Listen folks, it's hard sometimes to find a decent RV park that has space, well groomed landscape, accommodating staff, and just a feeling of being home. I'm on the road a lot for my work, and I tend to stay places for weeks if not months at a time. When I called to make the reservation, Sharon, the woman who took my call, was most pleasurable to work with. They didn't require the third degree to get you in for a monthly rate. Nothing like that RV park up in Wilsonville just off interstate five, which actually took three days to do a background check before allowing me to stay for a month! Sharon helped me get settled in, she let me pick the spot I wanted, and her park guy, Robert, came and helped me actually set things up. Not that I needed the help, but it was just so nice to have people make you feel at home. This park is situated well off interstate five and takes about 20 minutes to get there from interstate five. It's a bit of a hassle to get your trailer through Salem, but once you get to the RV park you realize it's well worth the trip. This park couldn't be quieter. The spaces are large and the landscape is impeccable. She actually suggested paying for a monthly rate because it was cheaper than paying a weekly rate for a few weeks. You have a lot of full timers here, but you don't have any crap laying around. Nearly all of the trailers are late-model, and these people are serious RVers. The park is very clean, the showers are incredibly nice, the laundry facilities are adequate, and the lobby is nice just to go in and sit down and read a good book. If I had any complaints, it would be the quality of the cable TV service. Each site seems to be daisychained from the site next to it, so you get a lot of interference on most of the channels. Of course if you have a satellite dish, this won't be an issue. And the Internet is not that fast, so don't expect to be watching any movies on the Internet or downloading large files. It's adequate enough for basic email. Don't confuse this Premier RV park with the one that's out on the highway five. They are completely different. Take my word for it, this is the park to stay if you're in or around Salem. And it's pet friendly too!! We loved Premier RV resort in Salem Oregon. We stayed for four nights for a convention at the Salem Fairgrounds. The staff in the office was absolutely incredible. The grounds were nice and neatly kept. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and you have your own shower stall, locked with a bench just sit down on and put your belongings on. I also loved how they kept women safe and secure with the card key entry codes to the showers and bathrooms is a separate card number than the men's. I've often wondered about why parks don't keep women safe from men that are staying in the park. This was a very nice feature for me. Only thing is if you're going to be working and you need consistent Wi-Fi, I would have a back up option. We did find the Wi-Fi sparse and spotty at times but other than that it was an incredible park to stay at and we will be back next year. read more

Not even a 1 star service. booked online. no phone number available so you're stuck filling in the questions asked. I was going to a dog show with 4 dogs in the vehicle. I reserved but explained I had show dogs and we'd only be there evenings. no real good confirmation of reservation, no address with directions provided. I got a call when I was in the Portland area--inquiring if I intended to arrive after hours. yes was my response. directions would be at the entrance. I arrived in Salem around 6:30 PM. it was already getting dark. mMy GPS took me to a remote location. no rv park in site. it was difficult even turning around. I called the main number. no help. no answer. I found the number of the person who'd called to verify I'd be arriving. I left a message that I was lost. couldn't find the place. had dogs that hadn't been out yet so I was returning to the fairgrounds in Salem and staying there for safety reasons. I understood they'd take my Thursday night fee but I asked for a refund on the other two days of the reservation. next day after showing my dogs, I called to verify. I was told I was entered as a NO SHOW and therefor they were NOT REFUNDING ANYTHING! the woman was quit rude. I'm 75 years old. traveling by myself with my show dogs. I'VE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH RUDENESS NOR SUCH AN UNFAIR CANCELLATION POLICY. DOES THIS RV PARK EVEN EXIST? Usually there are signs. Good confirmation directions. kindness and goodwill. Lived here for 4 months while working in Salem. Try hee hee ilahee or phoenix before you give this place a chance. The spaces are incredibly small, with absolutely no room for parking if your RV is over 30 ft. Parking is limited, far away from the park, and $30/month per pass. Good luck finding a spot after 4pm. After countless struggles with the parking, we resorted to parking in our spot next to our trailer. One afternoon I parked next to the trailer and when I returned an hour later, the manager towed my car. After paying $500 to get my car out of the tow yard, we reached out to the manager to see what our options were, he was incredibly unprofessional and started cussing aggressively at us. As a young woman, I was so uncomfortable and left with no choice but to leave and find another place to stay for the remainder of my job in Salem. read more

