Costly for the hotel, not necessary to do. Weird needs missed. No place to put towels in bathroom. They were in the bedroom near the windows as far from the bathroom as you could get. Also no place to put soap bar down. There was a tray, but if you put soap in it the paint from the tray got on the soap.

The rooms itself were fine, clean, comfortable blah blah blah. Where we had a problem was the complete lack of security and extremely poor response to a possible threat we had late a night. We returned to our hotel room around 1 am Sunday morning, there was a decent amount of police activity around the hotel and downtown Buffalo. You need a room key card in the elevator to access your floor but that doesn't stop people from getting off the elevator when you do and that's exactly what happened with us. My friends and I were followed by a group of men off the elevators and onto our floor. Clearly we are not a group of idiots so we did not go directly to our room, we passed our room, took a couple of turns and the guys kept following us. Eventually we stopped and I got on the phone to call the front desk and the men walked past us and into the stairwell. It was evident they did not have a room on our floor as they exited into the emergency stairwell. We immediately sprinted into our hotel room and locked the door scared out of our minds and called the front desk. They told us they knew who we were talking about and were on it. They were not on anything. After hours, there should be security especially in a area of Buffalo that has been receiving complaints of criminal activity as of late. These guys were roaming the halls, getting off at floors that guests were giving them access to and nothing, absolutely nothing was done about it. Even after our stay I complained to management about it and received attitude on the phone. This was handled poorly and because of that reason I do not recommend this hotel nor will I ever stay here again.

Even with the mild weather that we were visiting during, the lack of air circulation while gone always made the room uncomfortable to return to, because it was stuffy. Thankfully, it would be cleared up within 20-30 minutes, but being outside all day and wanting to comfortably relax when you return, it kind of puts a damper on that... and I don't really know what kind of savings it presents. It's easy enough for an AC system to maintain 70 degrees when it barely gets above that outside. Anyhow, thanks to the climate, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again! My stay was booked 2 weeks in advance, but I had to find last minute accommodations elsewhere. To make it even worse, they had the audacity to charge me! Nico Vanbito was hostile, rude, belligerent and never returned my calls when I asked for a refund. Avoid this hotel at all cost.
