They have made it fairly easy to find your perfect family tree - firs are in the barn, or catch the hayride to select your cypress or pine! If you take the hayride, you also have the option of cutting your own tree or marking it to allow one of the employees to cut it down for you. Once selected, they take your tree to wrap it and wait to load on your vehicle. While they take care of the tree, you can select a garland or wreath to take home as well, or find additional decorations inside. There is also free apple cider and photo ops for the whole family, including your pups, at the front of the business. When you're ready to leave, you circle around the drive and wait while they load it on top of your car or the back of your truck bed. The staff will tell you how to keep your greenery alive the whole season, even warning one couple to be aware of staining that could occur to their mantle! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and I'd say the tree and stand are just as comparable to purchasing a fake tree from a big box store. We settled on one midsize chiminea, and Eric volunteered to add a varnish at no extra cost to make it look better at last longer. Before I left, they gave me a bag of Pinion pine firewood, as well as a package of fire starter no extra cost. Not too many businesses these days, give you the extras that make the purchase so worthwhile. Eric also took the time to show me around his business, and I was very impressed with the amount of firewood available in the back as well as all the decorative items in the store. I highly recommend these folks as they are new owners of this business and are going out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.

It's disturbing. I attempted to speak with an employee about it, but they looked genuinely afraid and refused to say anything. I've heard for years about Hobby Lobby being an unethical corporation that exploits its workers, but I never fully understood until I finally got someone to talk. Employees are reportedly not allowed to have water at their stations, and their scheduled breaks are frequently denied or delayed by over an hour. This is a blatant disregard for employee health and should be illegal. On top of that, employees are often not allowed to leave when their shift is supposed to end. For example, if a cashier's shift ends at 4:00, there is often no relief cashier in the building until that exact time, meaning they cannot step away from their register. Even then, supervisors reportedly require them to stay and recover or restock parts of the store before being allowed to leave. It is not uncommon for someone scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. -- already an extremely long shift, especially without proper breaks -- to be forced to stay until nearly 9:00 p.m. People deserve lives outside of work. How do you plan time with your spouse when you never know when you'll be allowed to leave? How do you explain to your child that you missed their school recital because your boss forced you to stay under threat of losing your job? This is not a Christian company. This is not a family-friendly company. This is an unethical corporation that should be held accountable for how it treats its employees. Shame on you, Hobby Lobby.
