Hey this is better than the funnel cake at the fair in Dallas. Way more options too. I could have gotten much bigger than this.
5/5 PHENOMENAL dessert. Ice cream isn't too airy - doesn't taste like it's out of an ice cream truck. The fudge covering it tastes so good with the funnel cake (crispy, only got soggy at the very end), I'm obsessed. 1 portion is enough for 2 people. Would definitely go again (with my gf - she'd love it). (downsides: parking is tough, and line can be long when busy, but it's so worth it)

Dairy Cream since 1958 No matter when, you will see people lining up there. My hubby got the vanilla with cotton candy dip, he always chooses the cotton candy flavor! I got the rum raisin & mocha almond fudge. The portions are huge and I could distinctly taste the raisin and fudge in the ice cream. So good!
The ice cream here is really high quality, very creamy and really great flavors , and they put a lot of toppings on the ice cream. They have a good variety of Desserts like milkshakes, Sundaes, And scoops. I got a sundae with Marshmallow and a hot fudge, as well As a Mint chocolate milkshake with a lot of chocolate chips . It is a popular place for a reason!
This is another place my sister and I used to visit as kids that we decided to revisit. While my brother-in-law and I were waiting in line, he asked what I recommended and I told him if I remember correctly, anything with their soft serve is awesome so just make sure you get soft serve. He later told me that at the time he was like ok, but how good could it be? And then he had it and it really is better. We all ended up with funnel cakes and they were so good. Warm, sweet, delicious. My sister and I shared a funnel cake for two which was topped with chocolate and strawberry. The strawberry was better of the two but the chocolate was still yummy. We just would maybe go with a different fruit next time to pair with strawberry. My brother-in-law got a funnel cake for himself with caramel and literally scraped the plate. So needless to say, we were all happy. One thing I should note is they accept debit and credit cards. At the risk of aging myself, the last time I was there they were cash only so I feel it's worth mentioning.

So much to choose from! Went with the classic dip (vanilla and chocolate soft serve) covered in peanut butter on a waffle cone. Very filling! Also tried the grape milkshake. The small shake is a pretty large portion. Would probably try the scooped ice cream next time. There were many flavours. All of the options were listed on their website. The setup for COVID was very well done with clear directional markers. It kept a nice flow of customers into the store for two fast moving lines. Only complaint is that there are limited options of where to eat your ice cream before it melts!
I used to get funnel cakes at Wonderland every year and I really missed that. I was looking for funnel cakes nearby and found this place. We drove there and luckily there was a parking lot. It's a small shop that fits only 2 people at a time. And of course due to covid, they had a line outside where everyone was social distancing with their mask on. The funnel cake was super good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was freshly made and warm. The warmth of the cake and the cold ice-cream are a great combo. I'm glad I found this place because funnel cakes are my favourite dessert!
Small shop on your way to Port Credit in Mississauga. This is far better than what you get at Canada's Wonderland when it comes to ice cream and waffles. (and cheaper) Not much more to say about vanilla ice cream, but it's yummy! 3.7/5
Came here after reading all the reviews. Maybe it was over hyped a bit. We weren't blown away by it. Yes - you find get funnel cake every other place. So that part was nice. But I wish they had a nice hard fudgey chocolate shell on top of the soft serve. At least that's what we asked for but got chocolate syrup on top. It was reasonable which is another good thing. At least we didn't feel ripped off for an ok dessert.
Dairy cream is about a 15-20min drive west of Toronto. When the weather is hot, expect a line that does move decently. They are known for their delish ice cream! I discovered they also do Funnelcake!! As good as Wonderland and the Ex! I said it, thank me later Hits the spot everytime!!
If you can look past the fact that a funnel cake is going to cost you $20, there is no reason not to come here. This is a small shock with a parking lot that can hold 50 cars. And, you know that there are times when that lot is completely full of people looking for ice cream. The soft serve ice cream is exactly what you remember soft serve ice cream tasting like, provided you were born in the 90s or before. Otherwise, you might not have any idea what soft serve ice cream tastes like, in which case this is even more of a treat. The milkshakes are also superb. The banana coconut milkshake is made with banana chunks, and little bits of coconut that you slurp up in your giant straw. Everything about this experience is perfect for those who like ice cream. And, the only thing that you can get here is ice cream and ice cream related products, so don't go expecting a burger to go along with it. You are here for the meal of ice creamy treats. And, you will not leave disappointed. read more

