At various times I've had issues with the washers. Originally I was able to make contact with the owner, for what that's worth. I've lost money in the washers multiple times, never received a refund. This past time last Thursday, I had 2 machines that didn't spin out. I attempted multiple times and different avenues to contact the owners, to no avail. I figure I'm now well over $20 in lost money because of machine malfunctions. I'm expecting to go looking for another Laundromat because I'm tired of losing money and never getting reimbursed for it. I selected this business because it had awesome reviews on delivery.com and a decent amount of Yelp reviews. I scheduled my pick up for 7:30-9:30am window and they came around 8. The drop off wasn't as smooth and scheduled the same time for the following day but they didn't come until 10. I did call around 9:10 to find out how much longer it will take for them to arrive to my house. I left a message on their voicemail and received a call back in 5 mins. The young lady told me another 5-10 mins . Then 10 mins later still no delivery. I then received a call from the driver telling me another 10 mins due to traffic. Clothes finally arrived at 10 am and I opened my clothes once receiving, and they didn't even smell fresh. Like it smelled as if they didn't use any detergent. I normally walk to my local laundry mat for drop off service but I wanted to try the convenience of someone picking up and dropping off. I am use to my clothes being handled in a better manner from the washing and folding to how they are placed in an organized fashion in the bag. What a bummer. I wanted to love this type of service. I've used this place for years. But lately it seemed that being a loyal customer held no value to them. On more than 1 occassion, they either stained my clothes, forgot to use bleach or softner, or just lost an article of clothing or vice versa (me getting someone else's clothes). My last straw was last week. Over the Summer I sent a small load. Not sure what the minimum is, but I still paid $25 for a very small bag of clothes. When my clothes returned my whites were all stained. When I texted the owner her response was bcuz it was a small load, we did not separate them. ... But mind u, I paid for my clothes to get laundered. Why would you mix colored & whites?? But because they were being either too lazy and/or too cheap to separate, my whites were ruined. I had a brand new pack of white wife beaters and a "Supreme" shirt. All stained. She later said she would credit my acct. I stopped using them the remainder of the Summer because I was disappointed and annoyed. Reluctantly, I used them in Sept, when school started bcuz I got too busy again. . She forgot to credit my acct. I still paid my bill of $65. Now last week, as my laundry was ready for drop off, I was text the bill ,(per usual) and I replied "Did u credit my acct?) Her response was yes; $5.00... I'm thinking $5 for a whole pack of wife beaters that you ruined? Every shirt was ruined. All 7. So I sent her the invoice where it showed I ordered another 7-pack of Hanes shortly after they ruined my shirts. About $15 from Walmart. Again, this was a brand new pack of shirts that they ruined. They are the only people that wash my clothes. I could not have created these stains, nor did I send them with stains. I wear my wife beaters (aka A-shirts) as a t shirt during the summer. So I'm very particular and need them to maintain their whiteness & brightness. Well, last week was the last time I will use them. She was very rude and nasty. I told her she at least owed me $15 for the inconvenience. She refused to budge and refused to drop off my clothes. I then called the delivery man who I had a rapport with. He agreed with me and dropped off my laundry as expected. They then, illegally used my credit card number and charged my acct $55. I always pay them via PayPal. Always. And as I was about to make a pmt, my bank alerted me that a pmt had been made. I am currently disputing. Also, in this last wash that they did of mine, I have 4 shirts that do not belong to me. I wanted to like this business. It's right down the street and the people that work there are nice. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME I went in to pay for my laundry, there was an issue, especially when I used my card. The machine would always freeze up. As for my clothes, they were clean, no special fresh smell. But they were clean most times. This last time however, my clothes weren't cleaned and still had no special smell. I called Keri Ann (manager) of the issues and she didn't offer to make it right. So I guess disappointment is par for the course. I'll take my clothes up the street next time. I'll get a few more steps on my Fitbit anyway. read more

