniably one of the best in Brussels. Having said that, my boyfriend finds there are not enough vegetables in the curries. He's not wrong. Again I don't really eat in Thaï restaurants because I find that Thaï restaurant interior designs are usually tacky. But at Les Larmes du Tigre, the deco is alright.
