Demo- if you are removing old counters & backsplash, be prepared for some slight repairs & touch-ups on cabinets and / or trim. Also, they do not remove your existing faucet, garbage disposal, oven vent etc. Nothing plumbing or electrical. If you add tile on a wall where there previously was none, expect to need longer machine screws to put the outlets back. If they don't notch out the tile for the plate covers they will not be as flush. We found both of these things out the next day while trying to put the outlets back in & covers on. If using your existing sink, the sink clips may not fit with new counter. We had to remove sink & caulk under. I hope this gives some insight for others as we had no clue of the process going in.

She was also very helpful in letting me know the area suppliers that they use in case we couldn't find a sample we liked in the showroom. She was super responsive to emails and after my initial measurements I had a quote back same day. Templating/final measurements and install were both scheduled at the same time and the person helping me on that was very friendly. Everything was done in about a month from my initial deposit! The counters look great, the installers were very nice and professional, Travis in the office was a huge help during demo and I'm very pleased with the final outcome. 5 times they delivered my island damaged or defective. After their 7th visit to my home (2 times to…read moreinspect), and the 5th piece of quartz, I gave up on them and accepted a defect. Tops should have been checking the product thoroughly before delivery and installation but instead they blamed everyone else. We have more projects but will never use Tops again. They were literally unable to provide an undamaged piece of quartz and they didn't seem to care at all.

After we put a deposit on the first building, the dealer called and told us he won't make good on our contract. We told him to return our deposit immediately. He said he'd mail the check back. Insted, he waited until the close of business that Friday and cashed the check. We are currently out several hundred dollars and have no building coming. The parent company, West Coast Metal Building , is in Salem, Oregon. They operate in Washington, Oregon, CA and other north west states. They don't hold their reps accountable. They don't honor contracts. They steal.
