Located in a safe & residential spot, this is where I feel OK to let my dog and future kids roam free. Lush trees and nature are well landscaped with clear stone paths. Open fields make perfect kickball, baseball, soccer, and made up games venues. (Has anyone ever played Frying Pan?) There are four beautifully paved tennis courts that are fenced in with lights for night-time play. And, a playground has all the slides you need. Happy playing!

Although I will say most days the water looks very brown and I personally wouldn't touch the water. But I have seen people kayak in it. They have swinging two seater seats that over look the water. They also have a cool map of Oklahoma that's engraved in the cement. On the other side of the park they have lots of trees and a nice walking path. There is a path leading to the bridge where you could walk across it . Both sides have restrooms. I have noticed there are TONS of mosquitoes that straight attack you during mosquito season. I stay clear of this park during that time, because I'm allergic to their bites. Love walking my dog because there is lots of shade and he loves the squirrels that he chases up the trees. Lately there's been a lot of electric bikes - kids in groups of like 5-7 at a time zooming through really fast on the walking path so heads up and be aware of that.

The walking trails were just as beautiful and so breathtaking. The playground must be an add-on from the past four years because the previous reviews don't say anything about the playground other than possible renovations. I can't wait to go back again soon. The only negative thing I have to say is that because it seems to be a very pet friendly park, I did not see any doggy trash stations. I think those should be added all throughout the park.

I arrived at 7:45 PM on a Monday and the park was quite busy. The 3.2 mile jogging/walking trail was amazing and it took me 60 minutes to complete. The trail wraps around the scenic LaFortune Golf course. Located along the trail are playgrounds, pavilions, ponds, sculptures, the ARF center, basketball courts, crochet courts, and tennis courts. A large part of the trail is empty though but this was better than paying membership for a gym that you don't go on a regular basis.

A little about it: - pickleball (6 courts and it can get busy. Free) - trail that goes into the woods a little bit. NOT like hiking. - disc golf. Challenging, yet good for beginners. Just skip the holes with the water hazards. - playground. Two playgrounds on the same side of the park. - fields. Soccer and baseball fields. - dog friendly. If you are a loose leash owner, I've seen plenty of people with dogs off leash. Lots of room away from the road. There's not tons of off leash dogs there btw if that concerns you. - picnic/gazebo spots - parking in several areas Again, it's not perfect. It can get busy like all parks, there might be people that you don't care for, and it doesn't have every single feature a park can have - but it gets the job done.

The park is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of benches and picnic tables along the way for resting or enjoying a snack. Overall, Hailey Creek Park is a great spot for a leisurely dog walk in Tulsa. The scenery is beautiful, the park is well-kept, and there are plenty of amenities to make your visit enjoyable. I highly recommend it for pet owners looking for a nice place to take their furry friend for a stroll. Bathrooms were super clean and we noticed they had updated the frisbee golf to include more "holes"!

*** Review is during Covid-19 ***…read more Going through pictures in my phone and realized I never posted this from when I went in the late summer! This is a nice place for a calm little stroll. There's no playground area or super large/ significant grassy areas to spread out for typical park activities, so it really is mostly for walking around. The main focus, then, is the fountain and pond. Then it's kind of little paths going around it. I really like how there are different levels, so you can be down closer to the pond or higher up. I also think it makes it that much more visually appealing. The paths and levels are made out of large brown stones which I think looks good. There's also some plants around - I think they are called cats tails? Don't quote me on that haha. There are a good amount of benches for sitting spread through the perimeter of the pond. There's also a deck sort of area nearer to the fountain. It looks nice, but could DEFINITELY use a clean up. There was quite a bit of trash, particularly near/ caught in the deck part. It wasn't a completely disgusting amount, but definitely noticeable. To be fair, while I was walking around a didn't see a SINGLE trash can. How can it stay clean when trash cans aren't provided?! This is the main reason for not being 5 stars. If it were cleaned up and then added some trash cans to prevent it getting so trashy again in the future, it'd be great! I saved my favorite thing for last: the view!!! The entire Tulsa skyline isn't visible, but you can see part of it, plus a highway bridge, which is a really cool backdrop in my opinion. Overall it's also cool that there's this semi-tucked away park (though not really the super grassy open kind as mentioned) in a more downtown/ urban area. In fact, it's just a walk across the street to some coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

I've been here a couple of times when there have been community events like program recruitment and fitness sessions. It works really well for this type of reunion. There's plenty of space to spread out and the set up works really well. A lot of people from the neighborhood seem to join regularly. The only reason why I don't rate it higher is because it usually needs cleaning, with lots of random trash left. The restroom walls have also been vandalized several times. Wish we'd take better care of it!
