This office is efficient,clean, personable and very kid friendly. When you interact with each employee there is a general sense that they all like their job. The upbeat work atmosphere is not surprising given that Dr Diehl is one of the most kind and committed dentists you could ask for. Education for new patients and families is top notch. Each question or concern was anticipated and take home laminated pamphlets provided in a " introduction" sling backpack; which was also filled with other supplies. In addition they have a take what you need drawer filled with items to ensure ongoing braces cleanliness and health. Of course my son was fixated on the animated movie, and subsequently was totally distracted and calm for the initial brace fitting. When he first glanced around nervously I could tell the ability to see other kids relaxed in a non threatening open lay out set him at ease in a way that was physically visible to me. I do believe that every facet of care is considered and provided for beautifully. People are treated in a human way by first name and never made to feel like another case or mouth full of teeth to fix. 10 out of 10 for me!

That was what we were told after my 8-year-old son's first orthodontic consultation. Thankfully, I decided to seek a second opinion and found Dr. Paulson. Dr. Paulson explained that we had actually come to him at an ideal time. Because my son's jaw was still actively growing, he was an excellent candidate to address his overbite now, during Phase 1 treatment, without surgical or invasive procedures. He fitted my son with Invisalign First with mandibular occlusion blocks. My son is very sensory-sensitive and a picky eater, so I was initially concerned about how he would tolerate treatment. To my surprise, he adapted extremely well and has experienced little to no discomfort with the trays. He is still in active Phase 1 treatment, but after just 15 weeks, the change has been remarkable--his overbite is already nearly fully corrected. I actually became teary-eyed while thanking Dr. Paulson because I am so grateful that we found him when we did. I told him that more parents of children like mine need to know that early treatment options like this exist. The first photo shows my son's overbite before treatment, and the second shows his progress after only 15 weeks (a little blurry because getting an 8-year-old to sit still for a photo is apparently its own challenge!). Our family had been patients of Dr. Parker's for a few years. Last September, my son had a visit to…read moretake care of any issues before his insurance lapsed in November. Apparently, instead of referring my son for a needed root canal (which Dr Parker does not do, thus, doesn't get paid for), he "patched" a root and provided a same day crown. My son came home in pain and weeks later was still in pain. He was told it may hurt for a while... this was normal. So he took Motrin and lived with it. Three months later, he is still experiencing worsening pain and went back. After being scolded, belittled and having his words twisted by the receptionist, he saw Dr. Parker and was told the patch "didn't take" and he needed a root canal. Now, my son will have to pay cash for a root canal and a new crown, where as if he had it done correctly in September, it would have been covered. My son paid off his bill ($2000 charge and they didn't even fix his tooth) and neither he nor anyone in our family will return.

We originally chose this practice because of the many positive reviews, and after several appointments for both my wife and me, we now understand why. OUR FIRST VISIT - THOROUGH EXAM & TREATMENT PLAN During our first visit, they gave both my wife and me very thorough evaluations and explained the dental work that each of us needed. Tanya was especially helpful in going over our options and setting us up with a no-interest payment plan. This made it much easier for us to move forward with the work we needed without having to take on the entire cost at once. We never felt pressured, and having this option allowed us to finally take care of our dental needs in a manageable way. Tanya made the process clear and straightforward, and we really appreciated her help. JULY 7 - MY WIFE'S CROWN My wife came in for a crown with Dr. Justin, and her appointment started on time. We also appreciated that they have the technology to make crowns in-house, which made the process very convenient. What surprised my wife most was the numbing injection--she didn't feel it at all! She actually asked Dr. Justin if he had already given the injection and was surprised to find out that it was already done. She was comfortable throughout the procedure and was very happy with her crown. JULY 23 & AUGUST 5 - DEEP CLEANING WITH McKENZIE I had my deep cleaning completed in two appointments, first on the right side and then on the left. McKenzie did an excellent job both times. She was gentle, patient, and took the time to explain what she was doing. Even the numbing injections were surprisingly comfortable--I could barely feel them. I especially appreciated McKenzie's patience with my blood pressure. I experience white coat syndrome, so my BP can initially rise during medical or dental appointments. She never rushed me. She gave me time to relax and patiently rechecked my blood pressure until it came down to a comfortable level before proceeding. That understanding made a big difference in helping me feel comfortable. SEPTEMBER 11 - BRIDGE PREPARATION I returned for my bridge preparation with Dr. Justin. Once again, I barely felt the numbing injection. Afterward, he carefully checked each area to make sure I was completely numb before proceeding. He was very thorough and made sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. Stephen assisted with the mold and temporary bridge, and his attention to detail really stood out. He was extremely meticulous--almost a perfectionist--in making sure everything was done correctly. SEPTEMBER 24 - PERMANENT BRIDGE I returned for my permanent bridge. Stephen prepared everything with the same incredible attention to detail, and Jessica double-checked everything to make sure it was right before the final installation. Dr. Markham installed the permanent bridge and carefully checked and adjusted my bite until it felt natural and comfortable. When I saw the finished bridge, I was genuinely amazed by how natural it looked. The color blends beautifully with my surrounding teeth. With my old bridge from my previous dentist, I could always tell that the color was slightly off. This new bridge is completely different--it blends so naturally with my teeth that I'm extremely impressed with the result. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE After several visits, what stands out most is the consistency of the care. From Tanya helping us make our treatment financially manageable, to Dr. Justin, Dr. Markham, McKenzie, Stephen, Jessica, and the rest of the team, we've consistently experienced patience, professionalism, gentleness, and impressive attention to detail. Switching dentists was a big decision for us, but my wife and I are very happy we made the change. We originally came here because of all the positive reviews. I have always had significant anxiety when it comes to dental procedures to the point that I needed medication to calm my nerves even for simple appointments. Dr. Bitar has such a calm and reassuring demeanor. He is thoughtful, patient, and genuinely kind. From the beginning, he made it his mission to get me to a place where I could come to the dentist without needing medication for my anxiety. I honestly wasn't sure that would ever happen, but it did. I no longer need medication for my dental appointments, and that says a lot about the level of trust and comfort he has created for me. His entire team is part of that experience. From the front office staff, who have always been patient with me when I've needed to reschedule, to his hygienist, who is excellent at what she does, to the dental assistants, who are always patient, kind, and reassuring. I have had such a positive experience with everyone in the office. The best thing I can say is that I refer my friends and family to Dr. Bitar because I trust him and his entire team.