The ice cream here is sooooo good!! My mom, sister and I went to go get ice cream with waffle cones and it was so good. I got the NY cheesecake flavour and it is now my favourite. I've been craving ice cream for a while now and this really satisfied my craving. During summer this place is usually extremely busy with long lines and I finally got to try it to see the hype and now I understand. Will definitely be revisiting! They have a bunch of other items as well such as frozen yogurt, sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, and more. read more

It's probably been one or two years since I last came; last time I got the milkshake, and this time, I decided to treat my entire family to ice cream! It was a very lovely Victoria Day (roughly 20℃) which definitely called for a treat. As I was feeling a little full, I opted for the junior swirl soft serve. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend their vanilla soft serve; the flavour definitely pales in comparison to other vanilla soft serves. For that reason, I'm glad I got it mixed with the chocolate! My mother and sister both got the small vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate. I had a bite of it and it was so good! The chocolate dip really accentuated the flavour and was something special to have on an otherwise normal soft serve cone. My dad got the single scoop cappuccino flavour in a waffle cone. Despite being just a single scoop, I was surprised at its generous size! It was quite large. I did find the ice cream slightly too sweet, but very rich in coffee flavour. The waffle cone cost $1 more but was very delicious. We had a very happy ice cream outing and will definitely return! Looking forward to frequenting this store on my birthday for the free meal hehe. read more

Visiting dairy cream for funnel cake again. Soft serve is top-notch with a freshly fried funnel cake for the extra crunch! Can't go wrong with that Too: go there earlier to avoid long queues. I went there at around 11:50am. read more
How did we only discover this place this summer?!?!?! omg... funnel cake craving can now be easily satisfied (rather than looking forward to going to wonderland or foodie events)!!! Located on lakeshore in missauga lies this tiny hut that has all the icecream goodness anyone can think of! We first heard about this through a friend and thought it's too good to be true.. so we decided to make a trek out there and long behold there was a line for this small place!!! Line does go by quickly as there are like 5 people serving you at one time. Lots to choose from.. from dipped chocolate softserve, to actual icecream, slushies, smoothies, funnel cakes and waffles! Pricing is also VERY fair compared to wonderland and other foodie fairs.. You could get the classic strawberry funnel cake with vanilla softserve for under 10$!!!!! And trust me the size is humongous and delicious.. can definitely be shared amongst like 2-3 people!!! One thing to note though is that this place is cash only.. but so worth it!!!!! read more
I can't believe I've never been here. You thought dairy queen or Baskin Robbins got something in this joint? No way! This place is super friendly and so family oriented it'll blow your socks away. Due to covid, they've now got a snake line up outside of their tiny store. They only fit 2 customers at a time and one on the very right side of the store and the other on the very left so they can follow protocols. Each customer will exit their own respective doors so that there's no cross walking. Anyway on to the food!! FUNNEL CAKE ($6.25 plain) is a MUST. I know you guys might think I'm just a food junkie.... But this funnel cake is next level. If we were to compare it to wonderland, it's not even comparable. This one is light and fluffy and full of flavor. (I know it's just the flavor of the fry but it's sugary enough and not oily in flavor). It's not oily to the touch so i can actually use my hands to peel it apart and eat it. Definitely must get! That blue ice cream cone is the blue raspberry dipped cone. They are most famous for it and they have many different flavors like peanut, chocolate, blueberry, blue raspberry, etc. I absolutely LOVE blue raspberry Gatorade and candies so I was so excited to get this dipped cone. (~$3) You can get vanilla, chocolate or twist flavored. NOTE that their soft serve is made by dairy cream themselves! What I'm saying here.... Is the line up is worth it! And it doesn't even take that long They close at 9pm so get there way before that. They've got 2 security guards there to make sure everyone follows protocol. Tons of parking all around in a U shape of this establishment. read more

Still busy and still the place to be at the end of August with the days of summer ending and school starting up for the kids. We came on a Saturday afternoon and thankfully it wasn't as busy and we were able to get a parking spot near the front. We got a small blueberry dip ice cream and a large cookies and cream waffle cone. It was as good as ever! #18 of 2019 read more
5 stars for the way this place is managed during Covid-19, assuring proper line and sanitizing. The line was huge on Saturday evening but with proper social distancing. At the entrance one of the person will give santizer to sanitize our hands. And also check if any funnel cake order so it's given in advance reducing the wait time. We tried the orea shake , funnel cake with ice cream and both were exceptionally good. There are tons of options and the service is quick once you get in to order barely 5 mins and you are out. Highly recommend to try this out when at lakeshore! read more
On a sunny warm/hot afternoon this is one of my favorite ice cream shops to go to. Although the line up may be long, the wait sure is worth it. The portions are generous and the service is a pleasure. Dairy Cream offers scooped ice cream to soft serve. They also have Funnel Cakes and Belgian Waffles. Boy of boy are their Funnel Cakes super scrumptious. The batter is perfectly cooked and with a nice crunch on the edge and they definitely don't hold back on the ice cream and topping. If Funnel Cakes are not your thing, there are Sundays, Banana Splits, dipped cones or just the regular ice cream. There is plenty of parking however limited seating. read more

