It's not my favorite RV park, but it's better than most and works pretty well for our needs. The RV Park is right next to the main highway coming into town that can get pretty busy at times, hence, noise. It seems like the park has gone downhill a little. The sewer hook up for my site was broken. I managed dumping our tanks without making a mess, but it should have been repaired. The WiFi is next to useless. Cell coverage for Verizon was pretty bad too. But Silver Spur is really the only game in town. It is nice to be very close to the main town of Silverton, which has a nice brewery and tap house, along with nice shops. It's about a mile away from The Oregon Gardens, which is a true gem that must be visited. Mount Angel (with Abby, sausage company, and brewery) is about 6 miles away and Vitis Winery is also close by. Silver Falls State Campground and Park is about a half hour away, but it's almost impossible to get a site there during the summer season. I understand they do have hook ups. That park's trails and waterfalls are also a must. Silver Spur park has gravel roadways and sites. It has full hook ups (electricity a must for air conditioning on 102 degree days with 70% humidity), a swimming pool and jacuzzi, nice club house with game room - pool table, foosball, TV, etc.,laundry area, dog area, kid play area, and propane refill. They'll drive a cart to your spot to pick up your 6 gallon tanks to refill them for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in is Smooth.

Cars parked on the grass area where they're not supposed to; but OTE personnel said they'll let them just to keep everyone happy; as long as they stay out of the freeway. Thanks for being considerate on this one in a lifetime event! Free coffee at the office (they have a donation jar if you like to donate, though). Bathrooms are clean. Trash is collected on a regular basis. I guess they really expected the influx of eclipse watchers and they stay on top of it!

Then I retired and in September of 2024, I made it my full-time home base. Over the past summer, I traveled more than 12,000 miles, visiting 53 RV parks along the way. I can honestly say that Phoenix RV Park is the best park I stayed in all summer. The streets are paved, and the sites are concrete. There is a patch of green grass between the sites along with trees, shrubbery, and foliage. Although I was gone at the time, I understand there was a problem with the irrigation system this past summer. However, when I returned in October, the grass at my site was still green, and it was obvious, from the work I could see going on, that the park was putting a significant amount of money into getting the system upgraded and repaired. The grounds are well maintained. Phoenix RV Park has cleanest laundry facilities I used all summer, including many public laundromats. In addition, there are three small dog parks, restrooms with showers, a workout/meeting room, a small store with RV essentials, a huge DVD library and even a gathering room with a full kitchen that is available with prior arrangements. You can tell that a great deal of effort is put into providing a welcoming environment for the residents. I understand that there may be plans in the works to make it even more "homey" for those of us who call it home. Melanie (the manager) and Rob (all around maintenance guy) run the park well. Melanie has always been friendly, helpful, and cooperative, and has gone out of her way to provide me with reasonable requests. From the research I did, Phoenix RV Park is, at the very least, competitively priced, and is lower than many other RV Parks in the northern Willamette Valley. I've made some meaningful friendships in the time I've been here. Overall, I'd recommend Phoenix RV Park all day long. It's a place to put down some of your roots and stay a while.

Hence, the cards lost their function on our third night stay when we got back from our adventure and it was late, so the front office was closed. ( it was like almost 10 pm) When I called the emergency number, Tyler, the service gentleman on duty was very polite and helpful, he met me and my family at the bathhouse a few minutes later, with one of the maintenance cards for us to use. He truly showed us the meaning of hospitality. We loved how clean the resort was: it was the first resort we ever stayed having workers out cutting grasses and watering plants. The roses were beautiful! We loved the swimming pool & hot tub, as well the walking trails and rivers nearby. The water quality and pressure in the shower room was excellent! (This has been a problem for me in all the RV parks we had stayed in the past) Overall, the experience with Premier RV Resort has been the best we have had! We are new to camping and our camp place didn't have a dump site, so we looked up where to dump, and came here to dump our tanks. We usually come here to dump. This particular day was HORRIBLE. I came into the office, paid to dump and the lady working in the office said "go all the way around" and pull into #___ - the spot was a pull through. I had never driven before, my husband had, I thought it would be good practice, I drove all the way around, like I was told. Then realized I went in the site backwards. Before I knew it, this lady was at my window, speaking to me like I was a complete idiot, in the 1st grade. First of all, people make mistakes. Second of all, the way that she spoke to me, was uncalled for and completely disrespectful. I didn't even have 30 seconds to correct my mistake, before I was being scolded like a child in a rude manner by another adult. She could've approach me in a completely different way and spoken to me in a far more polite tone. She then proceeded to tell me "I told you to go around the building." and come in this way--- No, you did not. You said go around, which I did and I made a mistake by pulling in the drive thru the wrong way....a HUMAN ERROR. But I guess she's perfect, from the way she reacted, spoke to me and treated me. She also yelled at me for driving over a 3 inch corner of grass. The grass is yellow ma'am....again, I made a mistake, it wasn't intentional. But I didn't get a word in before being spoken to disrespectful. Instead of arguing with her, and telling her you did not say that or explaining myself. I simply apologized, said it was a mistake and i was new to driving a trailer. She didn't care. She just wanted me to know how stupid i was. I wanted to de-escalate the situation because obviously she is extremely upset with her life, the world, her job, or just miserable in general and if I would've said anything else, it would've escalated the situation. So I apologized and corrected the mistake after being spoken to in the most rude and disrespectful manner. I will never be back to this RV park and I will continue to tell everyone that I know about my negative interaction. A grown adult should never speak to another grown adult in this way. Especially when we are paying for services and unintentionally drove into the site the wrong way. I mean come on, does that warrant this kind of treatment? I would hate to be an employee of this place or someone staying there and not doing everything perfect. I am sure I am not the first person that she has done this too, her reaction was completely unwarranted for the situation that happened. If she's an owner, I feel sorry for anyone that stays there or works there. If she's an employee, I would look at her actions and getting a replacement employee quickly. I can tell you, As a double business owner Myself, I would NEVER act like her. This person is making your place of business look so much worse than I'm sure it is. You can tell she's confrontational in life, if you're upset about someone pulling into a spot the wrong way, when you didn't give specifically clear instructions.
