First day of braces for my daughter! Dr. Rucker is truly wonderful. My daughter can be a bit dramatic and sensitive, but she said the doctor was amazing and made her feel so comfortable. She's not in pain at all and was able to relax during the visit. The facility is super clean, the equipment looks new and well-maintained, and the staff are all friendly and professional. I'm so happy to chose to bring my daughter here! read more

Wait times over the past year have consistently averaged 30 minutes, this is to be seated. The dental assistants are great but there is another wait time to see the dentist. He can have a line waiting or just be chatting. Planning around these appointments for more than one child frustrating and a time suck. This was not the case for my child's first round of braces. Things moved smoothly. read more

Not a fan of the staff, wait times are always crazy long even with an appointment. The braces are extra expensive for no reason, just some kind of gimmick. Doctors are fine but a bit rude including their staff. read more

I came here looking for orthodontics for myself. I came in, did the x-rays and was told that they needed to send in a predetermination to see if my dental insurance would cover me since I'm an adult. Never seen an actual ortho here. I was told that they would send in the paperwork and it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks. Doing my due diligence, I went to another orthodontist for a second opinion/price. I followed up with my insurance several times. They never received any request from this ortho office. I did receive a predetermination from the other orthodontist and my insurance deemed it "necessary" for braces, giving me orthodontic coverage. Fast forward, I called and left a message with the front desk following up to see if they ever sent in the predetermination request. They said the lady was out until Tuesday but she would give me a call. That was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Now- I will be receiving braces from the other ortho for myself and then my son. read more

Best ortho ever I've received so many compliments that my teeth have never looked better and that's a lot considering I've had braces 3 times. Best decision ever. read more

Both their offices are great and they have such an amazing staff! I've had my braces since March and it's currently July and I already see such a huge difference in my smile and teeth overall health I can't wait to see what my teeth look like after my treatment. I'm glad I got a second opinion because I did have western dental braces on the top, but they wanted to extract two from the bottom and thankfully with them I didn't need to extract two bottom teeth so I'm glad I went with them instead I wish I didn't go with Western dental at all but lesson learned read more

After a year and a half, I completed my Invisalign treatment, thank the Lord. I chose Rucker Orthodontics based on the Yelp reviews, and looking back, I definitely wish I went a different route. Every time I visited, not only did I have like a 5 second conversation with Dr. Rucker, I never knew what to expect. One appointment, they tell me I'm just picking up my aligners. When I get there, they're sitting me down and super flossing me. A heads up would have been nice?! It was also very difficult to schedule with them around my work. Don't they know that people have jobs and kids and school? It was honestly so hard to take the time off and the front desk was not helpful or understanding with that. During my last visit, all the technicians did was look in my mouth, said "you're all done" and that was it. Very underwhelming after a year and a half with them. Like thanks? They just wanted to collect the check and push me out the door. FInally, Dr. Rucker just seems like a jerk. I never met him during my consultation and when I did meet him for the first time, he wasn't personable at all. He talked at me as if I wasn't even there. When he does make an appearance during my appointments, he just peeks in my mouth and starts throwing out treatment ideas. Again doesn't talk to me. Compared to the other doctors in the area like Dr. Dmitry Tsvetov and Dr. Min Ku, Rucker is nothing like them, which is disappointing and embarrassing for him since he's the owner. read more

Such a pleasant experience from start to finish getting my daughters braces put on her. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I also noticed they all work together and communicate very well throughout the process. So happy we chose this orthodontist! read more

I have been in braces with them for two years! This is the best ortho office! They have been so supportive in decision making process! Both Drs are extremely knowledgeable. They have a very busy office and I appreciate that they still take the time to explain and answer any of my questions! They have done so much to fix my bite and previous ortho work I had done. I am a dental hygienist and have learned so much since going here. Thank you Drs for all the time you take to continue to learn the cutting edge techniques to safely and effectively move teeth! read more

We had an ok experience with Rucker's. However, we weren't too happy with the surprise extra $2k we had to pay out of pocket. They said it was the part the insurance didn't cover, I don't understand why it took them 2 years to let us know with no warning. read more