Let's start with the obvious. The park it's self was beautiful. The sites are a bit small but they are nice and very well maintained. I walked through the shower/bathroom once and they were beautiful and very clean. Most of the office staff that we encountered were nice and polite and the Assistant Manager was very helpful and friendly. Now lets go with WHY the 1 star. We stayed a total of 5 weeks. At $360 a week that was a nice sum of money. At 3.5 weeks we filled out the paperwork for a monthly rental since Salem is in the middle of everything so the parks location was very convenient for us. On Friday at 2pm on our 4th week they called to tell us they thought we were leaving. I told them no we had not planned on leaving we were planning on staying and had in fact filled out the paperwork for a monthly spot. The confused front desk person said she will talk to the manager about it and see if she had made a decision. In the mean time they charged me for another week. About 4:30pm the mananger called and informed me that our RV, which had been parked in their lot for 4 weeks now was to OLD for their park. I said we had been here for 4 weeks now and had just paid for another week. She said we could stay for as long as we wanted at $360 a week but we were to OLD to stay on a month to month rate which is considerably less money. I was stunned. We walked through the park and looked at the other RV's that were in their monthly long term spots. Two RV's have tarps covering them. One was so dirty it looked green and many others had so much "stuff" accumulating around them that they looked like they were having a garage sale. Our spot was clean and our RV which is older is very well maintained. I was at a loss. We watched several day's in a row as a older man was very rude and bossy to a younger employee. He sat in his cart while the younger man mowed or used the leaf blower and did nothing but order that younger employee around in a tone of voice that I wouldn't use on a dog. It was sad because obviously the younger employee was mentally challenged. The park it's self is very nice and the few interactions we had with the employees, especially the Assistant Manager was very pleasant but the park Manager was very rude when she informed us that we could stay as long as we paid the weekly rates but our RV was way "TO OLD" to be allowed the monthly rates. The hwy to get into the park is a accident waiting to happen. We are glad we are out of that park with our OLD RV and we have moved on but we will not be back there or any of the Premirea RV Parks. read more

I rented an RV to see if I RVing could be incorporated into my career as a travel nurse. My camping arrangements fell through the evening of my arrival. I showed up at Premier RV Resort after closing hours. Katelyn was in the office and she came out to lend me a hand. To complicate matters, I had two 12 hour shifts the next couple of days. I would have a very difficult time trying to manage finding a place to stay. She reassured me that they'd be able to get me set up for the night and, although the computers were down for the night, I would have a place to stay the next night too. By the time I had a chance to take a break at the hospital, it was already 1pm. I called and Kelly let me know that it was already taken care of and I had a spot. I really felt like they wanted me to know that I was going to be cared for and not to worry! Amazing folks! read more

This is our second time staying here. We really like the park, the staff, the price, the facilities (and this is during COVID when we can't even enjoy them all). It's very close to Salem and our family. But, this time I decided to work from the trailer so we could stay during the week. The WiFi is a nightmare and completely unreliable. Not a huge deal for some, but I had to use my phone as a hotspot so I could work and chewed through my data. Super frustrating. I really like it here, so I'm sad we won't be able to come here again until the WiFi is brought up to speed. It's that important for us. read more

This RV park is the one to go to if you're anywhere near Salem. I'm a travel nurse working in Eugene and I make the hour drive because this park is so much better! From the first time we called them, every person we have met is friendly and professional. The grounds are pristine and they have a lot of little amenities like a dog washing station, movie area, banquet hall and gym that are nice. They have a propane pick up service that really MADE our stay. If you leave your propane out in the morning, they pick it up, fill it and bring it back to you. They communicate really well and run a tight ship and it shows in how well and organized the park is. Unfortunately, we had multiple negative encounters with the premiere RV park in Eugene over multiple attempts to stay there. Every experience was unfriendly and unhelpful, they essentially kick out everyone during Oregon football games and make it so you can't stay there for any amount of time. Their spots were significantly more expensive. The premier RV parks obviously aren't created equal but Salem's is top notch! read more

