You walk into the store part, and then you turn to the left to go, put your name down to go to the restaurant. The restaurant waiting area is pretty big. They have church pew seed thing along the walls, and there's things you can look at Food: I think the thing they're known for is they're broasted chicken. I didn't get it it just looks like fried chicken I don't know what broasted is but a lot of people got it. They also have meats of the day. When I went the meats were the chicken, turkey and pork chop. Why I was waiting to be seated I was talking to a couple and a couple things were recommended the turkey dinner because they said it would be like having Thanksgiving in the summer and pick the cheddar biscuit. Every meal includes a fresh from the oven biscuit. Oh I have to say the menu does have other things on it like hamburgers and I think chicken fingers and such but most people just went for the meats of the day. That I could see So I got the turkey you can get small medium or large they suggest small for seniors so I picked a medium which was a lot of food and I'm a big eater. I also got a slice of pie there's a bakery with a lot Kadish you can buy and they fresh bake all the pies in the morning for us and I got a rhubarb custard pie and it was delicious. Actually the whole meal was fantastic so I got a turkey with stuffing mashed potatoes gravy corn cranberry sauce and a biscuit and a pie. It was absolutely delicious. I just wish that it was closer because I would love to go more. Everyone was friendly the food was good and they sell bakery items frozen items gift ware. I can see why it's really busy Oh I forgot to mention there's also a little farmers market in the parking lot Okay think that's it. So I would go again in heartbeat

The space is a bit older and dated looking, but it is cozy and warm. I finally had the chance to try it out for breakfast recently. Staff are very patient and friendly -- there were the 2 owners and 2 other staff. So all the customers were well taken care of. The restaurant was packed. It's small only a few tables. My friend and I grabbed a seat at the high top table. Their menu was larger than expected for a cafe! Quite a lot of options for sandwiches. We both tried the Breakfast Sandwich -- it's a croissant panini-grilled with 2 poached eggs, cheese, hash brown and choice of bacon or sausage. It was satisfying without being too greasy or oily. I had a regular drip coffee with cream. It was ok! They do have a small coffee menu. Not alternative dairy. Lastly, we tried the Borsch soup! When we learned the owners were Polish, we knew that we had to try the Polish items on the menu. The Borscht was light and fragrant. Loved it so much, we bought a container from their to-go fridge! Will definitely return to try the pirogies and other items too.

My hubby asked for no mustard but they may not have heard him lol but other than that everything was great. Would definitely return when in the area.

I'm not surprised to hear Frannie's won awards and is renowned among those who know. I'm bringing a dozen back to NYC, woefully deprived of this peak buttertart experience! Not to mention Frannie's neighborly customer service and simple delight in baking and spreading joy. Seems to me also that bagels somewhat shrunk in size and they were not warm from the oven. Not today.
