If zero stars were an option, this place would have many. I stopped in for an estimate. Was greeted like I had interrupted a pig at lunchtime. Well I guess I did because I was told very rudely. No, you can't get an estimate it's lunch time. (Then lock you fucking door) I was asked for my email so that i could be sent a link to upload pics of the damage. I never received it. after 2 days I called and requested it be resent. I was told by the same lady I already sent it. No follow up, nothing more. I gave up. Terrible service. read more

This shop has poor communication. My insurance made a payment 4 months ago to them and another abit over a month. They claim wrong parts were sent , then person covering the claim in their shop is out for 2 weeks. So they have had our car and payment for about 4 and a half months and excuses on Everytime we call. I highly suggest looking for a shop with recent positive reviews and check BBB before using this business. read more

I have had no problems with wittmeier. I hear that people say there to pricez. Well I know for a fact everything they do in a oil change would cost a lot more than 80. My boyfriend took his infinity in for damage repairs they estimated around 2000 to 2500 dollars to repair verbally... They never informed me they went ahead and ordered the parts with out me having any say they just did it. They ended up charging his insurance company $6,600! It took a month to complete repairs! He had to continually call for updates When he picked up his car, they did NOT fix the rocker panel and all this was part of the accident .He believes they misinformed his insurance or even forgot to order the rocker panel They NEVER completed his car! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! He wished he would have took it to the body shop in Yuba City and it would have been fixed all the way and his insurance company would have never had to pay 6600...what a joke.... read more

I do NOT recommend Wittmeier Collision Center. Took my car in for an estimate/ repair. I was told I would have to make an appointment for an estimate because technician was not at work that day. Came back a week later for my appointment, technician wasn't there, the receptionist took photos of the car to email to the technician. He said once the technician reviewed the photos he would order the necessary parts. Why couldn't you do that the first time I was there??? I waited 4 weeks and decided to call to see how much longer it was going to take for the parts to arrive. Called and spoke to the technician, he pulled up my file, saw the pictures and said no one told him he needed to order parts. They have been sitting on your computer for the past 4 weeks!!! This business has some major communications issues, Didn't really seem like they put much effort into actually wanting any business. Glad I decided to take my business elsewhere, who knows how long it would have taken to get my car fixed after reading some of the other bad reviews below. read more

Penny and the front desk at Wittmeier Collision dealt with my insurance company, even informing me that my insurance covered a rental car. When a part was delayed, which extended the time needed to finish the repair, they worked hard to get my car back to me as soon as possible. I had a horrible time here. These guys are liars and will try to omit fault for bad things that they do to your car. If you know your car well and take it home after the repairs, make sure to inspect your car for anything that is unusual. After a small repair my car came back looking like frankenstein and the headlights were left a dull yellow. Don't be fooled by the "Wittmeier" name. This place is just a shady collision center. WARNING!!!! Do NOT take your vehicle to this place! I'm new to this town, so when someone broke into my car breaking the back window Allstate recommended this place for repairs. At first they were very kind to me. I dropped my car off last Tuesday 8/29/16 I was told my vehicle would be ready the following day. Well, that day came and when I showed up in was treated as if they had never seen me before. When the adjuster came out he informed me that not only was my car not ready but it wasn't even there. They took it to another location to be fixed. I obviously was not pleased with not being informed they were going to take my car somewhere else, but he assured me my car would be done the next day. Well it wasn't! They would go days without calling me to tell me what's going on, after all it was just a broken window. About 7 days into this nightmare a new adjuster calls me, he informs me the other adjuster "NO longer works for the company" and he was taking over my repair. He then tells me my other window doesn't work (take in mind it worked fine when I dropped it off, I only had 1 broken window not 2) he says "the wiring has been severed from being worn out... (my car is a 2004) and it'll cost me $1,000 out of pocket to fix. I told him no that window was fine 7 days ago when I left it in their care. Now it's today.. 9/9/16 and I finally get my car back, 11 days to fix a broken window. Oh yeah... turns out those "severed wires" were just fine and didn't need replacing after all! I really want to know how they manage to get my MPH down to 6.9 when it was at 23.5 11 days ago when I dropped it of?? I just pray they didn't create more damage to my car. I'll get a better inspection in the morning when the sun comes up. (Sorry for rambling, but I'm still so heated over this horrible experience. DO NOT take your car here. I took my vehicle in for a hit and run incident I was involved in, and my rear bumper, exhaust system, and a few other components were damaged. Let me start off by saying that Wittmeier Collision Center is definitely way too good at fooling people. They estimated me a week and a half, with parts being ordered the same day I took my vehicle in, etc... well I got it back over 3 and a half weeks later! If it wasn't for my car having an app, I don't know what I would've done. I was lied to MULTIPLE times about the work being done, parts being ordered, the location of my vehicle, you name it! There was no communication what so ever, I had to call every few days and have them sound annoyed even mentioning my car. Why? Well because my car was located somewhere other than the collision center, and I once again, was NOT informed even though they swore up and down that I would know every little step. Oh, and not to mention the surprise visit I made... Shocking enough I was lied to about a part that was already there, in which the previous day I had called and they said it would "take a week" to get to their shop. One day I received a phone call from the agent in charge of working on my car, and was directly told that if their shop mechanic didn't meet me the day of the surprise visit, he wouldn't put a damaged faulty part on my vehicle "if I wasn't such a cool guy". Their words exactly. So please, if you have a car that you enjoy and don't feel like having it back for a month.. DO NOT take it to Wittmeier. read more

