Machines are broken or don't work properly. Of the 4 washers that I used, 2 did not perform…read moreeffectively. My clothes finished "washing" on a 4 and 6 load machine and the washer never pulled my conditioner and bleach. I asked the lady working here if they could restart my machine to manually add the bleach and conditioner- she said no because she can't, and she told me that's the reason we should be paying attention to our machines, and that we are responsible for adding water manually from the sink to the bleach and conditioner container for them to go through. She said that's why the signs are posted. No signs on this unit say such thing. Since she told me to add them and add water, I did so, and my clothes washed on the rinse mode and so never rinsed. All I wanted was for my machines to be restarted. Given that my clothes washed on the rinse mode, they didn't really rinse, i called the number and the person I spoke to said that he would have this fixed. Later on- While I was drying my clothes the lady came back and said she was told to start new washers for me free of charge, at this point my clothes that were not rinsed were being dried and I just needed to go because I have work to catch. I asked her if I could get my money back for those 2 machines and she said no, only 2 paid washers if I run my clothes again. I don't understand why someone is not here physically managing this place in case issues like this happen. I paid 7 dollars for a 6 load and 6 dollars for a 4 load- and I lost this money. Go elsewhere, my recommendation. If you do decide to come here, don't forget to bring a big cup to flush the bleach and conditioner manually in case your machine doesn't pull it properly during the cycle.

With the changing of the guard, Jotti and her husband Mickey caught the crooks red handed; embezzling thousands and thousands from customers, the register and uncovered their scheme of hiring a third party fluff and fold to actually do the customers laundry! Until this day there are customers who are shocked that this had carried on for as long as it did and feel betrayed by the father/daughter scheme. Now that this fraud has been ironed out, I can legitimately recommend Happy Bubbles Laundry for all your clothing upkeep needs! Angie is a sweetheart and has been hospitable since day one! She is the hardest worker in North Hollywood and has even watched her grandkids while managing the place! She's the first one in and last one out! And what's most impressive is that she seems to always be in good spirits with a smile on her face! They recently increased their prices on their washers (as pictured), however I was more surprised to find that a lot of their washers and dryers were out of service which isn't usual for this business. Apart from this slight mishap, the laundromat is always well kept and has machines where you can exchange bills for coins or use their speed queen value center. They also have well stocked vending machines with laundry essentials (detergent, softener, dryer sheets) and snacks and drinks!

A couple times other people tried to take my clothes out of the dryers not knowing I was right there. Plus, forget it if you need to use the bathroom because it isn't open the public. The sink they have also doesn't really work so if you get any soap on your hands there is no place to wash them. However, the place was close to home so we put up with it. They have TVs but it is usually never on anything good but there were places to sit down (although not very many). One time they actually had sports on and we were watching the game and the manager came in and turned it to another station. We were the only ones in there at the time doing laundry and were clearly watching so it is obvious that the TVs are not there for customers but for the manager's entertainment (I believe this was after the new owners took over.) The first new owner was very nice and said they would be getting new machines and improving the place, which was great considering the old ones didn't do a good job at washing or drying and the place was always dirty. That day the place was actually clean. After the new machines were installed we met another person that said they were the owner. This was a very bad experience. Even though they had new machines they didn't wash clothes well. They took out all but one bench to sit, so you basically have to stand the entire time you are there. I told my husband that we were never going back after that. So happy that the new owner made us not to want to go back because we found a new place. Didn't expect much after this place. To say we were in awe of the new place is an understatement. Very clean. A bathroom for the public. A sink that actually works (just tested it but didn't use). Great machines that do exceptional well at cleaning and drying clothes. They have machines that easily wash comforters to perfection. A special machine for cleaning sneakers. Lots of chairs. Great folding tables. Now we actually look forward to doing our laundry.

I have been going to this Laundromat for years. The new owner David (the Asian guy) is the third…read moreowner that has taken over this Laundromat since I started coming. I have seen it go through the pandemic, get revamped and flourish and now turn into a sweat shop. My recent and last experience was a couple weeks ago, I've never been so disrespected and mistreated in my life. Everything was fine until the shift changed and he showed up. It was a Wednesday when they offer free dry. There is no sign stipulating how long you can dry for free (Mind you I've been coming here well before he took over). I was in the middle of getting all my clothes (10 loads) in the dryers. Dave decides to come over and sweep in my area to make small talk. He said is this your dryer? I responded ... yes, they're all mine. He got angry because it was over an hr on the machines. He began to talk crazy so I said not today and I walked away. He got upset, went in the back and unplugged all my machines and left the building. Once I realized what he did I was furious. It was challenging transferring all my heavy wet clothes to other dryers because most of the machines are out of order and continue to be week after week. When he decided to come back in. I asked him if he unplugged my machine he said yea, you pissed me off. I told him he was a pussy because if I was a man he would have never done that. Also I had someone with me that asked to use the bathroom, he told them it was closed indefinitely. I supported this particular laundromat due to it being clean, its location, convenience, it being a small business, minority owned and most importantly being bug free. But now I'm done. Not only is he awful, half the machines don't work, it's hot as hell in this place every day. He won't turn the AC or the fans on, he claims they're broken too. Oh and I also saw a giant roach during this visit (that's a major deal breaker for me). I don't want no hitchhikers coming home with me. This terrible owner needs to just sell the business. He doesn't know how to run a business. He doesn't know how to talk to customers or people in general. He's rude and disrespectful. He's extremely unprofessional and sexist. He thought it was acceptable to ask me out for drinks, I politely declined. He's lazy, he sits around and watches TV until the next person's shift starts so they can cleanup. He runs the nice ladies that work there into the ground. He has the audacity to ask customers if they know anyone that wants to work there under these poor conditions. Don't support bad business!!!
