Great job by Israel and the team. 20 yo old car to fix up after a deer hit. Tough consumer - me. Long engagement - almost 10 months total because of challenges. They worked through finding all the parts that were needed despite being no longer manufactured. Called to see if they would replace the side mirror. I have the new assembly already and needed someone to install it. They told me they do NOT install customer supplied parts. Apparently it is there policy. I have never been to any shop that will not install parts that I bring in. Worst shop because of this and they just lost my business and won't make any money now for the labor I would have provided them. read more

Repaired only what you could see and left mounting brackets broken. Left everything that the headlights and grill mount to broken. Attached the grill only at the top because they could not mount it to all the broken stuff that they were paid to fix but did not. Customer service was very poor was told I could pick up my truck when I arrived I was told it was not ready today and was asked to come back 3 days later. After I picked up my truck is when I found out it had not had everything fixed. When I returned to inform them that the truck was not fixed. I was told by one of the workers that it usually take a couple of visits to get a car fully repaired. I did not have the rest of the repairs done at here. As one experience here will make you run never again will I take anything here for work. read more

After being involved in a t-bone vehicle accident, I started doing research on local auto body shops and reading reviews. I read positive comments on Yelp and decided to take my vehicle to Fix Auto Chico for an estimate. The staff working in the office was reluctant to acknowledge me and was extremely rude and unprofessional after doing so. Maybe I caught all three of the people at a bad time or were just having a bad day, never the less, customers shouldn't be treated this way when running a business. Due to the initial negative experience, I decided to take my business elsewhere as there are many other high-quality auto body shops with similar reviews in the area. read more

Repairs were quick, less than a week. Shows in the quality. It seems like they cut ever corner they could to reach that speed. I hit a cone on the freeway, trashed my bumper skirt and the driver's side skid plate. Bumper skirt wasn't too bad, but the skid plate basically disintegrated on my Mazda 6s before I made it to the shop. Well, the bumper is the right color and the paint seems ok so far (More about that following, based on a friend's experience.) I received a call after I brought it in, they had ordered the wrong skid plate for my model and they have to wait for the re-order. This is ok, the sport package on my model isn't very common. The issue here is, even after the re-order, my car does not have a correct new skid plate. They also did not replace the bumper bracket whose clips had broken. I discovered these doing a headlight bulb exchange soon after the repairs. The easiest way to change my headlight bulbs is to remove the bumper skirt and the headlight housing assembly. This procedure includes removing bolts holding the wheel well liner, grille insert and the skid plates to the bumper skirt. When I got underneath my car, I discovered that the skid plate on ONLY the driver's side was covered in tar. Bumper, plate, bolts and all. NO sign of tar on the passenger side or in the driver wheel well. Once I get all of the bolts out the bumper slides right out of the driver side, where my broken bracket was hidden. Removal of the bumper skirt showed me that the joke of a replacement skid plate was simply the remnants of my disintegrated skid plate tarred to a cut section of a different skid plate. What a joke. Statement says nothing about having an alignment preformed when I clearly state that it needs checked, as I ran over a cone, possibly with the wheel or suspension. They worked well with Esurancne, except they "lost the check" until I repeatedly insisted my claims representative said it was mailed to the shop "a week ago," which she had. That's my experience. I had a friend come in for door replacement and work to the unibody & b-pillar on a Focus. Paint on the non-door repairs "orange peeled" in less than 3 months, a sign of hasty work and lack of attention. I don't know of any other issues first hand, but I saw this paint debacle myself, before and after. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

They had the best price to have the work done, which I was very concerned about as insurance didn't cover it, did it in record time, and even touched up a small ding on the door that I asked them to check out and waxed the roof that was getting sun damaged (at no extra charge. This is the second time they've worked on my cars and both times they've done excellent work. read more

After my car was hit and dealing with insurance, I was told that Fix Auto would be contacting me, but after waiting a few days I decided to call to expedite the process and make my appointment. No big deal, I get that things can fall through the cracks. However, the receptionist that answered the phone acted like I was simply a nuisance for calling. She incessantly interjected as I was speaking and trying to explain the situation, made me feel stupid for not knowing their policy of "just bring your car in," and reluctant to even want to take me on as a customer.
