Hole #1 tee is next to the picnic pavillion (86th st entrance). This is where the Harvest Festival used to held during the fall before they changed it to Rayola Park.

It was a gorgeous place to explore! It's a fairly easy hike for kids. The trail goes from the parking lot and is about a mile (maybe less) and comes back to the parking lot. My kids won't normally walk this far on their own, but there is so much to see and so much variation on the trail that they never complained or asked "how much longer" - my kids are ages 5-13. There is some climbing around rocks to get through the trail, so little ones and the elderly will need help. Wear good shoes. There is a small nature center and bathrooms. We love this place and will happily go back in any season!

This community park is in Owasso's Redbud District, also known as downtown Owasso. It's a small,…read moreflat space for the Saturday farmers market or an event on the green. On a recent Saturday the roofed plaza held the farmers marketer for produce and merchandise vendors. The stage on the park's opposite side had a dozen residents practicing yoga. In between was a grassy area. A water element occasionally shot up fountains in which toddlers splashed. There's no playground but an area has percussion instruments for striking a tune. Restrooms and street parking available.

If having to park away from the parking lot it might be quite a walk to the trails. The inside of the nature center had clean bathrooms, a kids area with a couch and some books, and things for kids to look at. There were multiple artifacts out that I felt I had to stop my toddler from possible breaking. So maybe not kid safe for multiple kids being watched by one parent.

Well at least when the weather is cool enough, and the humidity low enough, that you can stand to be outside. Mostly October through April. There is a closed, isolated section of Mohawk Blvd. that lies within the boundaries of the preserve. It makes for a beautiful hard surfaced walking trail. In addition to the scenery, there is usually some wildlife. The area is great if you are into birding. There is a small lake that always has water fowl and it is not uncommon to see deer or hear an owl. This year's drought has taken its toll. The lake and pond levels are lower and the trees have been punished. Noticeably quite a few trees didn't survive. A great peaceful place to walk.