I love this place, everyone is so friendly. Dr Rucker is just the best and has the absolute best business! Trust me you will not be disappointed if you come here! Thank God they are as sick of the masks as we all are!! read more

After visiting several orthodontists in the area for our son, Rucker Orthodontics made our decision easy. The consultation was thorough and provided answers to all of our questions, without being rushed or pushed to commit immediately. Our son was so at ease with the responses we received and the demeanor of the staff that he wanted to get his braces on that day. The positive feedback we received while in office from other parents and patients was the icing on the cake, helping to confirm the decision we were making. Braces are on, realistic expectations were set, and we look forward to our next visit with the Rucker team. Thanks for making the braces experience a positive one for our family! read more

Overall, a good experience. $6,000 out of pocket for braces. I thought that was pricey but maybe it's average? It's not perfect but it's what I would expect from Temecula: Good. I guess if I wanted perfect I should have gone to Beverly Hills. Nice office. Friendly dental assistants. Everyone is really pretty that works there haha I can recommend this business. What I cannot recommend are their referrals. If Dr. Rucker gives you any referrals, don't take them. Do your own research instead of going to who he recommends/refers. read more

We've been with Rucker Orthodontics through three sets of braces for our 3 boys. I have nothing but nice things to say about them. The Office is beautiful, the staff go above and beyond to make kids and family feel comfortable. As a busy mother I appreciate how the Damon braces have less appointments and I'm very happy with the results. I love how involved Rucker Orthodontics is with our community and local schools. If you're looking for a great orthodontist, then look no further. read more

First of all our initial visit with Dr. Rucker Orthdontics was amazing. Arian has always been consistently kind and helpful. Especially when I lost my job and had issues with payments. She gave me hope when I was concerned with my girls and their treatment plan. However, when we would make appointments at times they would deny us being seen due to non-payment. I was told it was not because of that however they would see my middle daughter and not my oldest. I'm guessing because my middle daughter's account was current with payments. When I would sit in the back during their treatment Dr. Rucker was jovial with other patients and rarely said even a "hello" to me. This happened multiple times. His receptionist Angela is very curt most of the time and rarely kind. She made me feel as if I was irritating her most of our encounters. So because of the cool feeling I received from Dr. Rucker and Angela I began to just drop my girls off and stay in the car. I am also upset with my middle daughter's teeth as they were ground down and look completely different. At one point one of her front teeth was noticeably longer than the other. I was steaming but my daughter assured me she didn't mind. After the girls got their braces off recently Dr. Rucker attempted to file and shape that same daughter's teeth and made her canines look pointed. She is happy but I am not impressed and can do nothing about it. My advice to any new patient.... Is Dr.Rucker good at what he does and is his back office staff amazing YES! Just dont let him file your teeth until after treatment and perhaps voice that you don't want filing done to your minor without your consent and you being present. This review is to state facts and inform not trying to upset anyone but my experience is what it is. read more

We love Dr. Rucker and staff! Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. The office is super clean. Highly recommend

My family and I originally came in to have my 9-year-old daughter checked to see if she was ready for braces. I was excited to learn and appreciated this office using cutting-edge technology with Damon braces! Some industries don't seem to evolve and this office is using the best-of-the-best technology. During my daughters consult I was even more impressed with Dr. Rucker asking my wife and I questions about our own dental history. I was blown away by Dr. Rucker's genuine interest uncovering the best route for my daughter, digging into the context of me and wife's history. Who does that? During the consult I shared about my own interest in Invisalign and I was blown away by their quote being THOUSANDS less than my past dentist. Airian helped us work out a comfortable payment plan allowing both my daughter and I to get Dr. Rucker working on our smiles immediately. Months into our smile journey, I'm continually impressed by the careful attention to every detail, especially with my daughter being younger and never having braces before. My Invisalign journey is almost over and I couldn't be more thrilled with my results. Every single person at Dr. Rucker's office is super friendly and accommodating. You can tell Dr. Rucker and his team love what they do and it shows. I also appreciate the fun, modern vibe the office gives off. It's also super clean! If you're thinking about going anywhere else, just stop. Don't spend your valuable time going anywhere else and just come here. Start to finish, you're not going to find a better orthodontics office than Dr. Jon Rucker's with his AMAZING team!! Kudos to Dr. Rucker and his team for creating a caring, winning environment! read more

