So much to see, eat and do and never enough time. The kids always love the petting zoo. This time we did the horses as well. They have everything you can imagine to eat. Annual tradition.

I haven't been to the fair in about 5-6yrs but decided it's time to go this year. Last time I went admission was $6? This year it is $15!! And parking is $15-20! That is insane! We decided to Uber there and back and that was so much cheaper than paying for parking at the fair! We got cheese on a stick, alligator bites, the classic funnel cake, corn dog, lemonade. We don't ride rides but I saw the mega ride pass was $90! That is just crazy. The fair is becoming pretty expensive for what it is.

Paddlecakes! Loved it

Since moving here in 2018, we have been to the Tulsa State Fair the last 3 years. It's pretty darn cool. I love our State Fair. Be prepared for the $15 parking, and they do accept card. Bring CASH, because some old school food vendors have a problem taking card. I wish they'd see that it's now 2022, and some of us do not carry cash anymore.. Fair Food, rides, neat toy vendors, and small shop business vendors...we spend the whole day there. We especially love the car displays, the eats, our daughter had the paddlecake (funnel cake on a stick), I had to try the donut burger, and my husband had the moikballs. All SO fun! But the "Handmade Stuffed burger" vendor was disappointing because they advertise this amazing burger stuffed with Mac n cheese with the works - and they said they were all OUT! He stood in a 30 min line for you to tell us that??!! Handmade recommended the poutine fries, which were SO disappointing. $12 waste. Time not included. There was a dirt bike bike show in the center of all the amusement rides, pretty cool! There are other entertainers at different times, so you'll want to keep an eye out for that. There are petting zoos, and this time we weren't able to check out the prize-winning animals. Go check it out, bring more cash than you think you need. See ya 2023!

Here is my advice if you're heading to the Tulsa State Fair: -Leave early! It took 2 hours to be ushered in to even get a park for $15. -Avoid weekends if you don't love crowds, long lines or people-filled places. -Check out the entertainment before hand. Today was mariachi music & loud. Wished I could've changed the channel. Lol -Choose your food vendor(s) wisely. We ended up getting near raw corn dogs & french fry ribbons wet & limp with grease. Also tried the donut cheeseburger & it was just weird. Lol other vendors looked awesome though. -Bring lots of cash. Most vendors weren't able to accept credit cards today & things are expensive. -Buy only the ride tickets you're going to use as they change them every year so you can't use them next year, after the event. Also no refunds. -Bathrooms & hand washing stations were fairly convenient and easy to get to. -Be ready to walk a lot & stand around. The nicest place to sit, eat, etc. is near the petting zoo /pony ride area. Also if the live music isn't exactly your jam, it's quieter over in this corner. -If you have kids, they'll love the animal encounters here too. You can feed and pet goats, pigs, sheep, cows, even kangaroos, lamas and deer! It was pretty cool & free aside from optional ice cream cones filled with food available for purchase for $5 (or 2 for $8). If you're lucky you may catch chickens hatching and piggies being born & suckling too! -Vendor expo was pretty cool, air conditioned too with some various food vendors (alcohol) and a few things for kids but not much. Heard you can get great deals here! -Tulsa County Sheriffs were in full force today & it felt as safe as a busy fair could be...still keep your kiddos close! Until next year...still glad it's here & a fairly large sized fair. Overall the kids had a great time!

Hello and welcome to Tulsa State Fair's world showcase. Do you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the American Society? Take your family on a tour around the world. The kids can learn about the 11 countries that make up the world showcase, but why would they when you have the Tulsa State Fair? And you can grab a few drinks along the way! You'll be dying of thirst at every ride available in every section of the park! The drinks are too expensive to buy at any station, resulting in absolute dehydration within the first 15 minutes! Grandparents can opt for their own fun in the indoor couch area! As your children run amok across the great lengths of the park, you won't have a damn clue where they are! Who cares!? There is fun for adults and children alike to be had in all our animal exhibits like birthing pigs... fat cows, and stepping in [redacted] at the petting zoo! From all of us at the Tulsa State Fair.... we hope you have your experience real soon! Thanks for the experience of a lifetime! -October 1st, 2023 [A.S, A.Z, B.H, B.R, L.R, M.S, N.C, V.P] Review written by A.Z.

Huge place. Fun venue No one could afford to build this now days Well planned out and easy to navigate I came for a horse show and the stalls were nice and the footing was good Lots of places to warm up so not crowded I was happy the buildings weren't too hot Plenty of vendor space so lots of shopping Clean restrooms and decent food selections Nice seating for spectators

What a great time at the Tulsa State Fair.. Something for everyone! Rides that will make you scream like a kid again.. animals and agriculture.. great deals on big ticket items like appliances, hot tubs, grilles and MATTRESSES! But let's be honest.. we come to the fair for 2 reasons.. #1..People watching - makes you feel better about yourself and your life #2.. THE FOOD... Alllllllllll the glorious gluttony goodness.. no judgement zone.. deep fried.. sugar covered..ranch slathered..gravy.. bacon...bacon and MORE BACON PLEASE! It's only once a year.. go have some fun.. get back to your kid roots! Make sure you make it to the building in the back where they have all the Made in Oklahoma booths. #eatthelocals

