Favorite pizza place in Grapevine! Every time I've come here with my girlfriend, we've tried a different pizza and have never been disappointed. Kelsey greets us each time, if she's there, and makes sure our experience is nothing less than awesome. Kevin, the owner, adds a personal touch and has made a point to remember our names and even says hi if we see him out and about. Truly a local place with a local touch. Highly recommended. Order here if you like mystery boxes instead of your order, don't bother if otherwise. Placed an order on the phone, had it read back and confirmed, and the incorrect order shows up. (No mushrooms or pepperoni, thin crust please) Thick crust loaded with shrooms and pepperoni in hand, we call back and land on a gentleman named Aden. Debrief him, let him know what we ordered. We were so skeptical that they understood we even called back 2 minutes after hanging up to make abundantly sure they were not putting mushrooms or pepperoni on the pizza, which Aden confirmed they understood. Somewhat of a hidden gem in the shopping center! They have various kinds of beers for those who drink that all look good and I know at least a few local. Food side I've only ever had the pizza and it is excellent. Their special pizzas look good but we've usually done a build your own pizza for the kids and I.!The small is big enough that my son & I shared and still had a slice or two to take home. Usually if both the kids are sharing with me I get a medium to be safe. The sandwiches family members have ordered look good and came with chips if I remember correctly. The garlic bread you get with your meal is outstanding. Great pizza and always a variety of local brews. You can get menu pizzas or custom the management obliges. I usually get The Godfather Supreme minus green peppers and bacon. Who needs green stuff on pizza? Very good and not skimpy on the toppings like most delivery pizzas are. Sandwiches and pasta dishes available if you've had too many pizzas lately. Absolutely amazing Bruschetta, the best I may have ever had ever. Pizza options are top notch, and taste wonderful. Ingredients are for sure fresh. The deal on the Growler (for the Craft Beers they have, and swap out regularly) is a great one, and allows you to carry out 32 and 64 oz's of your favorite handcrafted. My husband had to go inside and get napkins at some point because we thought he ghosted us. I was able to write this review and still no spouse. The pizza was decent just not my style. The thin crust was thicker than what I expected and had a sweet taste to the dough. But they weren't skimpy on the toppings. Not trying to kill a new guy's spirits but had we had a better dining experience, I would have rated this higher. Update, the spouse is in the car: This was our first time here and our waiter put in the wrong sized order for us. We wanted the personal sized pizzas to try out a few of the different styles and apparently got their smallest pizzas. So we got billed for about $6-$7 more than expected. Ok, I'm new to Yelp, but not to traveling the world and eating. Talk about a great addition to the Grapevine/Southlake area! This place has only been opened two days I think, but it is here to stay!!! Phenomenal pizza! Freshest ingredients and so many specialty pizzas to pick from. Thick and thin crusts. If you like spicy, you will love the Flamethrower!!! Service was outstanding! You order and pay right up front. Then take a seat and watch sports on the big screens all over the walls or enjoy some great outdoor seating. Once you sit down, servers are taking drink orders, keeping those glasses full, and making sure you have everything you need. Not one small detail was overlooked!!! It was a tossup between New York and this place and we opted for this place due to the reviews. We ordered a margarita pizza and a custom three-topping pizza both thin crust. The thin crust is raw! RAW CRUST! It is crispy on the outside but completely raw on the inner portion of the thin crust. It is nothing like thin crust anywhere else. They bring you fresh bread balls in a basket when you sit down. Amazing! With some Parmesan sprinkled on. One child got the Mac n Cheese and loved it. The rest of us ordered a large "Hitman" pizza with hand tossed crust. It had a white sauce with chicken and was out of this world good. The crust is light and not thick. First off the cinnamon knots are some next level stuff. The menu is crazy with anything and everything you could want and then they nailed the cook on it. The wife and I had a pizza loaded with sausage, caramelized onions, and fresh mushrooms. This was a good choice but I will get a thin crust next visit. They have excellent hand tossed crust, but I'm excited to return for the thin and crispy as recommended by the owner. I was most impressed with their taps. All local craft beer and a good variety. Unfriendly. Dry flavorless pizza. Doesn't appreciate