Beware So I sold my house in California and parked my fifth wheel trailer over here while I was waiting for my house to be ready only to have constant problems on top of I can't believe how many problem starters there are in this place that love to create problems in peoples lives that already have enough going on. I think because everybody that live in these RV parks full-time feel the need to control things and the Premier resorts allows that to happen. I truly believe that because they didn't make it in life they decide to harass people that are short term. Im going to give you a couple for instances. Number one I came in late one night driving 14 miles an hour The speed limit is 10 miles an hour however they have an extremely large hill that I gained 4 miles an hour on and one of their securities think they need to hell at you to slow down by flagging you down as if there was an emergency. Speed limit is 10 miles an hour and I asked him to write me a ticket instead of listening to his mumbo-jumbo that never happened. In addition nobody was even awake at this time and everybody flies through there about 20 miles an hour during the day but again let's harass the short term people. Then they call me the next morning telling me that that I have an argument with one of their security guards and I told them that I did. That must've been strike number one. Then I get a call about how my dogs are aggressive and I need to move out because they've gotten several emails and several phone calls are you kidding me? They never called me they never warned me about my dogs. My dogs are on leashes and want to play with the walking by dogs that's aggressive? Actually no that's not aggressive random people would walk by without a dog and my dogs wouldn't even flinch the bottom line is my dogs want to play with the walking by dogs. This place is a joke and they don't have any understanding of anybody situation. Instead they want to make up lies create problems and using the word aggressive only does one thing shows the dog is very unkind and wants to attach not the case and that's not how my dogs are. I recommend you staying anywhere other than here they also lie about space's being available I sat there the whole entire 3 weeks and asked for a certain spot that never had anybody ever parked into it. Serious issues along with they can never answer the phone but they sure do love to call and complain about things that are not happening don't they? I truly believe this place likes to harass people because they have nothing going on in their lives go get a life people Ha Ha Ha Ha have a wonderful day readers!!!! read more

Very nice park. Clean and a very nice bath house. Friendly except for one individual named Ken. I noticed him riding his golf cart around all day basically doing nothing I assumed maintenance of some sort. I tried to get his attention calling to him like 10 feet away but refused to acknowledge me. Once he left his cart he had no choice but to face me. After asking about a stuck sewer cover he angrily said take a hammer and beat on it, not easy to get off. After that he just gave me the stink eye every time he pasted. Sorry I'm from Cali Ken I'm not moving here just passing through. Try being nicer to people and not such an asshole. Four star for the park but but Ken dropped it to two. Salem Oregon read more

It is a very pretty park. Very large so lots of places to hike and walk. Playground, basketball hoop, tennis and a batting cage area. Super easy to get in and out with our RV. Well maintained park with full hookups. Access off the highway is treacherous...lots of traffic to cross or merge with. Sites are narrow, except highest priced sites. All indoor amenities were closed due to Covid...not sure why the pool was closed. WiFi didn't work, nor did the cable. Likely won't stay here again. read more

Horrible customer service. I understand that there are some policies they have to follow, but I was heading down there for a baseball tournament which got canceled. I wasn't notified of the canceled tournament until literally three days before my visit. They said I missed the window of the 72 hours to get my money back. I literally missed it by an hour and they were not willing to work with me. Also the rest of the baseball team that we're staying in hotels around the area got a full entire refund last minute. I was trying to save some money and enjoy the outdoors. I wish I booked with the hotels down in Salem now. read more

Nice RV resort. WiFi was good. Cable is good. Did not use laundry but it looked clean. Showers & Bathrooms were military clean. Office staff were great. Very dog friendly . They were having an ice cream social & my dog was included. Nice Nice pool area. Nice walking path around the park. New managers are wiping the place in shape. This was a great park in the past... it has steadily declined and by all reports continues to deteriorate. The management seems to care about nothing other than money which is unfortunate when previously there was a definite feel of community and togetherness. I have truly lost count of the number of times Donya or her staff would say "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do". This response was so stock and canned i quit asking. The park is very pretty and has many amenities, but as I was often told its an aging property and they cannot seem to keep up. read more

