Nancy also offered us personal use of a couple crab pods. Her humble hospitality was very much appreciated. She treated us like family. The RV Park is quiet and peaceful. The river was very nice to drink morning coffee from and my husband enjoyed a late evening cigar while watching the river. Crabbing was a blast. The RV Park had showers and restrooms which is a huge plus. All in all it was a great time, and we will definitely return. one thing that could make it just a tad better is a kids area. It's a smaller area so I understand that might not be an option. Definitely would recommend this.

The dry camping parking lot is great for an overnight stay while on a road trip. The hookup sites are nice for longer stays. We came and parked overnight while staying on the moored paddleboat B&B, Newport Belle. The marina parking was paved and felt safe. There are restrooms and showers available to overnight guests. They also have a fish cleaning station. There's a market on site where you can purchase fishing licenses, drinks and snacks. Everything was clean and maintained. People were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Ok I get i made a mistake but you don't even know the name of this place after reservation and not even in the confirmation sent just an address. Meredith lodging manages this place and from what I have seen, this is not the first or last time they have scammed someone. I asked for a partial refund because of this being misleading and they said no because it was my fault. Seriously this is how you have someone run your business for you. I was not asking for a full refund but even a partial would have been a good business practice. This posting is 100% a scam to make money off people that may be ignorant but can make mistakes. Shame on you.

We have stayed here over a dozen times over the years. Sites are relatively big, lots of…read morepull-throughs, are gravel and some are not as level as others. It is way off of 101, so no highway noise. It is close enough to Haceta Beach you can hear the ocean at night. And, it is not too far to walk to beach access. The bathrooms are always clean and I have never had hot water problems when showering. Unfortunately, this stay the digital TV channels were not available (i.e. all network/ local channels). I thought it was my TV and spent quite some time troubleshooting. Those in the office had a sheet to hand out to people with "cable problems." Finally, I asked them to pull up the TV in the office. They had the same problem but could only tell me they would report it to the owners. For all I know, they canceled their digital service. As for WiFi, like at many parks, it is hot and miss. It dropped twice while typing this review. Cell coverage is terrible here, so WiFi is important to me. If cable and WiFi are no big deal to you, then this could be 5 stars. I like having them so I give 4.

The pool is indoors and heated, there's mini golf, a large kids play area and the park is just a short walk to the ocean. They had a few activities in the clubhouse (candy bingo) and there were always puzzles out to do too. The only cons about this park are 1) the short walk to the ocean is across the main roadway (4 lanes of traffic) and the snowbirds who aren't used to kids in the park after Labor Day have a tendency to ignore the 5 mph speed limit. There are lots of blind curves in the park, so don't pick a site on a corner. If you have small kids, get as close to the park as possible so the kids can play there, and leave their bikes/skateboards/etc at home.

They have bathrooms before you board the boat so that was nice, when you board you find a seat in the cabin of the boat and they have a safety talk and explain everything, I got to go see the ocean but it wasn't safe to go all the way out so we went on the river instead i got to crab and see some jellyfish sea lions, seals and muscles and learn about that stuff and plankton that was neat, i learned a lot today so it was cool! overall i'd rate it a 14/10
