Guthrie Green, the heartbeat of downtown Tulsa, is a vibrant hub that never fails to impress, especially on a Friday. This central meeting point hosts a myriad of events, from free concerts and ballet performances to the beloved Food Truck Roundup and First Friday art crawl. Regularly finding myself here without planning, Guthrie Green has become a go-to spot. During the holidays, the twinkling lights add a magical touch. The free performances from the Tulsa Ballet are a treat, making this venue a cultural gem. The Food Truck Roundups on Wednesdays in the spring, summer, and fall are a foodie's delight. Free Bachata classes and dance times on Sunday evenings are so fun! Yoga on the Greens happens regularly. They have movies playing here in warmer months during the evening. Definitely follow Guthrie Green on social media to stay breast of all that's happening at any given time. While the splash pad may be small, it offers great relief for the little ones during hot Oklahoma summers. Guthrie Green is not just a space; it's an experience, a dynamic canvas where the community comes alive with music, art, and the shared joy of being together.

Great outdoor concert venue and gathering place located in the heart of the Brady District in Downtown Tulsa. It's always a fun, relaxed, family-friendly environment. The Green offers free music, movies, yoga and access to delicious food and food trucks. If you have kiddos, there is an interactive fountain/water thing to cool off in. The Green also offers free, well-maintained, climate-controlled restrooms. No need to sneak inside a restaurant or bar to pee! The addition of Mr Nice Guys was great for the Green. Taco snack or mac'n cheese on the lawn?! Yes, please!

I just moved from the coolest city to live in (yes, Houston...I miss you!). That being said, I honestly had no high expectations for Tulsa and let me tell you it is surprising me! It is definitely no Discovery Green but Guthrie Green is kind of like it's little brother. It accomplishes its goal of being a green, central gathering space for The Brady Arts District quite beautifully (I mean, check out the pics I posted). They have performing arts event throughout the week, including exercise activities, outdoor film showings, concerts, dance shows, market...you name it! It is a beautiful meeting space with fountains and a Cafe. Definitely my favorite spot in Tulsa at the moment. There is plenty of parking around it too!

Guthrie Green- downtowns favorite playground. Well, in my opinion. I am so thankful for this addition to downtown. On any day (non winter days) this park has loads of ground to play, picnic, and run through the splash pad. Have a tasty snack from Luckys or just take in the sun. Now for the activities. Each Wednesday at lunch time they host Food Truck Wednesday. The entire greens are surrounded by good trucks for the having. Bands play- kids jump and working stiffs eat! Sunday market is a great place to buy local items from produce to handmade items, and another day for a band! Various other events include weekly movies projected, yoga and Makers fair. stay close to the website or Facebook page. You will always find something fun and friendly for all ages.

Oh how I love love love this little area in Tulsa. There is always something going on at this location, it's beautiful and Wednesday's are Food Truck Wednesday (perfect place for lunch) I would highly suggest adding Guthrie Green on social media to keep up with the events. It's a beautiful grassy law area for picnics, playing, stage for music & has a small splash pad for children. Today we went to yoga for kids, played in the splash pad & then enjoy Food Truck Wednesday. It's a nice area, has plenty of parking, and also we love the movies on the lawn on Thursdays. It's a great addition to the Tulsa area! I highly recommend this area for any looking for a place to relax. There is also a a restaurant on the location, with outdoors seating but also plenty of restaurants in the walking area.

Free fun! Guthrie Green has free concerts, exercise classes (yoga, bootcamp), movies on the lawn, arts activities, festivals, and more. This is a recent addition in the up-and-coming Brady Arts District and seems to have something for everyone. There is a "spash pad" for young children to play in, an outdoor stage for free concerts (this past weekend I saw DJs perform electronic sets there Saturday night and a folk rock band play on Sunday afternoon. Looking for free, fun Summer activities? Go to the Guthrie Green website for a complete calendar of events. A+ venue.

Guthrie Green is a beautiful multipurpose park that provides pretty much anything you could want for an afternoon of fun. The main draw for me is the event space. The stage is well designed, with good acoustics and great sight lines from pretty much everywhere in the park. There is plenty of seating on the grass directly in front of the stage, as well as chairs and steps further back. The city of Tulsa hosts a number of free concerts throughout the summer and fall so the stage is put to good use. There all also a variety of cool fountains and formations running along the edges of the grass. It's pretty much perfect for kids and the occasional overly-warm adult. There is also a permanent restaurant at the "bacK" of the park for those who might want food or need beer. The Sunday Market features a number of choice foods and shops, from fruits and veggies to art to jewelry. Guthrie Green is a fantastic place to come enjoy a Tulsa Sunday morning or afternoon.

Thursday night movies at Guthrie Green are free and fun. Although you're welcome to bring your own food and beverages, there's a Mr. Nice Guys onsite with great food, beer (high and low point), and nonalcoholic beverages. There are also other vendors who come out on an intermittent schedule.

What an awesome place. I loved all the food trucks. I did wish there were a few more I was kind of expecting a Taco Truck or something but oh well. I went to the "Wings & Things" Truck the food was really good.

I bring my binoculars and always spot a great variety of birds. The trees are absolutely stunning... there are over 100 species of trees. Honestly... it's a little escape from a hectic world. It's the perfect place to bring a book, find your spot, and just relax for a while. Whether you're looking to unwind, enjoy nature, or have a quiet moment to yourself...this park is a hidden gem that never disappoints. Perfect for getting in your steps too! I like to go early morning before it gets too hot or busy. Starting in May they have free canoe rentals!! They also have very good food. Love their fresh fruit cups which they prepare every morning daily, their sandwiches are fresh and very good! I've also had their ice cream and it's delicious. When you first walk into the main building, you can check out chess pieces and other games. Some of the tables have the chessboard design printed on them. Perfect for getting your chess game on. Every Wednesday and Sunday, you can bring your dog. Over at the boathouse on the bottom floor they have a little museum called "Drawers of curiosity." Hard to believe The Gathering Place doesn't charge an entrance fee!! It's just simply amazing!

*** Review is during Covid-19 ***…read more Going through pictures in my phone and realized I never posted this from when I went in the late summer! This is a nice place for a calm little stroll. There's no playground area or super large/ significant grassy areas to spread out for typical park activities, so it really is mostly for walking around. The main focus, then, is the fountain and pond. Then it's kind of little paths going around it. I really like how there are different levels, so you can be down closer to the pond or higher up. I also think it makes it that much more visually appealing. The paths and levels are made out of large brown stones which I think looks good. There's also some plants around - I think they are called cats tails? Don't quote me on that haha. There are a good amount of benches for sitting spread through the perimeter of the pond. There's also a deck sort of area nearer to the fountain. It looks nice, but could DEFINITELY use a clean up. There was quite a bit of trash, particularly near/ caught in the deck part. It wasn't a completely disgusting amount, but definitely noticeable. To be fair, while I was walking around a didn't see a SINGLE trash can. How can it stay clean when trash cans aren't provided?! This is the main reason for not being 5 stars. If it were cleaned up and then added some trash cans to prevent it getting so trashy again in the future, it'd be great! I saved my favorite thing for last: the view!!! The entire Tulsa skyline isn't visible, but you can see part of it, plus a highway bridge, which is a really cool backdrop in my opinion. Overall it's also cool that there's this semi-tucked away park (though not really the super grassy open kind as mentioned) in a more downtown/ urban area. In fact, it's just a walk across the street to some coffee shops, restaurants, etc.
