Homemade lemonade was great! I ordered rice bowl with tofu. Delicious. Edamame was also tasty!

I found this place randomly through Google then checked on Yelp to make sure it has good reviews and did not disappoint. Food is DELICIOUS!!! I got the Prawn Katsu Bao with crunchy fries, it goes so well with a glass of beer. The unique about this burger is the homemade steamed Bao Buns that they use. Pretty cool concept. Baogo is definitely one of the best places that I visited while in Brussels. Until next time!

So yummy! I saw this place as I was roaming Brussels' Christmas market. It was cold and I needed a place to sit and eat (inside). I'm happy I went in here. The staff speak a few different languages including French, Dutch, and English, so it's nice for tourists. There's also a menu in different languages. However, they're not very attentive and stay on their phone the whole time. I had to prompt them to take my order, take away my food, and for the bill even though there was almost no one else in the restaurant. Anyway, on to the food. I ordered the cheeseburger with spicy fries. Wow. Wow. Wow. So much better than I expected! The burger with the house sauce was so good, and the spicy fries were a great addition. A little on the pricy side but I would say this is worth it.

Once I read the description that contained the words burger and baos, the decision was made, must try. We stopped by on a rainy Sunday evening around 9pm. They were breaking down the outside seating area and cleaning, no one was in the restaurant so we thought they were closed. Luckily, two people walked in and got seated, so we followed suit. Their bao sandwiches include burger, fries chicken, pulled pork, veggie, and a couple other options. With the bao sandwich you get a choice of fries (regular, xian (spicy dusting), or sweet potato. There are other side options, but they don't come with the bao. We got the cheeseburger bao and the fried chicken bao, along with the regular and xian fries. The sandwiches, and baos, were full size, not sliders. The burger was a little dry for my taste, but they only cook medium or well here, and I usually get medium rare. The burger had lettuce and onions and tomato and a little sauce on it - it was tasty. The chicken was delicious, the winner in my opinion. The chicken was fried nicely and it was a filling piece of meat also. The toppings of asian slaw (cabbage and possibly Thai pepper), pickled red onion and sriracha mayo compliment the bao very well. The fries were good also! And the way they serve the meal is creative too! They use the bamboo steamer tray as the dish. They have a full bar and plenty of tables inside and out. Overall, great culinary idea and would definitely return to try more.

Close-up of the Korean Chicken Wings. 7 wings... very crispy and tossed in a mildly-spicy "kochu-jang" flavored sauce. I enjoyed!

Can't speak much other than the ambience, service and chicken wings... so, here goes: - Ambience: casual - server/bartender seated me and said, "anywhere," so technically I sat myself. Steamy open-kitchen where the Bao burger makers reside. Surprisingly full bar... but duh, the real $$$ is in the drinks. Had a 50 cl bierre for about 5€. Seems fair for this area. Ambience rating (considering the expectations of an inexpensive burger spot in tourist land central... it's not "nice" but it DESTROYs a McDonald's or Smashburger: 4.5/5 - Service: bartender/server dude asked French or English for the menu. Was as cool as could be desired. Got me a beer fast and was 5/5 for my expectations. Good guy! - Wings: Wings were 8€. Seems high for wings when you only get 7, but then again, I'm in tourist-trap-central (as evident by the street greeters trying to pull me into their restaurants for "Moules Frites"). Wings were hot, crunchy (they're battered... per my photos), flavorful and definitely decent. They're certainly not worth a special trip here, but maybe the Bao Burgers are?? I may never know. Wings rating: 4/5 I'm off to Winehouse Osteria for some legit food... mmmmmmm. Like really good... look it up!

Excellent lunch of two affordable "burgers" (more like shredded meat) with creative toppings on soft bao buns. Each came with Frites and a sauce. My dish had two peppers indicating spiciness next to it, but it had kimchi and two tiny slices of pepper on it- hardly spicy at all, but still delicious. The sweet potato fries were very thick and soft in the middle. This might have been our best meal in Brussels despite being half the cost of the others!

Wow. I don't even know how to explain how outstanding this Panko Chicken Bao was. I do have to admit I chose this place because of it's name, obviously. But the moment I stepped inside the restaurant and ordered the burger, my whole life changed! Haha I've never had a Bao Burger before and I can't believe how long it took me to try it. I still think about it til this day and wish I could go back to Brussels mainly for this restaurant! It was a delicious crispy fried chicken made to perfection with red pickled onions, Asian slaw, coriander, sriracha mayo and chilli and a side of their fries. Also decided to try their Korean Wings with Gochujang sauce and again, I was not disappointed. Everything on their menu sounded phenomenal. Their service was ridiculously fast and super nice to talk to. Even though the restaurant got packed 5-10 minutes after we got in, we still received our order within minutes. It was fantastic! The servers spoke English pretty well so we didn't have any problems with ordering and/or questions we had. I highly recommend going to this restaurant if you ever get a chance; you won't be disappointed.

Burgers on boa buns? I feared the steamed bread would be doughy and too sweet. Baogo take their bao seriously and make it themselves and it shows. The chewiness of the bread goes well with the stringy beef brisket I chose, the sweetness is nicely countered by the lemongrass and ginger, the kimchi and pickled radish deliver the zing. Points for originality and taste! I'll be back for pulled pork fries because how can you not and the Korean chicken wings.

Stumbled upon this place through the touristy streets after leaving Delirium. I was actually looking for a place to eat mussels but this place caught my eye. I love bao buns but have never seen the burger concept. I ordered the prawn katsu bao. It was so delicious!!! Great texture and flavor. I'm only left to hope a place like this would open near me so I can eat it again someday! My husband ordered the beef brisket which was also tasty but the prawn burger is most definitely the best! Each burger comes with fries and their house dipping sauce. Additional sauces are available for order if you'd like. Very reasonably priced at 12 Euro a burger. Staff was very friendly. They're doing great, especially for only opening just 3 weeks ago.

This is a very unique restaurant in the heart of Brussels. Almost every other restaurant on this block is a tourist trap, but this place is not one at all and it's extremely authentic in its own strange way. I did not expect one of the highlights of visiting Brussels would be to discover an Asian fusion restaurant making one-of-a-kind burgers. As you can probably tell from the pictures, this place is known for its burgers that have bao buns. The burgers also have different Chinese and Korean flavors-- for example, one burger has kimchi on it. For people who want something a bit less adventurous, they have really good rice bowls too. While we were here, we had really good service and we had a chat with the server about the restaurant. It turns out it's the only one like it. The chef is Chinese and he handmakes the bao buns on site. I hope this idea catches on in other places because the burgers were delicious. As a Californian, finding an Asian fusion restaurant that was good enough to meet my exacting standards was pretty lucky!

TLDR; the 3 stars is solely for the burger. Food: 2.5 Service: 3 Ambience: 3 Overall: 3 When we walked in, the one guy at the counter greeted us and said we can sit anywhere. We ordered our burgers, the special fries, and specified we wanted tap water cause no one wants to pay for water when Europe prides itself on their clean pipe water systems. Unfortunately, the guy came back with 2 bottles of water that he had already poked a hole in and we ended up paying for it. I'm pretty sure he understood me, but I'll just give him the benefit of the doubt. We ordered the special frites, the pepper burger, and the red velvet burger. Special Frites: the description sounded amazing and with the mindset of Belgium fries in mind, i was ready to be wow'd. It didn't happen, save yourself the euros and don't order this. Maybe get a bottle of water instead. Burgers: They don't come with fries apparently... so just don't order fries. The burgers itself were perfectly cooked and was juicy while flavorful! Won't be coming back to dine in, maybe just a burger for takeaway, if they do that.
