If you're looking for a local bakery shop while in Guelph, look no further. This place has amazing baked goods, coffees and fresh breads. Operating out of an old house located on a corner lot, the inside provides you with seatings to enjoy a great meal. My favorite is the BATH sandwich with a scone or square. Limited parking and seats so be patient. People come and go pretty quickly. Great mixtures of customers.

Whenever I'm in Guelph I have to go to With the Grain!! Although their portions can be small, their food never fails to amaze me. It is so natural and you can tell there is no added salt, or other artificial substances that don't need to be there. Their seating area has a very cute and welcoming vibe that makes everyone feel so comfortable. I would recommend their white bean & kale pesto sandwich (pro tip= add some chicken to make it more filling) and their breakfast burrito! All in all it's a great place to catch up with friends, family and enjoy some local organic food.

Homey/hippie/chill vibe with creaky wood floors, painted out, distressed chairs, people catching up, some reading the newspaper, others on their laptops, and a waiter who calls people, "Friends". :) That basically sums up WtG! Coffee is GREAT! I believe there is at least 3 different brews to choose from which is roasted locally by Planet Bean. I had the Medium and one of the Bolds (not Grainer Gold), and both were nice 'n rich in flavour! None of that watered down stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed the BATH (Bacon Avocado Tomato Havarti, $8.50) sandwich on homemade bread. Bread made all the difference! Homemade Sausage & Eggs ($9.50) were good too, although I found the sausage a bit overly seasoned and not sure what oil was used to fry the homefries in, but I wasn't too fond of the taste. Again, homemade touches did make a difference: bread, sausage, seasoning on homefries, etc. Service was unpretentious and very polite. Parking: Small-ish lot behind actual restaurant. Tip: Free refills on coffee, so at $2.25 it's definitely a deal!

Stopped by for an afternoon snack at this cozy place I used to go to for coffee regularly when i lived very close by. Tried the Winter Salad, a colorful blend of flavors that tastes excellent. It includes quinoa, wild rice, pumpkin seeds, cranberry, goat cheese and carrots. Light and hearty at the same time. Will be back to have it again! Friendly service too.

Simple, healthy, comfort food. Love the soups, and the BLT along with their smoothies. Everything tastes fresh and their bread is homemade. A good place for brunch or if you just want something healthy and easy to eat.

We went here for brunch today. We both ordered the eggs with bacon. The eggs tasted very fresh and were cooked a perfect over easy, the dark yellow yolk running everywhere. The order came with four huge pieces of toast, fresh and buttered, served with homemade raspberry jam. Delicious! The bacon (3) slices was good, my boyfriend was disappointed in the small serving of pea meal bacon with his. Potatoes? Not good. Overcooked and not seasoned. It also came with a salad, which I felt was in the way. Overall, the food was pretty good, but the plates were way too small for so much food. We also shared a Purple Haze smoothie which seemed a little bland to me.

Great oatmeal pancakes. Awesome home made sausage. The smoothie was delicious too! Great service overall. My only small knock is that its a bit pricey by a thin margin. Would stop by again for sure. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Highly recommend!

This looks like every other breakfast place except it's more expensive and very hipstery. Food was just plain, nothing exciting about it.

Seems overpriced for what you get. Breakfast Burrito was just ok. Spicy sausage wasn't.

Nothing flashy or overhyped, just a well-built cafe that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. It gave off that old-school vibe where you're encouraged to slow down, have a proper conversation, and enjoy the coffee for what it is. Everything about the space felt intentional, even the washroom was cleaner and more pleasant than most places I've been to in Toronto. That alone already made it memorable. What really stood out though was how the staff took a moment to explain why they don't serve long shots. It wasn't just a "no," it was a thoughtful explanation that showed they care about the craft. That's when I knew I was in the right place. Both the espresso and pourover were spot on. Brewed at the right temperature, right amount, clean all the way through. I could really taste the full range of the beans, and the attention to detail was obvious. I honestly wished this place was right around the corner from where I live. I'd probably even hand over my own beans just to see what they could do with them.

It's situated along the busy Paisley & Imperial intersection underneath an apartment complex. I knew I had to return here in the afternoon for lunch. The inspiration behind this restaurant draws from a couple's dining experience in Europe. Here's my rundown: Food: We started off with the Coffee for Two, which came on a serving platter with a French press, 2 wafers, and 2 shots of Perrier water. The coffee was rich and it made for a unique experience with the French press. Florence - We then had one of their savoury crepes called the Florence. You had the option of getting this as a crepe or a waffle and it came drizzled with a light cream sauce, seasoned with salt, pepper & oregano. The filling had melted mozzarella and prosciutto and it was finished with field greens, cherry tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze. Overall, this was a pretty light dish! The crepe itself was slightly sweet and had a nice texture to it. Annecy - We finished with a Belgian waffle with ice cream. This came with French vanilla ice cream, strawberries, sliced bananas, nutella drizzle, and whipped cream. The presentation was beautiful and the dessert tasted very good and it wasn't too sweet. I would suggest sharing this with people as it's a little too much for one person to devour. Atmosphere: The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice. The decor is quite modern and there's a blackboard that showcases famous landmarks and places in Europe, which is the inspiration behind this restaurant. There's patio seating, high chair seating, and normal seating. There's a section that features one low-rise table and three chairs that's perfect for catching up with friends. All in all, I would say that this restaurant gives up vibes that make you feel relaxed and at home, which is what you should always feel at places like this one. Service: Service was good. The barista was really knowledgeable in the food items and recommended us all the things we ordered. The food didn't take long to come out and the barista kept checking up on us to see how we the food was and how are dining experience was. Price: The coffee for two was $7.00, savoury crepe was $12.75, and the waffle was $13.75 (it's an additional one dollar to get the waffle instead of the crepe). The price isn't too bad, especially given the great service. Verdict: Whether you're doing a stroll in the neighbourhood, catching up with friends, or just plain hungry, Crepes & Coffee is your one stop shop. They've been in business for 4 weeks now and our in the midst of experimenting with food options (they recently just introduced the savoury crepes). The west end of Guelph isn't quite known for its food or desserts so this place was definitely a nice addition to a area that's lacking desserts like crepes. Check this place out before it gets busy. One thing that you must bring is your credit or debit card as Crepes & Coffee makes an effort to try to reduce the amount of physical cash used and also went paperless. I'm giving this a 4.5 stars out of 5 mainly because of the great service, the atmosphere inside the restaurant, and the taste of the food. My two complaints are that they don't open earlier than 10am and their savoury crepe options are limited. Nevetheless, it's great to see the West End of Guelph growing when popping restaurants like this one.

I think I'll still give the food here another try though just because I like the coffee so much. My partner also really liked his frappe so I think we'll be coming by again.
