Ice cream is kept nice and cold, so it was a bit of a workout to eat it with a spoon (but on those humid hot days, I definitely appreciate extra cold, firm ice cream). My only constructive feedback is that I wish they had some outdoor seating/tables because the shop is quite small, and we ended up having to eat standing outside.

They took about an hour to arrive and we got 4 flavours: choco-loco, strawberry, cinnapuffs, and caramel. From the first bite, we were all in love. So much so that my sister had to call the restaurant to find out what kind of oil they fried in (canola) because she felt my brother-in-law HAD to try these. His first bite ended with a "wow". These were sweet but not as sweet as you might expect and despite the delivery time of maybe an hour, still had a great crunch! Our order of deliciousness was choco loco, cinnapuffs, strawberry and than caramel (much to our surprise). We will definitely be trying others! We also got a milkshake and hot chocolate. Both good but the puffs are the obvious standout. Ambiance and service is hard to speak to since this was an Uber delivery but the lady on the phone was helpful enough and the branding of the product is clear and bright. Plus, everything came packaged nicely.

AMBIANCE: (4/5) The restaurant has expanded since I've been there last. There is much more seating in the back and they added a picture wall that you can use to take IG-worthy photos with your dessert. The lighting is soft but bright which also makes it a great place to hang out The front of the store is getting a little haggard. FOOD: (3/5) The sizes of the icecream scoops here are crazy. I absolutely love how much they give you - matching the price point in terms of quantity. 1. Oreo Icecream Sundae: This sundae was gi-normous and looked soo good - with whip cream, chocolate drizzle, and oreo cookies lining the cup. However, it was a little unsatisfactory. The 'oreo' icecream they used had basically no oreo in the mix. The icecream itself was bland (???). 2. Pralines & Cream: I LOVE pralines & cream. The kiddy scoop I got was so worth it. The icecream was creamy and thick. Exactly like the ones at Purdy's (my absolute favorite) but at a better price. SERVICE: (3/5) The service wasn't SPECTACULAR but was not lacking. The counter stretches around to the convenience store as well, so they service both. The icecream came out 8'ish minutes after we ordered (only 2 people in front of us) - which may be an issue in the summer time as it gets busier. OVERALL: (3.5/5) This is a store you come back at least once a year just because their pics look so good on Instagram & if you don't want to trek uptown to Biggies Icecream.

Great location and customer service…read more Scones: Decent. A little sweet (which I like), served with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Fruit: The fruit was the best part of all our meals here. It was so fresh and sweet, which I thought would be difficult to find outside of California! I also enjoyed it with cottage cheese, which is not so common at breakfast spots in California unfortunately. Tea: The tea is enjoyable but pretty average when compared to bougier tea spots like The Bruce in Stratford. It's not clear how long I should let it steep for for optimal flavor. I preferred the Winter Dream green tea, which was warm and cozy, slightly sweet. I also preferred the McCrae over the Boathouse blend. The Boathouse blend was a little basic for me, and the McCrae had a slight sweetness that I enjoyed. High Tea: Average - a good price and pleasant experience, especially if the weather is nice enough to eat outside (and catch a bald eagle flying by!). My favorite dessert was the carrot cake cupcake. Ice Cream: Yes, ice cream and tea is definitely a good idea! The banana cream pie tastes like your classic Runts banana flavor (the original banana that got wiped out) and the black cherry has plenty of big cherry pieces.
