The space itself is divided into two rooms, one a little larger than the other which includes a bar with 5 taps that pour a selection of craft beer. A simple wine list with a good variety to choose from. The smaller of the two rooms is shared with the open concept kitchen where all the magic happens! The charcoal pit fills the entire restaurant with the mouth watering aromas of Charred's signature rotisserie chicken. The super hot coals lock the juices in creating some of the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had! The secret Piri Piri sauce that is paired with the chicken makes the whole culinary experience that much more delicious! Charred has a small, simple menu and it's a winner. The focus on a few items and they make sure that they do those items very, very well! I am already planning my next visit so that I can try their poutine that came highly recommended by the super friendly owner.

I sat in the sunroof area but was still warm thankfully as its -8c outside! And elderly regular came in and chatted up the waitress who was very friendly. I ordered mild wings and a coffee. The music was low key and thankfully the volume was low. The pub was very clean with many big screen TVs. I think Id like to come back for dinner or a sporting night! The wings were big and I ordered breaded. Good choice! They were super delicious and meaty. I appreciated the three wet-naps! (even with the three wet naps, I managed to leave the place with sauce on my face lol) I chose a single order and I could have eaten a double order. I'll definitely be coming here for wings again. $5 off wings on Thursdays and Sundays all day!! Yay! The service was so pleasant which made for a great lunch experience. So happy with this place. Highly recommend!! PS I still feel uncomfortable taking pics inside, but if you google images, that's pretty much it.

So I went here the other night while visiting Niagara Falls for a concert. By the time we made it…read moreout of the concert there wasn't a ton of options open at 1030pm, so my wife and I decided to get chicken wings and deep fried pickle spears at Wings up because they were still open until midnight according to the online profile that was updated by the business just a few weeks before that. My order, I thought, was pretty simple all together...honey garlic wings that are well done, and specified a couple times well done and the pickles. So I drive about 15 min to the restaurant, was given the order and sent on my way. I get back to my hotel room, open the wing box, and was left disappointed by what I saw. The wings in the box certainly didn't look well done. I thought, okay, I'll just try them because maybe they are deceiving...WRONG! What I took a bite of was some of the worst wings I've ever had. Anyone that ever thinks that the wings I was eating were well done they would have to have their head examined! I throw the wings back in the bag and rush off back to the restaurant as I wanted to get there before midnight when it closes to either get my money back or at least get a new order. While on the way back to the restaurant I start calling the restaurant and it just keeps ringing, and ringing, and ringing, with no one picking up the phone. I pull up to the restaurant that now looks completely dark and empty and I couldn't be more mad!!! I pull up to the front door and see that the time is now 11pm that they close! Wtf! How is it 11pm when the online profile, that as I remind you, was updated not but weeks before that says midnight! I'm convinced at this point that the workers purposely made the wings as quickly as possible because they knew I wouldn't be able to get back to the restaurant before it closes! So I get back to my hotel room, more mad than I've been in a long time, with no food and about $55 less in my bank account. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Don't ever go to Wings up in Niagara Falls, Ontario...

Ordered the steak n guinness pie and was surprised that it was indeed a meat pie, not just stew topped with pastry. Disappointed that there was no steak n kidney pie. The meat pie was typical pub grub. Not a lot of choice for someone that's lactose intolerant. Bathroom was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed on the patio except to use the bathroom. Reasonably priced, would visit again if in the area.

This will be a confusing review. Been wanting to come check this place out for a while now knowing…read morethat they have live music everyday. Had some time to kill before a show so decided to check it out. Cool little place, felt comfy and friendly with what seemed like regulars occupying the bar area. Server was friendly, a lovely young lady singing, and our drink order was taken promptly. Then it got weird. Beers took a super long time to arrive even though the bar wasn't too busy. Food order was also taken quickly and took a super long time to arrive. Servers shift was done, we paid and were told a new server would be taking care of us. That never happened. As our glasses sat empty, the Mr. went up to the bar to grab another round. For some strange reason 2 beers at the bar were almost $2 more than what we just paid. That's not cool. The nachos were really good (although $4 for the very tiny side of chili was overpriced) beer was cold, but the service was disappointing. For that reason I'm not sure if I will be returning.

Homemade batter, hand dipped, and so so good. It is one of the most perfect onion rings I've ever had. The only reason I won't be coming back here anytime soon is because I live in California and I was just visiting. The lady serving us was rude and I understand she may be the only one manning the tables, but it honestly was not too busy since only 4 tables taken and it was not peak hours, but the tone she kept using with us to "give her a second" was not pleasant. We ordered a BBQ chicken chop salad, the original hamont burger with fries, and two beers. Food took a while to come out. Salad was really fresh but I didn't know it came with beans, which I'm not a fan of. Burger was honestly a bit too salty and dry for me. I also tried asking for ranch for my fries but was told it's an additional $2CAD?! That's pretty expensive for someone from SoCal since sauce is usually free or at most 25 cents in LA. Service is friendly and helpful; you can tell the employees like their jobs, which helps the food taste even better. Their somewhat recent makeover and rebrand gives the restraunt a slightly more upscale feel which I'm not mad about. I love that you can dine outdoors as well, and bring your dog if you wish.