The park has a new set of managers , the 4th managers in 3 years, the park has gone DOWNHILL. They are not even friendly or even pleasant, they claim to be pet friendly, however, you cannot even walk out your door without a leash on your dog, that means you cannot play ball or anything with your furbabies. The landscaping used to be pristine , and well kept, but the grass is overgrown and your shoes are soaked just taking your pet to do their job, the fall leaves are everywhere, wet and piled up everywhere, you track in to your RV, all over your patio. They used to offer to fill up your propane and add the amount to your rent, which you then paid all together, now if you want it filled, you have to pay for it by 5:00 that day. This is not a convenience, it's counterintuitive to the service, so why pay twice the amount for the propane now, I just go right down to the chevron and pay half and do it myself, on my schedule. They have shortened the time the hot tub closes at night as well as the game and weight room, so if you work other than the 8-5, you are unable to work out. It used to be open 24 hours a day. It has a code lock and there wasn't any issues. Their are leaking water faucets in just about every site, the WiFi they advertise is so weak you cannot even check email, long term people purchase their own, the cable tv service is pathetic, the guide channel has white static noice, so you have to mute it to see what's on, and most often the channels font match what is stated, and the channel go to 48, however, anything past 40 is so grainy you can't watch it. The sites are so close you are sandwiched in like sardines, and if you have a large RV, it's a job to jockey it around to park in many of the sites. So it's overpriced, services are no where near what they advertise, very limited service, super unfriendly managers, they act like it's a prison camp. OH I almost forgot, if you plan to stay long term and get your mail there, they now DO NOT let any residents have mail service, no package deliveries, no actual street address, so good luck at filling out anything that asks for your actual street mailing address, cause you can not verify it either. So postal Boxes only. PASS ON THIS PLACE!!! It is also in the Flood Zone, it was flooded this year and about half the park had to move, because the creek that runs around it became part of the park so it was approximately 20 to 30 ft under water in many places. I had to give one star in order to post, but it doesn't deserve that. read more

We were staying long term, 3 months was the overall time frame to find a home. It started out positive until our neighbor and her boyfriend fought nightly between 2a.m and 5a.m ish. Which was a nightmare for me since I worked at 5a.m or 6a.m during that time. After complaining about them, the harassment from the park began. They actually made us move sites stating there was a plumbing issue and we needed to move asap so they could dig it up and fix it.. I lost half a days work to rush and move only to find out they did nothing to the plumbing. I documented with photos the lack of action they took. We moved an were using the ground past the concrete pad for the stabilizers, which amounted to about three feet of extra space. Which all the other campers were doing as well. When I mentioned that, I was told "they used to let people do that, but new tenants won't be able to." Also documented in photos. We were harrased about anything stored outside, all were prohibited. However, several campers had more things stored than we did, also photo documented. I do not recommend staying here. Sure the grounds are well maintained and all looks great, but be aware of being harrased. read more

Feel like we lucked out when we found this RV park. Needed to stay near Dallas with family for baseball tournaments and there are no RV parks there! Found Priemier RV and ended up staying a week. Had truck problems so extended stay was unplanned. It really ended up being tolerable. Premier has a store, great pool, hot tub, game room,laundry, dog friendly, they have bar-b-qq, Sunday breakfast, I mean it just gets better and better. Don't want to forget the office manager(wonderful) and the grounds keepers(wonderful). Honestly, they even pick up your propane tank, fill it, then bring it back! CRAZY. The only down side to this park is the turn into and out of it on the highway, which is super busy so it's very dangerous. Well also the price... We paid a bundle for a 7 day stay. This is a large park with tons of people so they have a very lucrative business. Would we stay there again??? read more

We stayed here to attend a wedding at 1:00pm on Sunday. We checked in Saturday night and arranged for an extended check out for 5pm Sunday. Sunday morning I stopped by the office to confirm. They had not made a note on my account, but the front desk girl was super nice and made the arrangements. We have a child with autism and needed a quiet spot, and it was. Silent by 9pm! The person in front of me had a broken sway bar and they were most helpful! The landscaping is beautiful, staff helpful and friendly, and it's nice and clean. Only minor drawback was wi-fi is insufficient for capacity, you can send an email if your lucky, but no downloads, streaming, etc read more

All of the reviews are pretty much right on. Exception. Sewer hook up is pretty much on the street curb. I have over twenty feet of hose and it is not enough. Landscaper doing some work in the next site asked if we were short on hose. Leads me to believe it happens all the time. Needed five feet and all they sold in the store was a $55.00 kit. First off the people in the office are so friendly. Can't think of another RV park where the owners were as nice. The park is super clean and beautiful. Very pet friendly also which is always a major concern for me. They had an off leash park and even a dog washing station. The spaces were kind of narrow but worked for us. Cable was good but the wifi was awful. We just stayed overnight but next time will stay a few days longer. read more
