We were craving asian food and couldn't wait to eat here aftet seeing the reviews. We tried the clams and the pho. The clams were a bit too chewy and the sauce wasn't very impressive. The pho was good, but the noodles was a bit chewier than usual and felt like potato noodles more than rice noodles. The wait time was really long. Usually pho doesn't take much time to serve because the broth is usually pre-made. It probably took 20-25 minutes before they were done. As for the service, the man was nice and friendly. The place is very small and it's located near the center of Brussels.

We didn't think our chances of finding a good Vietnamese restaurant or really any Asian restaurant would be that great here in Brussels,Belgium...considering it's famous for its chocolate and waffles not for Pho. But we were lucky to find this small gem in the wall of a Vietnamese restaurant after a busy day of sight seeing. The owner(s) was a sweet Vietnamese woman who welcomed us warmly and she was so sweet and humble when we asked what was her specialty. When she found out we were visiting from California, USA which is obviously known for having many Vietnamese restaurants so she didn't want us to be disappointed, but omg...all the dishes she recommended, from the Pho, Bun bo Hue (the BEST I've had in awhile) egg rolls and Bun with lemon grass beef and egg rolls and Mi Wonton shrimps, was delicious! Came out piping hot and very flavorful!! She was also very sweet and asked if we wanted to try some of the fresh soy milk she just made...Wow...Soooo good!! Taste just like how my mom used to make!! (Now THAT's Saying a lot!!) She even tried to give it to us on the house a long with the eggs rolls bc my dad said he wasn't sure if he would like it and she made us a plate to try first bf ordering but it was delicious!! We Definitely tipped her and her husband for the wonderful meal and service and would recommend this place to anyone coming to visit! If we had more time, we would for sure be coming back!!

Was in Brussels and missing my Vietnamese comfort food so ventured here. I had Bun Bo Hue and was not disappointed. The taste of home and authenticity. Lovely place with so many good dishes which I wish I could try. Feel like the menu is crafted for me. Price is very fair. Highly recommended!

So many people loved the pho here. But for us, the pho was just so-so the first time we visited this place. I have to talk my partner into giving this place another try. This time we ordered caramel pork and Bun. Bun is one of my favorite vietnamese dish. Sweet and sour vietnamese dipping sauce, really fresh taste with a lot vegetables, and roasted peanuts on top.Taste and healthy. It is also really a large portion. I am totally satisfied with one single portion. My girlfriend had a caramel pork. Great taste, would be better if the portion could be larger.

What's more comforting than a bowl of pho? Overall very good. The broth was tasty. They do not use the typical rice noodles... the texture seems to be more of potato noodles. The clams were okay. The sauce they use is very strong in fish sauce, so if you don't like that, avoid! However, when you mix it with the lemon-pepper sauce they give you on the side, it makes the fish sauce taste less strong.

VERY cosy little restaurant, not far from the main centre. Has been the cheapest meal we've had yet, and possibly the nicest, although my large portion of prawn, squid and pork broth contained only one prawn. The flavour was delicious, as was my companions beef pho, and the clams with peanuts provided a beautiful starter. A half litre of tasty wine was reasonably priced, and the whole meal (one starter, 3 mains, wine and bottle of water) was less than €60.

This was my first viet restaurant experience in Belgium. I'm truly disappointed with the food, price and ambiance. The place is very small with about 5 tables with 1 person service. We ordered pho, noodles and it took more than 30 mins for the food to arrive. The taste was mediocre at best or somewhat subpar to other Vietnamese restaurants. I feel sorry that the people of Belgium are giving this place almost a 5 star review on Yelp.

Was craving pho and this did not disappoint! They have "NO CARDS" posted around so be sure to bring some cash. It's a little hole in the wall, but still charming inside- and let's face it, the best places usually are the little gems hidden away in the bustling city!

If I could rate half a star, or none, believe me I would. My friend and I are from Hawaii, and eat…read morephô there quite often. We initially wanted to eat at the place next door, but for whatever reason it was closed. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a woman who I can only assume was the owner. She asked us how many people, I told her 2, she pointed at an open table and we sat down. After browsing through the menu for about 10 minutes, we were ready to order. It took her another 10 or so to stop at our table. The restaurant was busy, but not to the point where she didn't have a spare moment to stop at the Vietnamese and Chinese customers to talk with them...which she did. When I ordered, I pointed to what I wanted (#3 phô with beef balls and tenderloin), and as I flipped to the back where the drinks were located, she slapped my hand and scolded me in French, I'm assuming saying something along the lines of, "I couldn't read it. Wait!" She then flipped the menu back to the page where the phô was listed and wrote down my order. She asked if I wanted a small or big, I told her petite (small). After taking my friend' order, I also asked her for an orange juice, which she brought right away. Probably the only positive thing I can say about this entire experience. We waited patiently for our food, and I noticed that all the other customers who ordered phô had received a plate of fresh vegetables, which is customary, yet I hadn't received anything. When the food finally arrived, my friend politely asked her for more of the hoisin sauce because our bottle was practically empty. She scolded my friend and said that the sauce was only for phô dishes and she would bring more sauce once we used it all. So that's exactly what I did. No surprise she never returned with more sauce or a new bottle. We began eating and as I pulled the meat out of the bowl, I noticed a hair sandwiched between the layers of beef. I was already a few bites in but immediately spit out what was in my mouth and didn't touch the rest of the meal. My friend also commented that her food was mediocre as well. When she finally noticed that, although our bowls were quite full, but we weren't going to eat anymore, she finally brought the check. She had charged me for a large bowl of phô and not a small like I had ordered. At that point, we were just fed up with everything about the entire dining experience and paid exact change just so we could leave as soon as possible. I would NOT recommend his restaurant. I had some kind of rice dish with chicken in it and this tasted like it should have, but bland at the same time. (Yeah, I sometimes like bland food!) This was actually a Vietnamese dish, since the restaurant is both Vietnamese and Chinese. As a starter, we had a spring roll; a cold one, wrapped in something resembling cling film that you wrap your left-overs in. This was pretty tasty though. I should have gotten several of these. The worst thing was that the lady, probably one of the owners but also a waitress, was freakin' rude! I put soy sauce on my food and she yelled at me, telling me I'm not supposed to do that. I told her that when she buys me the dish, then I will eat it the way she wants me to. Also my friend's order was wrong. She's a vegetarian and the noodle dish the lady brought was beef. "Youordered that," she said. "You said number 35 (or whichever number)!" The lady was full of shit because the dish was ordered by its name and not a number. I was hungry and the food filled a hole but don't think I'll be going back there again. Its close to the Bourse and there are loads of Asian restaurants in that area, so there are better ones to choose from. If you're going to be rude to customers and you want them to come back, then your food better be outstanding!
