Wednesday night is still a fun night in our house, and tonight we ordered the extra large supreme pizza that serves five people. We placed the order online, then drove all the way over there in the driving rain. The pouring rain definitely didn't stop me from this pizza! It was made fresh to order and had all of the ingredients that you would expect in a supreme style pizza. My favorite pizza toppings have always been black olives and pepperonis, and this pizza had all of those. Thankfully it was still hot by the time I got back home. Back in the area after a hiatus and so pleasantly surprised. Feeling negative and testing positive has left me to rely on Uber eats and the like. Paisano's was an old go to and I'm happy to say that they're even better than I remembered. I ordered a margherita, not my usual, and was really shocked at how much quality mozzarella was on it. The fries are still the yummy soft texture I remember. Everything arrived well within the delivery window and hot enough that I burned the entire left side of my mouth upon first bite. Highly recommend! High quality pizza, satisfying, cheesy, very close to authentic NY style pizza. To feed a party of 7, we ordered 4 medium pies, and we had plenty leftover. Cheese, Pepperoni, Half mushroom, half spinach (I enjoyed the taste of the two different vegetarian topping options!!!) and a pie with extra cheese and sausage, which was the tastiest. You can make the order online which allows you easy access to customize the pie as much as you want with regard to the types of toppings, which side of the pie, sizes, etc. They also make more than just pies here so there's plenty of options. I appreciated how they gave plates and cups as well with the delivery. I would say a small pie could be enough for one individual so if you're sharing with others order a medium or large size. The person who took my order over the phone (possibly the owner?) told me he was adding a "surprise" to my order, which turned out to be an addition of garlic knots, which were delicious and which came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Spoke to someone who said they were a manager who assured me that they would make sure that there would be a good amount of meat. The pizza I received did not have a decent amount of meat. Some slices did not have much meat at all. I was more than prepared to pay for extra meat. (I did not due to being told there would be a good amount.) This might be the best delivery pizza I have ever ordered. The pizza is NY style and is fresh and fully baked without being too greasy or burnt. The crust is thinner than a hand tossed pizza but isn't so thin that it falls apart. The sauce has a little spice and isn't too sweet like the big chain stores. The garlic knots have a great garlic taste and weren't greasy. They were served with fresh marinara sauce, I know it was homemade because I ended up with a bay leaf. So I open up my trusty yelp app and roll the dice. The warmth of the familiar overcame me when I saw Paisano's and decided to take a chance on love. The pizza was promptly delivered to my friend's door at his fancy apartment building. The moment of truth: the box opened and the aroma of pepperoni and unicorn tears was intoxicating. We got a pepperoni and a supreme pizza. The pepperoni was delicious. The sauce to cheese ratio was exquisite and the pepperoni had the right amount of spice. I did not expect the garlic knots to be so small, they're like little nuggets. The buff chick pizza was also mostly just bread, a red onion piece here and there, and the chicken pieces were huge chunks just thrown on top with no buffalo flavor. I am changing my experience rating to 4 stars due to the response received from my original post. I received a email from the owner, then a phone call from the general manager (YaYa). It was brought to my attention that the restaurant was understaffed and received over 200 pizza orders around the time of my online order (Trump rally then riot). The GM was very professional and offered an apology and compensated me with a better (no charge) order experience. I plan to order from Pasiano's soon. Last night, we picked up a pizza and some garlic knots from Paisano's. We got a Big Paisano's Pizza, hold the ham and meatballs...wanting to balance the meat toppings with the veggie toppings. So it had pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. The crust was well done, the cheese was gooey and plentiful, and toppings were quality. The thing that really needs work is their sauce. The pizza sauce was a little on the bland side because it lacked the hearty flavor that I enjoy in my pizzas. The garlic knots were perfect little clusters of baked dough that are brushed with garlic butter/oil and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. As a serious garlic lover, I would have appreciated a more distinct garlic taste with a touch more parmesan and maybe a sprinkle of Italian herbs. I saw that they serve subs and pasta there...not sure if I'd stray too far away from the pizza at this joint but it's nice to keep in mind at those times where you can't decide what to eat and just want quick delivery. So getting there, I almost turned into the parking garage for Harris Teeter but Paisano's is actually located above ground near the FedEx and Massage Envy. Oh and this location is for takeout and delivery...there's only one tiny table in there that's good for waiting on your order or devouring a slice because you just can't resist! read more

Once upon a time, I used to frequent the Paisano's in Reston for salad delivery. It sounds crazy, right? But the Paisano's in Reston made a beautiful, delicious, healthy greek salad loaded up with fresh veggies and gyro meat. It was so delicious, in fact, that I probably ordered on a weekly or biweekly basis. It was the perfect thing for when I didn't have any food at home but still wanted to eat healthy, whereas I can eat pizza maybe one a month or every other month at most. Fast forward to the present day. I now order from the Paisano's in South Glebe, and their gyro salad is pathetic compared to the one in Reston. I've ordered salads three times now from the Glebe Road location, and they've always forgotten some component of it, whether it's the pita, the dressing, or the yogurt sauce. The salad itself is also much lower quality. I end up with a lot of that really terrible white part of the lettuce, and not enough olives, peppers, onions, cheese, or anything else, and they sometimes leave out some of the veggies altogether. The whole salad is always much smaller than the one I was used to in Reston, maybe 2/3 the size. Why is this review three stars and not one or two? They're really fast with delivery, the delivery people are generally nice, and their pizza is one of the better options in the Crystal City/Pentagon City area. If anyone working at this Paisano's is reading this, I'm begging you, please visit the Reston location and see how they make their gyro salad, then make salads like that. read more

The person who answered was extremely rude and refused to cancel the order and kept shouting " you come here to pick up your order ". Moreover, he refused to deliver the pizza to our apartment which was just 10 mins drive away. Very terrible customer service. read more
