We love this sweet pumpkin patch. It's an annual tradition for so many local families, ours included. We go at least once each season. There's no admission fee to get in. The pumpkin selection is great, and there are so many photo spots. Feeding the parakeets is a favorite for my kids. It's only $4 per person. There's a tractor hay ride, pony and camel rides- all reasonably priced, and there are plenty of free activities as well. My youngest loves the (free) dark maze, and then there are so many animals to see. The baby pigs are the cutest little things. They have a gift shop with fudge, jams, jellies, and other goodies, as well as a food counter with hot food options. They are only open until the 31st, so get out there soon. You'll be glad you did.

Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch is an adorable, affordable place for an outing! They have all the expected pumpkin patch activities - petting zoo, a maze, PILES OF PUMPKINS - but there's no admission charge! What, I don't have to pay 10 bucks to take a new photo for Instagram? SCORE. The activities that do have an added charge - pony/camel/wagon rides, a cane maze, or animal feeding encounters - are reasonable, topping out at $5 per person. I came the weekend before Halloween, and Carmichael's was busy. Parking was not as bad as I expected; I was able to park in a gravel lot that wasn't too far from the entrance, but if Carmichael's had been a little busier, parking would have been a problem. The pumpkin selection was also kind of limited at this point - there was a wide variety of decorative gourds and bumpy, textured pumpkins, but all of the jack o'lantern carving pumpkins were sold out. Fortunately, there were still several piles of pumpkins for picture taking, and, boy, was there picture taking. Everywhere I looked, there were parents taking photos of children or young people taking photos for social media, so heads up - this is a good place to take that new profile pic. The petting zoo portion was really good for a free attraction. There was a camel, a couple of llamas, pigs, plenty of goats and sheep, and some ponies ready for people's hands. There were also several baby animals frolicking for extra cute photo ops. There were several hand sanitizer dispensers around the animal pens, but there's also a bathroom with a proper sink for hand washing. The dark maze was okay. It really is quite dark (not entirely pitch black) but dark enough that I had to reassure myself this was a family-friendly maze and no pumpkin-headed serial killer would jump out at me. It's also not so much a maze as it is a dark path through an outbuilding, but it's worth a try, especially because it's free! To be honest, I found Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch because I wanted to take an Instagram photo but didn't want to pay an admission fee to hold a pumpkin for 2 minutes. I'm glad I was that vain because I found a new fall activity destination!

Sweet little pumpkin patch we take our kids to every year! Affordable and has all the fall vibes your looking for!

Our friends brought us to Carmichael's Pumpkin Patch in October, and it was better than what we have expected. Firstly, the store restaurant/cafeteria had a decent selection of food. The burger, frito chili pie and nachos were all good. As for the outside, there were plenty of pumpkins and gourds available for purchase. I really enjoyed looking at all the farm animals they had. We will definitely be back again next year.

This pumpkin patch is getting bigger each year. They have a lot different attractions for the children such as camel rides, hay ride, corn maze, as well as a huge selection of pumpkins and other gourds. We spent a good two hours working on seeing everything. Their petty zoo is great. Make sure to get there early for parking. They have expanded their parking lot to accommodate everyone.

One of the best parts was the playground they've got a really nice setup for all ages, which made it easy to let him burn off some energy. The gift shop is also really cute and fun to look through, and there's a snack/restaurant area if you need a quick break or something to eat. Overall, it's a great spot for a family day and we'll definitely be coming back again.

That is a great break for the family after long walks to just kind of slow the pace of the zoo down. One thing that I don't enjoy quite as much is the long stretches between exhibits I know that they've been working on this. But just at the zoo it is very easy to get overheated and exhausted because it is very spread out not a lot of trees around and just a very large distance sometimes between exhibits So you're definitely gonna wanna bring plenty of water and if you have kids bring a stroller or something that has shade so that way they don't get more out super easy. We also got the chance to go to the zoo like Full thing fun cool little games to walk-through and play at it cuts the zoo in half and you are able to walk-through and just play a few cool games along the way. They are not any animals out so it is just solely there for you too bring your kids and play a few games and see some lights we were under the impression that it would be both you could go and see some animals at night and play the games.