Ah the fair for some reason it's something I have to go to every year. The best time to go if your looking to avoid the waves of people then get there as soon as they open for there are NO lines. The buildings are fun to go through unless you get sucked into a sales pitch then it's not. The rides here are pretty cool even thought I haven't gone on any in 3 years they even got a log ride now which was my favorite. Then there the all time best ride the sky ride which is a great experience that overlooks the whole fair and a lot of T-Town. Some vendors can be bossy that's the reason for the 3 stars. As far as food I go all out, here are some most haves at the Tulsa State Fair. First you got to have the Donut Burger I know it's sounds nasty but it's one of the most unique favors you'll ever try for sure. Second you HAVE to get the fried alligator this is also a very unique favor but this year the best vendor for the alligator passed away but there's still some good vendors. Lastly fried pickles to me the best fries pickles are at the fair and are best when there pickle spheres rather than chips. All in all the fair is something you got to go to every year or every other year for it's a great experience

We look forward to the fair every year.. We went twice this year, once we took a shuttle bus and the second we parked on lot. The shuttle bus was very unorganized and did not stay on the 15 minute cycle they advertised. The night we parked on lot it was raining so we had no issues parking. The food was amazing.. We tried corndogs, the steak sandwiches, chicken skewers, bacon wrapped hotdogs, chocolate covered bacon, French toast burger, bison burgers and cotton candy.. Everything tasted great but the prices this year were very high.. $8 for a Sprite was crazy! We did not ride any rides.. We did do some shopping in the buildings bit it was mostly all the same vendors as the last several years so it was hard to find something we had not bought before.. All in all it was a great experience as usual. We are already looking forward to next year.

Fair fare

What's the deal with the awful reviews guys????? A fair is a fair is a fair. What are you expecting? This ain't no fancy gala or nothin, it's the Tulsa state fair! Pass the corn dog! Seriously though, the reason to come to the fair is for the free people watching and the fried food on a stick. Sure, you can buy frozen corndogs at your local reasors, but there is something about the foot long fried corndog that makes the fair a bit more magical. I also recommend the spiral spuds, fried Oreos, and donut bun burger. I'm definitely cheating on my diet, but come on people, the state fair only comes around once a year... I'm not big on scary carnie rides and games, but I'm totally into the people watching and all of the fried delicacies. Pass the corndog!

While service was awesome, the lack of rides and food options was not the best. I am not sure if this was intentional or if they just didn't have many participants. While I love the fair and everything it has to offer, it seemed like there weren't many people there. Also, that was a good thing since there weren't many seats available. I was happy that my grandmother didn't come as she usually will sit and watch from afar. The food was subpar but still got the taste buds going. Maybe next year it will bring more to the experience I am used to having but until then, I will live off of this one.

I love all state fairs. All of them. I've been to some of the big boys like Iowa and Texas. All are similar but each have these little details that make every Fair a little different, like a snowflake. Iowa has the Butter Cow. Texas has Big Tex. Tulsa has the duel threat of a World Class Cake Contest and the Eponymous Golden Driller. I may be biased because I live so close to the fairgrounds, but this was a really great fair. They have all the typical fair stuff of course (food, rides, mattresses for sale). I was amazed at the awesome free stuff they had, like a ninja warrior type structure from Ford. Seriously I walked up and straight on to a cargo net up to a zip line ride. You'd easily spend $40 to do that most places. Definitely get your tickets ahead of time. Admission is $6 (instead of $10) and ride tickets are heavily discounted too. Also I highly recommend getting there when gates open. It gets CROWDED afternoon and JAM PACKED in evenings.

Fun slides for ALL ages! They have slides for all comfort levels too; from calm to adventurous…read moreriding experiences. The only reason for 4 stars is because their bathrooms were dirty and not welcoming, and that was at opening time as I picked the first time slot of the day. Warnings: - Most of our group of 5 ended up with elbow, finger, and knee burns that hurt like a paper cut! While the mats you lay on are great, you can still accidentally touch skin to plastic/rubber going at a high speed down a slide! - Do not try to stop yourself or push yourself up at the end of slides while in motion or you could injure a shoulder. Just let your mat go until you completely stop naturally. The more you resist or go against the speed, the more likely you are to have an injury. - The steps up to the slides are tall, like one foot or more, much higher than regular steps. Some really small kids had to crawl up the steps. It's a workout! Each visitor must purchase a pair of their grippy socks that you can reuse on future visits. If you don't want to leave your shoes and belongings out in the open, you can buy a locker. I was able to fit 5 pairs of tennis shoes, a jacket, and my purse in one locker. This allowed us to walk all over the place without having to watch our stuff. Our group enjoyed the snack bar; we had bottled water, nachos, icees, dippin dots, bagged popcorn, and candy bars. Don't forget to tip! There is seating around all of the slides if you only want to watch your party and not participate. There are a few basketball courts for kids that want a break from the slides. The parking lot is huge, plenty of spots. Buy your tickets and sign your waivers in advance, and it will make in-person checkin-in much easier!

This is such a cool concept and this is the first Slick City in Oklahoma. They have other arcade games for everyone to play, a bounce floor basketball court and an upstairs area for private parties. You do have to buy their special socks. It they provide the mats to slide down on. Me being "Big Ray" I was too big to slide down the slides, they have a weight limit of 275. Adults can go down with the kiddos, but again. You can't be 6'5" and 390. LOL There's a summer pass available for $79.99 and that allows thr kiddos to come in for 2 hours a day. What a great deal!! There's a food court available with some basic food. It's not omg amazing, but for the little spot to eat, it's pretty good. I tried a pepperoni pizza and waffles fries with nacho cheese sauce!! Both very yummy again for what they are!! All this to say, what a great addition to get kids off the phone and actually playing!! Oh! That have massage chairs to enjoy too!! Woot!!
