We were in town for my Italian grandmother's service at Arlington Cemetery, and I wanted to select a nice Italian restaurant for 7 of us on short notice on a Saturday. My family had doubts on my selection, but by the end of dinner they were apologizing -- the food was that good. Our waiter, Navi, was excellent. He patiently answered every single question from my very particular family and made the whole night feel effortless. There was also a guitarist playing chill background music that added the perfect touch to the evening. I had the chicken francese and finished with the spumoni tartufo -- both excellent. My dad ordered the tiramisu and said it was the best he's ever had. This place genuinely impressed an Italian family. Highly recommend -- go in, and don't let the outside fool you.

I came here with my wife for dinner on a Friday night, and we were immediately impressed with the variety of demographics of the patrons. There were younger couples, families, and older folks all together, which I feel is more of a rare sight than I give credit for. The space is pretty small, but it didn't feel crowded. They also had a small patio outside as well. There was a live musician when we came, and apparently this is the case for every Friday night. The servers/owners(?) were incredibly friendly. As far as the food goes, the meal starts off with some solid complimentary bread. My wife and I also tried a pepper appetizer, but it was pretty garlick-y and wasnt' our favorite. We both enjoyed our entrees though! I got a seafood pasta and it had a ton of seafood in it. We also both really enjoyed the cheesecake we had for dessert!

The quality is consistently excellent, and the pizza genuinely reminds me of being in New York. In fact, someone visiting us from New York tried it and absolutely loved it, which says a lot! We typically order online and pick up, and the entire experience has always been seamless. The online ordering process is easy, the pizza is ready on time, and our orders are always accurate. The staff are friendly and attentive when we arrive, and they're also very responsive whenever we call. The portions are incredibly generous! Their large pizza is huge, with slices that remind you of a classic New York pizzeria. One large pizza can easily feed four people if everyone has about two slices. We also tried their Brussels sprouts, and they were really good! They're a great addition to the pizza order. Between the authentic New York-style pizza, consistent quality, generous portions, and dependable customer service, Andy's Pizza has become one of our go-to places. Highly recommended for anyone craving a great New York slice in Northern Virginia!

The place was empty and they handed me my sandwich one minute after I arrived. I brought it back to the rink, and it was still piping hot when I ripped into it. So, how was it... it was of good size and the cheese was nicely melted throughout. All ingredients (bread, steak, cheese) were high quality and fresh. Maybe it was too high quality because it didn't capture what I had imagined of a great cheese steak. It was good. It just wasn't magical. I would try it again, maybe go with a different cheese or something.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Our go-to pizzas are the pepperoni and the ham and mushroom, and they're consistently excellent. The frittura sampler is perfect to share with a cold beer--it's hard to go wrong with fried mozzarella and friends around the table. The only thing we miss is the gelato, but that's a small tradeoff for an otherwise consistently great experience. We've enjoyed visiting several Pupatella locations over the years, yet this one remains our favorite and the one we always look forward to returning to for pizza parties and good laughs with friends.
