Forced to use WISPNET in my rural area...had to pay $20 more and drop our landline charge to get acceptable internet speed which is much better but...customer service is very bad. THREE TIMES we have had no show tech to pick up THEIR phone equipment. They even called to confirm the time yesterday for this AM. I called and got nowhere with a very ineffectual and rude woman. I am retired but still have busy days and do not have time to schedule a FOURTH appt to be home and guess whether they will show up! They have ample room for improvement! Try to get to their website to pay my bill and all I get Is can't connect to server. I've reported this to them several times and all I get is "well it works fine in our office". Well it does not work fine from my house and is totally frustrating read more

I am not impressed with Wispwest's payment policy. I don't appreciate being backed into a corner just so they can get my credit card details on file. We have always paid on time but now we're forced into automatic payments being withdrawn from our account. Now, 1 more business to watch. read more

I agree with everything else that has been written in these reviews. The people working there should all loose their jobs. No one answers the phone because they use caller ID. I called yesterday it was Monday they said that they would call me back. No call, so I called today. They won't answer my calls at all. I have been caller number one for 2 calls and wait the entire time till the answering machine says I have to leave a message. Total disregard for customer service. The internet service they offer is sub-par at best (that's actually being kind). When they advertised to provide 35 down/5 up speeds they delivered no more than about half those numbers on the best of days.....usually less. They trumpeted that they were increasing our speed to 50 / 5 for only a modest increase in our monthly price. The result? I just ran Speed Test (Ookla) and it's 7 down and 2 up. This is a marginal speed at best for working from home (or anything else, really), so a couple of months ago I went and also subscribed to my cell provider's [begins with a T] 5G internet service (at only 2/3 the cost of Wispwest). I ran a Speed Test just now and the speeds being delivered by that service parallel with the Wispwest measurements are 53 down and 58 up......that's right, crazy upload speeds. So my recommendation is to hook up with Wispwest only after trying and exhausting all other internet options available to you. What they deliver is garbage speed-wise.....which means that whatever you pay, it's too much. read more

Wispwest is very unpredictable and their sales ads make you sick they are so incorrect! The speeds are not"Lightning fast" . Their techs are trained to tell you you that you have the problem, not their system' reliability. I was told there are no guarantees, all providers are poor when people stream at 7 am on a Sunday. The speeds are super slow to no internet at all. There will be days of black out due to their equipment and you pay the same. When you call tech support the answer is oh we are working on it Or it's your router not us.... Even with a brand new router I was told I purchased to nice of one and that's my problem. Horrible. For over a month now I have not been able to get an internet connection. Can't search the web or load Netflix, which is all I use the internet for. Called them several times and got no help. I am going with a new company tomorrow. Hopefully that company cares about their customers. read more

The absolute worst internet provider on the planet. Won't even load a page most of the time. I am writing this at 3:25 am, and the download speed is .32 Mbps. That is even slower than dialup in a 3rd world country. The techs try to make you look stupid when you call, the service is non existent, and its chronically a problem to even expect to look at email. Every single day there is a slowdown. I currently have 1 device connected and am running no other pages but this one, and it's so slow that the letters I type show up 5 seconds after I type them. If I could give them a zero I would. Horrible service, Try returning phone calls!!! Answer the phone during business hours! Their online payment site always has problems.(and the billing department doesn't answer) The actual service is terribly inconsistent and drops off frequently. The service is horrible! Been without internet for 3 days now since the big winds came thru on Tuesday! When it does work it is slow and intermittent. Can't watch TV and be on laptop or phone as the same time. We will be so happy when the new fiber optics is finished, up & running! read more

My experience has been horrible. The speed is no where close to what they claim and the tech support is worse. The service is a burst speed which means you only get that advertised speed some of the time. Then it goes down to a slow speed. Sometime I can't even get my email let alone do any work. Keep in mind, this is for the best plan they offer! Really bad experience. read more

Internet does not work most of the time. We are paying for 5 MB/S download and usually get around 300 KB/S download.

Writing this review with my cell data because our internet has been so slow for 3 consecutive days. $80 a month for their best package and we cannot ever stream music videos on Vevo and our Vudu account with hundreds of $ worth of movies is worthless. Extremely slow spotty internet and poor customer service with highest price in the area. Do not waste your time with this company. read more
