The sales pitch always makes it sound like the phone is basically free -- just a small monthly payment -- but surprise fees show up on the next bill that were never mentioned. This has happened to me multiple times. Whenever I have questions about my account or billing, they refuse to help and just tell me to call customer service. Other customers waiting in line look just as frustrated as I am. And when people leave negative reviews, the manager always replies with the same generic, copy-and-paste response you see everywhere: "customer service is our top priority", "we have high standards" and "we strive for excellence." It feels completely scripted and changes nothing. Many customers seem to be having the same disappointing experience. Once I find a way to close my line or switch to another carrier, I will do it in a heartbeat.

I continue to be impressed by their installers, their customer support staff, and their ever-improving offerings. Just today, I received a free speed and equipment upgrade, combined with a reduced monthly fee, as part of a company initiative. This continues a long-established pattern of continual improvements, something Valley Internet really seems committed to. Because rural broadband pricing and speed have historically lagged urban& suburban options, I have frequently explored other providers, but every time I ended up keeping this superior service. And my Circle Oaks neighbors seem to agree overwhelmingly.

They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. In Feb 2020, we eliminate our relationship with our old phone service (one of the giants) because the cost was criminal, and the service was poor. FM was very hands-on helpful during implementation, setting up our new equipment, phone queues and autoattendents exactly how we asked. Then in March, the world changed. But our staff adapted immediately, largely thanks to our new FM system. With care-giving staff in the office, and everyone else at home, our internal and external communication continued seamlessly.
