Just skip the holes with the water hazards. - playground. Two playgrounds on the same side of the park. - fields. Soccer and baseball fields. - dog friendly. If you are a loose leash owner, I've seen plenty of people with dogs off leash. Lots of room away from the road. There's not tons of off leash dogs there btw if that concerns you. - picnic/gazebo spots - parking in several areas Again, it's not perfect. It can get busy like all parks, there might be people that you don't care for, and it doesn't have every single feature a park can have - but it gets the job done.

Overall, Hailey Creek Park is a great spot for a leisurely dog walk in Tulsa. The scenery is beautiful, the park is well-kept, and there are plenty of amenities to make your visit enjoyable. I highly recommend it for pet owners looking for a nice place to take their furry friend for a stroll. Bathrooms were super clean and we noticed they had updated the frisbee golf to include more "holes"!

Located in a safe & residential spot, this is where I feel OK to let my dog and future kids roam free. Lush trees and nature are well landscaped with clear stone paths. Open fields make perfect kickball, baseball, soccer, and made up games venues. (Has anyone ever played Frying Pan?) There are four beautifully paved tennis courts that are fenced in with lights for night-time play. And, a playground has all the slides you need. Happy playing!

i arrived at the park from the south side, and was able to find the gym location near the north…read morewith relative ease by traversing the trails and sidewalks throughout the park, though i did recognize on the way out of the park that following the path along the west side was the more direct route to avoid walking on the grass. nonetheless, after arriving at the gym, i asked if the front desk attendant was the same person with whom i'd spoken over the phone who told me the gym would likely have open court time from 3:30 to 5. i received a response of no about being the same person, but nevertheless received exemplary assistance with registering at the gym, along with lowering the hoop and learning when the court had a existing reservation. lastly, the court itself was in good, if not excellent, condition, with no identifiable slippage occuring on the hard plastic surface during the hour and change i was there. oh, and by the by, the receptionist told me yesterday the gym will likely have open court hours today also, from around 12:30 to 5.

Smaller playground with benches for the adults while the little ones climb and play. The playground I saw had a softer base though if it was mulch, much of it has drifted off. If you didn't know it was here, it would be super easy to drive right on past. Once you do find it, there is a small parking area. That's probably ideal because there is only the one tennis court (not lighted) and a small picnic shelter. The entrance roadway continues down into the forest but it did not look to be open for driving a vehicle and I wasn't sure that there would be a turnaround down there. So I did not proceed. I do wish that people respected the lakefront more. The only place in the state park that I found litter was on the lakefront/beach area where day guests come. The park rangers stated they are hosting a cleanup day on Earth Day for the beach/lakefront. I hope that future guests will keep it clean because the views are just beautiful!

There as well appeared to be a 4 wheeling area at the base of the dam. It seemed like a nice area just to chill if you wanted to drive up and admire the impressive infrarestructure they have created. The energy plant is nearby. I am sure at night this would be a nice place to take pictures. I don't know if I'll go out of my way to see this but if you're in the area doesn't hurt to drop by and check it out if you've never seen it before.

got there, saw a poop on the sidewalk, and though that may not be the answer to "what went well?"…read morefor everyone, it is for me because i responded to a city of tulsa online signup post to cleanup swan lake neighborhood, so the sight of poop was relieving because such a natural waste is preferable for me to other forms of trash i've saw on the ground. then after seeing a kennel type of enclosure inside the pond, i'd looked across the pond, in merica still, northside of pond, transatlantic connect, whatup ? and saw a whole gaggle of geese and one majestic swan, who eventually glided across the pond with apparent ease. further, about halfway around that northside of the one way loop, beginning near s utica & e 15th, is a bench that mighta made today for a seat with a serene view, though is a potential resting place for runners running around the pond loop. lasstill a little opportunity for cleanup around the neighborhood, so go do that on the city parks website if in need of service hours or looking for volunteer opportunity.

Now, it's a quaint and lovely residential spot. Come find peace, love and swans in historic Tulsa with a 7 minute walk around the pond. Volunteers do an excellent job of keeping this spot maintained. Pretty yellow flowers and a statue welcome you as you snag a parking spot. A family of ducks and two swans waddle or swim about to create a picturesque ambiance. Lake is a strong word for this pond, but it provides a good home for the animals!
