Just skip the holes with the water hazards. - playground. Two playgrounds on the same side of the park. - fields. Soccer and baseball fields. - dog friendly. If you are a loose leash owner, I've seen plenty of people with dogs off leash. Lots of room away from the road. There's not tons of off leash dogs there btw if that concerns you. - picnic/gazebo spots - parking in several areas Again, it's not perfect. It can get busy like all parks, there might be people that you don't care for, and it doesn't have every single feature a park can have - but it gets the job done.

There is a time capsule area on the northwest side of the park. There is a playground wih things for toddlers to 1-2 grade. Good park for flying kites and balsa wood airplanes. There is Clayton Coss chainsaw art on a tree on the west side. They have events here, this is where the traveling Vietnam Memorial was for a couple days.

I arrived at 7:45 PM on a Monday and the park was quite busy. The 3.2 mile jogging/walking trail was amazing and it took me 60 minutes to complete. The trail wraps around the scenic LaFortune Golf course. Located along the trail are playgrounds, pavilions, ponds, sculptures, the ARF center, basketball courts, crochet courts, and tennis courts. A large part of the trail is empty though but this was better than paying membership for a gym that you don't go on a regular basis.

The table is meant for playing with the pea gravel - two bowls to fill up and to PVC pipes to slide gravel back down. The trees surrounding the equipment all have platforms build under them, not sure why but they make great places to sit (Moms) or climb (kids). We will be back, my kids (6, 4.5 and 2) all loved it! PS another review mentioned a whole wall dedicated to crisis pregnancy...I didn't see that, only one reasonably sized sign, placed for marking the facility entrance.

Located in a safe & residential spot, this is where I feel OK to let my dog and future kids roam free. Lush trees and nature are well landscaped with clear stone paths. Open fields make perfect kickball, baseball, soccer, and made up games venues. (Has anyone ever played Frying Pan?)
