By luck, I caught a coffee tasting when I dropped by while I was in the area. What you'll find here: front of shop that displays bags of fresh coffee beans that are roasted in small batches, aeropress, pour over, and other coffee accoutrement, plus the larger "warehouse" area where beans are being roasted/packaged. Perhaps Wayne will make you a coffee/espresso-based drink so you can sample their beans! What you won't find here: baked goods, muzak, laptops, stale beans, or dairy alternatives. Again, it's a coffee roastery that also preps bags for e-commerce. It's not a café. 250g bags are around $9, a bit more expensive for their Microlots - if&when they're available! This is loads cheaper than many other roasteries that I've been to where you're paying ~$20 for a bag and don't necessarily end up liking it. Recommended stop for any coffee lover if you're near the Bronte GO Station!

Last time I was there, it was lunch time so I ordered the empanadas and they were soooo delicious! They were filled with ground beef and potato and seasoned perfectly. My friend had the soup, which was filled with veggies and quinoa. It was served with lots of fresh veggies and and tortilla chips (they had run out of rice, which is usually an option). The lattes and cappuccinos are excellent and the prices are very fair. I love that the coffee and sugar is fair trade too. The atmosphere is just so warm and inviting and the whole place has a homely, welcoming vibe. I hope to be back again soon to explore more of their menu.

My family went to this gelato shop last year on Canada Day after the fireworks at Bronte and Lakeshore and it was the high lite of our evening. This year we had been looking forward to going again following the fireworks and were very disappointed to see they had closed. From a business perspective, this was not a smart move as there were thousands of people passing their shop following the fireworks at 10:30pm and they missed out on a lot of sales. Many people were checking their signs and saying how they were surprised the shop had closed 30 minutes earlier, at 10pm. What made it worse was the owner was inside counting her money while customers continued to go up to the door to see if they were open. Usually we recommend this location to friends and family, however the owner continues to lack in customer service and I believe is losing out on a lot of business as such. Please reconsider next year and stay open later on Canada Day! read more

My husband and I have been going here for 6 years now. The gelato is homemade, always delicious and they have a variety of flavours. We like how they change their flavours frequently as it's fun to try new things and really you cannot go wrong with any of them! Try the pistachio, coffee crisp or cherry cheesecake! Once we had orange chocolate and it was absolutely delicious! This shop is in the perfect area by the lake and during the summer they have great hours! Just call if you are wondering when they will be open until. We have found on more than one occasion that they are open when other gelato shops in Oakville are closed. The owner's daughter-in-law who recently started working there full time is an absolute pleasure to deal with! She has really taken the time to find out what their customers are looking for, try to improve their business and make us feel appreciated. She is a big reason why we continue to go back! read more
