Keep to the side of the trail and try to keep your eye out for bicycles as there is definite debate as to who has the right of way (Hint: it's the pedestrians but when your handlebar hits someone and you dump into the road, it's too late.) Playgrounds, picnic tables under a huge picnic pavilion, a basketball court and a disk golf course round out the other goings on here. Oh, and a dog park. Trails seem to all kinda loop together, so the trail walking could be as long or short as you needed. The nature center itself was so cute and educational. They have a small area dedicated to kids. Of course it was stunning and scary and I was shell-shocked seeing the beauty of the trees and the construction of the park itself. this place is a special place to me now. I return sometimes just to remember where I came from and the magic of the quantum random universe. I still don't know why it happened here in this park. I have a gap in memory from the transfer from 1919 to this year. but i appreciate the happenstance.

There is a cute bridge over the park that would make for a good photo op. The restrooms were clean but there was some scattered trash here and there in the park. I couldn't tell if this is people who don't care or perhaps it was windy enough to blow trash out of the trash cans.
