Woodward Park is best known for the Upper and Lower Rock Gardens and the Tulsa Rose Garden, with the latter being recognized nationally as remarkable. Other structures in Woodward Park include a cobblestone driveway, a brick carriage house, a sunken garden, a glass conservatory, the Teaching Garden, and the Tulsa Garden Center, which provides horticultural and environmental activities. Woodward Park is so beautiful. Whether walking underneath the canopies of diverse tree species of the Arboretum or wandering through the colorful animate gardens, each area is uniquely breathtaking. The kids absolutely love the playground area. It looks like it's pretty new and it is kept up. They really enjoy coming here. There is a small playground for younger kids and a bigger one for older kids. It has a spongy waking surface made of recycled rubber, so it soften off possible falls. Parking is only along the curb, usually best on 29th street. There are trash cans and a dog litter dispenser.

This park recently underwent a major remodel, and I couldn't believe the improvements!…read more The park is very spread out with 3-4 different play areas and a splash pad scattered around soccer and baseball/softball fields. There are also walking trails that wind throughout the park and along the river! One of my favorite things about the play areas is that towards the back of the park there is a playground specifically designed for younger children ages 2-5 years old! Although with supervision a one year old could easily play on this as well. This is great because a lot of typical playgrounds can be unsafe for younger children and more likely for an accident to happen. Next to this particular playground there is one designed for older children ages 5-12, so for anyone with multiple children they can play on the appropriate set and not get bored. Another great thing I noticed about the playgrounds, they have padded artificial grass underneath and around them versus the typical wood chips or rocks!

In the summer Case Community center has outdoor movies with popcorn! The trail is very scenic and most of the trail runs along views of the river. My favorite part is to find the bald eagles. There is a nest that resides in the park and you can often see them flying overhead. The park contains so many trees! Which make you feel like your in nature. The park also has newly installed picnic tables. It just really is a nice place to have near by. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is no dog park.

Guthire Green hosts a Food Truck Wednesday that takes place from 11am - 1/2pm (it's seasonal). The food trucks usually have different rotations. Selections from tacos to lemonades to Greek food.
