First time coming here. I've heard good things and had to try (been wanting to). So I ordered 2 combos. The pepper steak and szechuan chicken. I got the wonton soup and steamed dumplings. It also came with 2 egg rolls. The place is a hole in the wall. I love these places. This one is no different. It's not real pretty but don't let that stop you from coming in. The food was OK. The szechuan chicken was good, especially the next day. Egg rolls were also good. In all, the food was good and worth another try. The service was good, a little hard to hear due to masks and partition. So be patient. They are usually pretty fast from order to getting your meal. Enjoy and support local. read more

Tried this place because it was one of the only things open after 9pm on a Sunday. I saw they didn't have very many stars on yelp but decided to skip reading the reviews and try it out anyways. I ordered the home style tofu and it was delicious ! The guy taking my order didn't have much of a personality but it's take out, and that doesn't really bother me. I saw no evidence of anything being dirty or cross contamination. I'd eat here again for sure. read more

I only give them 1 star because there aren't any negative stars. The place is the worst in the world.I think it's a family running the business and they are very dirty. I witnessed the guy in the front counter handling money and food at the same time. I'm not the type of person to ask for money back so, I got the food anyways. Having lived in California for 25 years before retiring to Florida.. we were blessed to live in an a state with some of the best Chinese and Mexican food around.. We have tried so many Chinese restaurants all around Daytona only to be as we expected "disappointed". However.. WOK N ROLL gets a FIVE star rating for FLORIDA Chinese Food and we have been ordering from them for years now.. Their Mu Shu Pork is the BEST in the area served on authentic Japanese Rice pancakes unlike others such as Red Bowl that sent out a Mexican Tortilla on the dish I ordered.. ugh.. Wish WOK N ROLL delivered, but am always greeted with a friendly face and reception from the moment I walk in to pick up my delicious order till I leave. And they KNOW when I call in an order.. that I am the guy who does not like green onions/scallions on my food.. For Florida standards on Chinese take out food.. we have not found better in our area.. Some like Red Bowl Bistro.. but we find them so NON AUTHENTIC for Chinese food like serving you Mu Shu Pork with MEXICAN tortillas (ugh).. but you will get authentic rice pancakes here at Wok N Roll.. read more

When I was recently in the area and in the mood for Chinese food, I figured I'd give Wok & Roll a try.. I really gave it a try. After placing an order I sat down at a table and I was almost killed by the chair (it was falling apart). After practically busting my a** on the floor, I decided that I'd pace while I waited for my order; chicken with mushrooms, steamed dumplings, and soup. Upon receiving my order I noticed that there needs to be a menu correction. The chicken with mushrooms should state - mushrooms with chicken. The downfall - the cashier charged my debit card TWICE. He just kept swiping my card OVER and OVER again until I finally told him to stop. I pulled out my handy dandy smart-phone to see that I had multiple charges for this restaurant already hitting my bank account. The cashier just brushed me off like I was an idiot - what a shame. After this event, I will definitely not return and I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends either. read more

My son and I love Wok & Roll. They are quick, and the food is always hot and fresh. Their won ton soup tastes a lot better than some of the other local Chinese restaurants, and their crab Rangoon and general tso are amazing too. read more

Ignorance is bliss but not always. At my last visit in the summer of 2016 I watched them prepare the foods. One of the cooks went outside and I never saw him change his gloves. I am visiting from Covington GA. I decided to try this joint after passing it and seeing it from the road. I can honestly say it is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Super greasy like the oil was dirty and not at proper temp. My spare rib had to be chewed fir 5 minutes and the shrimp were breaded not battered and served with sweet and sour . That was a disgusting first. Nothing , I mean nothing in my fried rice. Not sure how they stay in business! read more

I been getting carry out since 2007 and my favorite was Beef fried rice, Lo Mein, Chicken and broccoli and General Tso Chicken. The chef was from NYC and it's always yummy and they always made me an authentic flavor for Asian people. read more

I found bugs in soup!! Many bugs!! I am sooooo grossed out. I ate half the soup before realizing how many there were. So I don't actually know how many I ate. People around me seen this. Went here for the first time for lunch today. I checked out their menu online and the lunch special was to include either soup, a can of soda or an egg roll. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which included pork fried rice. When my food came all I got was the "chicken", the rice and a covered bowl of sweet and sour sauce. I put chicken in quotes because what I got was basically fried dough balls with a teeny tiny bit of chicken inside. Didn't get the soda, egg roll or soup. Watched an employee sit at one of the tables and break apart pea pods right in the dining area. Another employee came from behind the counter without washing his hands and also started handling the pea pods. I won't be going back. read more

I live in Ormond and have always gone to Green Tea Chinese Takeout. This is the first time I've been to Wok n Roll. It is more expensive, and the portions are much smaller than I'm used to. At Green Tea, you get almost double the portion for the same price, and I like how Green Tea uses less sauce (but you can ask for more if it's not enough). I ordered the lunch Chicken with broccoli. The food aside, the man at the front counter warmly welcomed me, so the service was good. I also love Green Tea because it has the convenience of a drive-thru. read more