customers. First time customer. I love to try local restaurants and hoped this would be my new local pizza spot. DISAPPOINTING! I ordered a take out pizza and had trouble getting an employees attention away from their phone. The employee I managed to flag down handed me my pizza but couldn't work the register. The lady whom he flagged down couldn't be bothered to say 2 words to me while checking out my ticket. This lady was apparently the bar tender. So after terrible customer service I returned home with a terrible product. The pizza was almost dry, barely any sauce and as little cheese as they could get by with. This was my first time here. Cool vibe, good service. If I wasn't such a HUGE fan of wood fired pizza, I might give 5 stars. I LOVE wood fired pizza, so to me, there isn't much of a comparison, BUT, I am HUGE on FRESH ingredients, and Wise Guys represents! We got one "small" from the top half, and one "small" from the lower half of the menu and have SO much left over! They serve a basket of garlic knots (or two, or three) while you wait, so be careful as to not ruin your appetite! It felt too crowded between tables, the service was a little slow, and it was rather noisy between poor acoustics and some kind of distracting bass sound that may have been from some kind of equipment (maybe that's a temporary issue). My mom and I stop at this place on a whim. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! The place was so busy but we had a table, a basket of garlic knots and water within minutes. Our waiter helped us pick out local craft beers that went with our tastes the best and allowed us to sample before getting a glass. We couldn't decide what pizza to order, so we ended up ordering 3 different personal pizzas to share. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful and I have already recommend this place to friends and family. We will definitely make it a point to come back when we are in town. Okay so I am normally a very nice Yelper. But I'm done with this place. I am giving them 2 stars only because if they ever get your food right it's good. The last three times they have delivered pizza to us it's been wrong. This time not only was the order wrong but what they did send was burnt and when I called they told me they were closing and that they would call me tomorrow. They never did. I had to call them. I was then told they could make the order again and send it out. (Why would I want it the next day?) Then they told me they would refund the items they didn't send. Don't waste your time or money. Took my 2 kids to have pizza/pasta on a Saturday night. Seated quickly, waiter took order promptly. Boy, was the food way off. My Daughter's lasagna way too spicy and oily for her to eat. My teenage Son was given the children's portion of Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Shrimp Scampi had an excessive amount of capers and salt, the Don All Meat pizza was oily as well. When I told the Waiter the issues with the food shortly after being served, his reply was "oh, that's a drag" and walked away. No attempt to fix or resolve the issues at all. Had to ask for 3 small plates for the pizza on 3 separate occasions, my son had to get up and get the plates himself from the counter. When I paid at counter, I again told the waiter about the issues and got a reply of "Oh, that's too bad". There are MANY other places in DFW to spend hard earned money at that will provide a better level of service, food quality, and empathy to resolve an issue with their food. Feels like they didn't really care at all. That usually stems from poor staff training that trickles down from poor management. Folks, save your time and money. Wise Guys was pretty freaking good for dinner tonight with my family! We got a wonderful fried mac and cheese appetizer, the marinara sauce was sweet and tangy, the cheese sauce has spices and herbs in it to lighten it up. We ordered the Milan pizza which was amazing! And we ordered the white & red clam linguine which was pretty good. We also ordered Bishop's Crackberry cider, Deep Ellum's Easy Peasy, and Cedar Creek's Dankosaurus. All of these beers and ciders were exactly what we were looking for on a hot summer evening. Our server Leslie was very attentive and kind to our table. Well let's just say....everything was super good. I met John while we were both hosting tables at a career fair for our companies. Everyone that walked by raved about their food. So that was a free commercial because I went immediately after the event. It's cute in their by the way. Second location is cute too in neat area. Let's see I ordered a monster meat pizza minus the pepperoni, Italian antipasto salad, hot wings and they have these glass jugs called grawlers for crafted beer. I'm not a drinker but there were multiple local crafted beers on tap if you're into things like that. Then to top it off those little bread knots.
