Nowhere on the site does it say No Hammocks Allowed, and they had my reservation for at least three weeks before I drove more than an hour to stay there for the entire weekend. When we arrived, though, they said, "I see your ADA accommodation notes 'close to restrooms, must have hammock trees' but for the ¿integrity of our trees?, we can't have you use your hammock." We were on the opposite side of the grounds from the restrooms and I know there was a closer site. Ok, tree huggers, we also care about trees, but hammocks aren't going to hurt the trees. I understand that the trees may not be close to the restrooms, but you had three weeks to tell me not to come if we weren't allowed to use our hammocks. We wanted to take showers about three hours after they were visited by the cleaning crew. We could see from across the mostly empty grounds that no one had spent more than the length of time a toilet trip would take inside the restrooms. Before we showered, we checked the store for soap and sandals and the personnel said the restrooms were bleached daily. They have soap, no shampoo, conditioner, no sandals except for deep summer time. And yet... when we pulled back the shower curtains... Stickers on the wall. Hair on the wall. Adult... diaper... on the floor... swollen from daysssss of being in the water. Needless to say, I washed my feet again before putting on my shoes. We returned to the office within fifteen minutes to notify the person at the desk that the maintenance crew was not doing their job. Will possibly visit again. But will definitely be bringing our personal shower to keep on our campsite. Not doing laundry there. Wanted to try the mini golf, but left instead. Had to drive to fish in the Willamette. "Walking distance" fishing in the Calapooia is very unsafe.

    Brown stained pool.

The campground itself is very nice, The spaces are gravel relatively, But unfortunately, being one of the most expensive places we've stayed at in 2 weeks on the Road, We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the laundry facility. We found the bathrooms to be kind of gross and sometimes no toilet paper available, In the men's room. There are signs that say the bathrooms are clean several times a day.And I find that hard to believe . Staff was friendly and helpful in the reception area, but the pool is stained and unwelcoming.

5 stars well earned. It was our first ever KOA stay. We came in late and luckily they have night check in, you just leave the money in an envelope if office is closed. We paid for a tent site. Very quiet campground. Had an outside pool, mini golf, playground, dog area and showers/bathrooms with a code to get inside. It was nice and quiet. In the morning we checked out and the lady was unbelievably nice! Thank you KOA ! Pet friendly :)

Our happy home for the week. 10/10!

This place gave me the creeps and their laundry mat is haunted. The showers were dirty and will never stay there again!

This isn't a luxury park with water slides or lazy rivers but this is the place if you want to relax and enjoy nature. It is lovely park with grass, trees and a creek. There are trees and bushes between sites making you feel more private. Price is very good. It's easy to get to off I-5. There are big rig sites and many are extra long allowing you to stay hooked up in your site for a quick overnight. The most important, for me, is to support a family owned business and not a big corporation. Service is wonderful. They have a website and are so nice when you call because you prefer talking to a person. If they don't answer because there are out of the office, they call back which isn't always the case at other parks.

We were on the road and couldn't get away from overgrown bushes due to other vehicles in their sites. When we got to our site we looked at our three month old Brinkley to see scratches down the side of it. We were furious and no one was in the office to talk to. This place is very tight when driving through. People have their vehicles past their drive space and there's not a lot of room once you disconnect from your RV. Ours is 42' long plus the length of the truck. We had to angle the truck to park it. Guess what they were doing the day we were leaving. You guessed it, a tree service was there cutting down branches and trimming the giant bushes that were overgrown. Not sure how that helps us

We stayed at the Blue Ox RV Park in Albany. We were worried since we thought it might be noisy and Albany isn't really a tourist city with much to do. But we had a great time. The caretakers keep it immaculate. They are extremely friendly and helpful. At night, it was so quiet. RVs were coming and going, but were asked to do 5 miles an hour and they did so. Keeping it safe for us to walk our small dog. It was a great experience. We had a really nice stay. If it was warmer, we would've went swimming. But we had a horrible rain storm. The only thing I suggest is if you are going to be working on your laptop and need consistent Wi-Fi, you might want to bring your own set up. It was at times spotty and at times great but also at times there was no Wi-Fi at all. But I love books and I enjoyed reading during the rain storm. Also, they have a nice Keurig K cup coffee in the lobby during office hours if you want to just enjoy one cup of coffee. Great place to stay. I would definitely come back!