I needed a minor repair. I dropped by Wittmeier two days ago for an estimate. It was quick and easy. I paid for the part needed to complete my repair and Mike, my estimator, told me that he would call to schedule my repair once the part was in. He called the very next day and was able to get my car in today. From my first contact with Wittmeier until my completed repair was TWO days! Everybody was friendly and efficient. They even washed my car upon completion of their work. I am impressed with everyone I worked with at Wittmeier and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Wow. This place deserves five stars and then some. When I had a choice of collision repair places in Chico, I didn't have any idea where to start. I visited the place on Park Ave but they seemed very disorganized and overwhelmed so I went with Wittmeier instead. I'm SO glad I ended up with Wittmeier! The secretary went way beyond expected service and arranged a rental car pick up, gave me a phone number for a local locksmith (I had lost my car keys the night before it was due to be dropped off) and called me back on time, every time she said she would. On top of great office service, the repair guys fixed an existing dent free of charge and completely cleaned my car. Like, detailed it. So awesome! read more

Best Dealership that offers collision repair. Not only do they fix what insurance covers, they have techs that go above and beyond and will actually fix extras at no charge. I figure this is because they care about what their work looks like as an end product! I also love that I don't have to get aftermarket parts because they are the dealership and can ger factory parts at the same price as aftermarket or even less. My GMC at a different location was told to use aftermarket and Wittmeier was able to get factory and it saved me $200.00~ factory parts actually cost me less. Highly recommended and if you want above and beyond work you should give them a try! read more

Do NOT take your car her. Brought my small SUV in under an insurance claim. Took them 2 extra weeks to fix it because they ordered the wrong hood then dropped and broke the grill. When I got it back there was stuff hanging from the engine, the bumper didn't fit properly, there was a clinking sound when I rolled down the window, the door locks on the passenger door didn't work and it still had the same license plate frame that was smashed up from the accident. There was little to no accountability taken on their part or any kind of token or apology to show they were sorry for the horrible repair job. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else!! read more

Oh how I wish I could give a rating of ZERO stars... sadly I have to give one. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO WITTMEIER!! I took my car here to be repaired (I was rear ended and needed quite a bit of work) and the work took three times as long as they told me when I dropped it off. I'm not that high maintenance, I could have forgiven the slowness (it turns out that they accidentally disconnected a wire they didn't mean to and had to tow it to the dealer to fix it, then tried to CHARGE ME for THEIR MISTAKE). The biggest problem I had with them is that they do not check their work after they complete it! When I turned on my turn signal as I was driving home from the repair shop it didn't work. No, the bulb wasn't burned out, THEY HADN'T PUT ONE IN!! Obviously they would have found a missing bulb had they checked to see if their work was successful. So they replaced it. Two days later it rained... I tuned on the rear windshield wiper, it was pointing the wrong way. It did a great job of cleaning up the tailgate, rear windshield not as fortunate. Took it back again. They fixed it once again. Goodness knows why I was surprised that the next day my keyless entry didn't work on the rear door. I took it back (yes, for the third time), and they never figured out how to fix it. Left it overnight for them to work on, they still couldn't figure it out. I took my car home in frustration. It has never worked right. Well, now you've been warned! Find a place that will actually repair your car. read more

I scheduled to take my car in for simple repairs. It took over a month to get it back and when I did my display screen didn't work properly (it was working after the accident but not when I got it back), and the back window leaks when it rains. Getting in touch with them was never easy and service was not always friendly. My girlfriend got in an accident after me and took her car to a different body shop in town where she got her car back before me and with better service. read more

I got in an accident in the middle of June, my car was not ready for 5 weeks! This wasn't because of the damage to the car but because they wanted to order parts from some rinky dink place instead of going straight to the dealer themselves. I was told it'd be ready after a month, well the deadline, because of this part made it unavailable for 5 weeks. Not only did they take forever but they neglected to update me. I had to call several times to check the status of my car. And that was when Mike mentioned that it would be an additional week, so not only did he say he'd call and didn't but it wasn't until Friday when my car was "supposed to be ready" that he decided he'd tell me it would be another week. This shop is not worth the time. Due to needing an extra week my rental car had to come completely out of pocket because the insurance company only covers up to 30 days. Wittmeier not only owes me a $240 check but it's now been a week and they still haven't called me for payment because the check is not "ready". How is it not ready? It's coming from their pockets, for their mistakes! Overall it was not worth the $100 discount the insurance company gave me because it was a preferred shop. Don't go here! Jeff Koester helped me when I had to take my car in. I wish I would've listened to my gut feeling and not gone there. Jeff talked down on me from the minute I got there and talked to me as if I knew nothing. I never gave him the "ok" to fix my car and when I got it back, it was filthy inside and out. There was even water marks all over my car (which still don't come off my brand new car.) They used all cheap parts and he never once called me to tell me what was going on, even though I signed the paper saying I wanted updates. I will never use this company again. read more
