My friends and I, hailing from the United States, found ourselves exploring France and Belgium. During our time in Brussels, we chanced upon a Vietnamese eatery named PhoLauMi. I must say, this establishment is nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL! The cuisine was not only authentic but also incredibly delicious, compelling us to return the following day. Our first meal included chả giò (egg rolls) accompanied by fish sauce dip as an appetizer, followed by bò lá lớp (betal leaf wrapped beef brochette) and hủ tiếu (flat rice noodles with pork and chicken broth). Each dish was truly remarkable! Additionally, the owner's warm presence made our experience all the more enjoyable as we conversed with her in Vietnamese.
UPDATE:
PhoLauMi was so delightful that my friends and I couldn't resist returning the following day. On our second visit, we ordered two servings of egg rolls, traditional beef pho, wonton egg noodles accompanied by xá xíu or char siu (a Chinese-style barbecued pork), and bánh xèo (crispy rice flour crepe). I must say, PhoLauMi never ceases to amaze. My friends and I wholeheartedly endorse this spot for anyone craving exquisite Vietnamese cuisine. read more