BEST FUNNEL CAKE!! Get the ice cream dipped in chocolate so it hardens plus strawberries and you've got yourself a true winner. The dipped chocolate also keeps the ice cream cooler for longer! Worth the one hour wait. Delicious and crispy even after we drove around for 10-15 mins trying to find a place to eat it by the lake. I craved it as soon as I finished! Definitely a great place to come to on these hot summer days. read more
This place is AWESOME! Great atmosphere and desserts to grab with your partner, friends, and family! We came at around 8PM - it was pretty packed but we lined up for less than 10 minutes. We got the classic funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and strawberry topping. MMMMMM! The funnel cake was SO good. So crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside, and not THAT sweet. Paired with the creamy and yummy ice cream and strawberry topping = classic and delicious combo! I'd come here just for their soft serve, I thought it was really delicious! Waited in a long line for dairy cream but the service was very fast. Came in the beginning of June and it was so busy. Loved the vibe; saw families sitting on the benches and enjoying their refreshing desserts and a lot of people pulled up to wait. I had the regular funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and strawberries: the funnel cake was nice and made to order so it was FRESH! Tasted really good and wasn't doughy like some others I've tried. Didn't care for the strawberries but the ICE CREAM WAS AMAZING! Never tasted anything like it and I really enjoyed it. Wasn't too sweet at all. I also had the pins colada milkeshake: I enjoyed this drink as well because it was mixed with the ice cream which I already loved but the pina colada flavour could've been stronger. Definitely worth the drive and wait in line to come get some. RECOMMEND! read more

What can I say that everyone has said all ready . Bottom line good soft serve icecream old school style like in the 70s &80s . At a great price . Line can be long but it moves fast . So wait . Such a cute ice cream and amazing ice cream! Saw them in our neighbourhood and decided to come here after dinner. The place was pretty busy at 10pm on Thanksgiving day! My husband and I got two mini sundaes and they did not disappoint! The butterscotch was just creamy and amazing. The chocolate was rich and delicious. The ice cream itself is soooooo fresh and delicious. Prices are decent but they are cash only. I believe there is an ATM onsite. Definitely definitely worth trying. read more

anytime i'm in port credit this is a must go! lines are soooo long in the summer - we even went at 11PM and still long but it moves quickly! tons of options so by the time you decide you're at the front of the line. i asked for a small sugar cone and i assumed the scoop would be small too - NOPE! huge portion size so if you want a little ask for a little! love their chocolate chip cookie dough the soft serve looks great and tons of people have tried it and told me it's yummy - including tonight. next up for me: funnel cake! it looks sooo good and comparable in size to my wonderland treat days. price: $8 for a small waffle cone and soft serve twist sign me up for the summer! only reason it doesn't get a full 5 stars ...not a ton of flavour options BUT that's okay read more

SO happy tonsee this place is still in business. Best ice cream, huge portions, excellent customer service. There can be a wait sometimes because it's THAT good and WORTH the wait. Brought a tear to my eye. I lost Dad to cancer almost a year ago and we used to walk several blocks from his apartment to a Dairy Cream whenever I visited him (and it was summer time). Small place, limited parking but they make it work very well. Clean and just so happy to see it's still thriving. Thank you for posting the photos folks this meant so much to see. I'm in Alberta now so likely won't be back again. I'm 52 now and my health isn't good. Wishing you much continued success! If you're thinking about trying this place it does not disappoint. It's got a home town feel and it's as though time didn't even touch it and sometimes that's a very good thing! read more

Can never go wrong with ice cream on a hot day! A tad bit expensive but super refreshing and rewarding after a long walk at port credit! Lots of flavours to choose from, even have waffles, crapes, funnel cakes... AHHH, and frozen yogurt. Yum! Long lines almost all the time during the summer, but it goes pretty quickly. Also, limited parking (more parking spaces at the back). read more