Nobody likes getting braces. But if you find yourself in need of an orthodontist, then you are well advised to schedule an appointment with the folks at Rucker Orthodontics in Temecula. They are a top-notch outfit from top to bottom. I just completed a successful two-year treatment program to correct an overbite. I have to admit that I am not always an easy patient. Add to that the fact that I was not enthused about the whole idea of getting braces and you end up with a grumpy-adjacent middle-aged man with a mouth full of metal. BUT the patience and professionalism of the entire staff turned me into a believer. However, it was my excellent customer service experience that got me to typing a review. Without going too deeply into the details, my insurance company rejected my claim 20 months after we began the process. I was presented with a substantial surprise bill in addition to having an unwanted mouth full of metal. Bah humbug. Long story short, owner Dr Jon Rucker made the most patient-favorable decision that he could have made. There was no negotiating or begging. He just simply did the right thing at a cost of several thousand dollars to himself and no additional charge to me. I thought that showed true character and a focus on taking care of patients. I like that a lot. But, wait. There's more. I am really into esthetics and interior design. Dr Rucker and his team put a lot of time and effort into creating a warm and vibrant space. And his Spotify playlist is on point! Somehow, I didn't mind the time I spent in the waiting room or in the chair. I still don't like braces. But if you have to have them, then Dr Rucker is the guy you need to see. read more

Great staf!!! however no compassion from the doctor whatsoever, all about the bottom line... the refugee from Ukraine who has whole set of braces that just needs an adjustment that would typically cost approximately $50 was given a $5,800 fee quote to "manager her case for 6 months" that basically means adjusting her braces once every 2 months... SHAME on you!!! read more

I could not be happier. My kids smile looks great, treatment was efficient and the office was comfortable. I did have an issue with their third party payment contractor who did not process the insurance contribution properly, but Dr. Rucker personally reached out to me and handled the entire situation personally, I appreciated the extra effort. The issue was resolved quickly and other than a little stress on my part no harm done. I would recommend Rucker Orthodontics. read more

I came for a consultation for my 3 children in January. I was so impressed from start to finish. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Rucker spent time with each of my children explaining the process and calming their nerves. His staff as very thorough when we discussed the price and process. It was low pressure which I appreciated. After a few other consultations it was clear the Dr. Rucker was the best choice. My daughter had her braces put on about a month ago and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience. My two sons are scheduled next month! By far the greatest experience I've had at an Orthodontics! I had originally gone to Western Dental and that's where my husband and I were planning to take our two children until I stumbled on Dr. Rucker. I am so pleased with the staff, everything from the consultation to when they put on the braces for our son. The staff was informative and professsional, they made sure we were comfortable and that there was nothing wrong with the appliance. They made sure we understood everything that they would be doing for treatment and payments before we signed any forms. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Wow, what a great experience we just had with Rucker Orthodontics! We did our consultation today and they were even able to put my daughters braces on today!Honestly, my daughter gets a bit of anxiety when it comes to her teeth as she has already had oral surgery in the past and fillings. But Dr. Rucker and his whole team put her and all of us for that matter, at ease! The office is immaculate and the technology they use is state of the art. The staff was just so informative of the process, I felt so good going with this ortho! (I looked at 2 others prior to Rucker) I even did a consult and signed up for Invisalign. Dr. Rucker is Invisalign certified and number 1 in the area from what I was told and read online! Super excited and again, the staff and their care and customer service was outstanding. My son is 3 and wanted a backpack just like his sister and the girls there were so sweet they gave him one too! Can't wait to see the results for our baby girl! We have been with Dr. Rucker for almost a year now and we are so lucky to have been referred to him. Front desk is courteous and the office decor is welcoming. However, Dr. Jonathan Rucker and staff claim he is part of the American Association of Orthodontists, but he is not on the AAO board. Shocking. Billing is with a third party company, so you have to reach out to someone else regarding billing issues. Majority of staff is white, which doesn't project equality. Dr. is pushy to get you started during a consultation. I do not recommend this practice. read more

This is my fourth child with braces and I had them myself long ago. I had headgear, the kids had rubber bands, my son had and expander. What a nightmare!