[I am giving 4 stars (instead of 5) just because I have actually never been to or seen the location.] I use this laundromat through delivery.com and I have always been satisfied. I never thought to leave a review before the most recent time I have used their services because I honestly did not think about it nor was anything outstanding or horrible about what I experienced, thus why it took me the previous experience to realize how wonderful that actually is. I have used 4 other laundry services on delivery.com and have had issues with every last one. The problems vary, however, I have noticed that every single time I use Wishy Washy, it is wonderfully uneventful. They pick up my laundry on time and proceed to drop it off on time. I live on the 5th floor of a walk up and not once has anyone ever complained or made me feel uncomfortable/walk my clothes down. Everything smells nice and the clothes are folded neatly. Consistency at its' finest. What prompted me to write this review, however, is how my experience unfolded with the Saturday pick-up/drop off crew after I inconvenienced them. I write in my delivery instructions they could buzz 2 other apartments to gain entry into my building (which was cleared with my landlord and her family, the occupants of the other 2 apartments) because I knew I had to step out. They arrived, and I was not there. They proceeded to do what was in the instructions in a very professional manner. However, the tenants in one of the apartments who were home, did not let them in at all. They told them what they were there for, mentioned my name, but could not gain entry. They immediately called me and I attempted to get in contact with the landlord with no luck. A member of that Saturday crew stayed in constant communication with me, was extremely understanding, and remained kind throughout the whole ordeal. When I was apologizing and told him he could just forget about it and I would call them to figure it out, he offered to come the following morning with no troubles at all, despite my plan totally backfiring and inconveniencing them (as I live in Washington Heights, not up the street). They came the following day, and everything went well, once again. I was so pleased and impressed by his calm understanding and realized how much I truly appreciate Wishy Washy as a whole and will continue to use them as long as I am without a washer/dryer in unit. So yesterday I decided to utilize delivery.com's laundry service. I decided on wishy washy because they charged less per pound in comparison to their competitors. The pick up window was short which I liked but the guy ran a little late but I was cool about it because he called first (great customer service!). The next day my clothes were delivered back a little late but again I was called again and made aware of it. My clothes were retired in brand new laundry bags. They even separated the clothes (kids clothes in one bag, towels and linens in another) which made it super easy to put everything away. The clothes smelled amazing! And super clean! Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use on a weekly basis. Thanks wishy washy! read more

The male OWNER is a JERK! I had 1 quarter in my hand and kept trying to put it into the dryer. A very FRIENDLY staff member came over to assist. She also could not get the coin to go in so she reached out to the male owner and he was able to get the coin in but pressed the WRONG dryer button and tried to say that he didn't when CLEARLY the minutes did not increase on my dryer. I asked him if he had cameras and invited him to check them where he will clearly see HE PRESSED THE WRONG BUTTON, as his finger was clearly on the wrong button at first. He is an ABSOLUTELY horrible business owner and NEVER admits when something is HIS FAULT. This is not the first time I have had issues with him claiming something that clearly wasn't true. read more

Ripoff during this Pandemic their price gouging!!! Used their pick-up drop off service for the first time I was charged $73.80 for 39 lbs of dirty clothes and an additional $27.00 for two small bath mats and a comforter. I was shocked and disgusted that they would take advantage . Kerrian never gave any prices up front and did not call to let me know there would be for an additional charge for those 3 items. I was charged more than half the price to do my laundry for 3 items and they don't see a problem with that. I expressed my disappointment and that I would report them and the response was "you do that" I sent a complaint to the Attorney General and let them know I was told I must be "lonely" and I could not use their facilities again because I complained. Rude unprofessional and they don't care about the community at all. I will wash my clothes by hand before I ever patronize them again. read more

I placed an order on delivery.com for wash and fold service. I picked them because they have convenient morning times which sounded great as I am leaving for vacation tomorrow afternoon and need to get my clothes washed for my trip and have them delivered in the morning. The order was confirmed online, I woke up early to be available for the earliest pick up time (7:30am). I waited and waited and waited. 9:30am rolls around and I try calling them, I called about 10-15 times and left multiple messages. No answer, no call back. I called delivery.com and they were unsuccessful in reaching them. At this point I was almost an hour late for work. Still haven't heard a peep from them. Delivery.com was able to cancel my order and gave me a credit, but it doesn't even begin to make up for what a massive inconvenience this has been. It's ruined my work day, I lost an hour of pay. I now will have to spend hours at the laundromat instead of packing and getting ready for my trip tonight. Please do not use them, whatever you do. read more

Whatever you do, do not use this laundry service. They will lose half your clothes, lie and say they do not remember those closes and refuse to compensate you. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CLOTHES. The laundromat will avoid your calls and then directly lie to your face when you are finally able to get a hold of them. I informed them of my lost clothes as soon as my laundry was delivered (meaning they did my laundry the night before) and their "attendants" memory claims they did not see my specific items. If you take a look at the reviews of other customers here and on delivery.com, there have been many instances of this laundromat losing clothing and refusing to compensate.
