The phone was working great, I was happy with the work for 2.5 weeks up until yesterday(April 2) I noticed the black line screen damaged and went back to ask the technician if the work guaranteed or warranty for 30 days at least? They replied that can replace another screen with $100 discount which required another new screen put on for another $300 something. They were kind enough to gave me an iPhone charger for free and suggested I should just bring out my old iPhone 7 to use if I didn't repair my phone this time as my alternative. With this economy and specially money didn't grow out of the tree. It's a no-no for me to spend another $300 in less than a month would you? If you want to get anything repaired from this place. Please have it in writing for how long they will warranty their work. Or just put a bandage or a duct tape on it might be smarter move than me.

Once I looked at the Mac that was listed for sale I discovered that the Mac that I had first inquired about would not update to the latest MacOS version. Then they had another unit that was double the original price. They indicated that the more expensive of the two machines would update to the latest OS (which it did) and they also indicated that I could add this machine to my AppleCare One insurance plan so I went ahead and purchased the more expensive unit, I wanted to pay via Credit Card. They told me if I paid on credit they would have to charge me tax ?! They suggested that I use their preferred finance company so I qualified immediately and left the store. When I got home, I phoned Apple and was told that I could only put the machine on the insurance plan if I was the original owner and had proof. I was not the original owner so that was the end of that. Here we are six days after purchase, I went ahead and paid their finance company off so that was one less bill I had to worry over. For the privilege of using their financing I was charged $36 on an agreement that was supposed to be 100 days interest free. I also just discovered the power adapter that they gave with the unit is definitely not Apple OEM parts. Every time I touch the computer, you get a small static electricity type shock because there is no ground wire on the power adapter that they gave me. We are now all in at $1,337 and I have to go to an Apple Store to get the proper adapter which is probably going to be another $100 or so + tax and I may look at getting a new battery put into it. My best guess? I am into a used 2021 MacBook for around $1,500. I would have been better off going directly to Apple and getting a new machine for around the same price. I did call and mention this to the store, they said I would be better off getting new equipment. I asked the lady on the phone if they would be able to offer better pricing than Apple and she said: No, we are retail." I asked her what benefit I got purchasing from them, she remained silent and with that I said "I don't see us doing any future business together" Without saying anything else, she hung up on me. I think this place caters to the Hispanic Community and to folks with no credit or bad credit. My advice to anyone reading this would be to STAY AWAY from Magic Phone. My wife and I waited about 10 minutes or so and decided to walk over to Albertsons and get some groceries. That took about 15 to 20 minutes. We returned about 4:00 and waited a few more minutes and i called the store a few times with no answer. At this point we were trying to decide whether to go to a different AT&T store and cut our loses on invested time hoping that someone would come back. I wrote a note explaining that we had waited a long time and requesting a call when they returned. After we had been there for about an hour an employee named Eloy appeared from the back office and opened the door. I questioned why it was so long and he pointed to the "out to lunch" sign. I told hime it would have been helpful to have a time of return on the sign. He was totally unapologetic and lied saying he had only been gone for 35 minutes. At this point it was 4:20 and we said you were gone for close to an hour whole we were here. He wanted to argue and looked at his phone and said he clocked out at 3:46. This was 20 minutes after we arrived. He may have clocked out then but he was gone for considerably longer. He finally said "i am here now, do you want me to help you?". I said no as he was not truthful with us and certainly was offering nothing resembling an apology. We went to the AT&T store in downtown summerlin and employees there were great.

I went in with two simple questions, how to migrate my text messages to my new phone and how to physically trade in my old phone. Everything was already paid for and done. Both came to the quick conclusions they could not help me and told me I need to figure it out on my own telling me I only have 7 days now to figure that out. I asked a second time to confirm there was nothing they could do to help, and they confirmed that and the timeline. After asking nicely if they send a survey for the experience both stood up and walked up to me asking if I was threatening them. Mind you, these two men are much taller than me and I was still sitting down. Stated I was leaving and moved toward the door because I felt uncomfortable, then one employee yelled telling me to wait, then taunted me with his business card saying "here make sure to call and include my name, I'm the GM." I'm not sure how things escalated so quickly being in the store for maybe 3 mins, but I had no intention of writing a review of them, rather of the phone transfer timeline and text transfer difficulty. Their reaction was very unprofessional and uncalled for, I really hope someone from ATT watches the video surveillance to get a clear understanding of their employees behavior.
