The decor and atmosphere hit the mark as well. They have a full bar and there are local craft breweries on tap. I tried Furnace Room Brewery's dark lager and it was very nice. Even though, they could only serve ten people, the menu was a decent size and had a wide price range. The dishes were familiar, but still interesting. We decided, since we rarely go out to eat now, to splurge a bit. They had a double smashed burger for $15. But we went for the skirt streak with hassleback potatoes and it was quite good. But my favourite part of the meal was the appetizer. It was an inventive take on ratatouille and the flavours were perfect. We ended the meal with a warm cookie dessert, which sounds rather plain, but it was decadent and tasty. These people know what they're doing. We definitely hope to be back.
